I love this place even though Im not crafty. I needed fake flowers and guess what? They have lots of them. A little expensive but its not something you buy often. Thats it. Thats my entire review. Lol

This Michaels was awesome. Friendly Associates. Their jewelry crafting area was to die for. Organization like Ive never seen before and their selection was marvelous.

Ive been shopping at this location for most of my life and have always been satisfied with my experience here. Sometimes it is hard to find more specialized materials for fine arts projects but this is a reflection more on Michaels as a chain than it is this location; for general arts and crafts projects I can usually find what I need. The staff are always friendly and helpful!

The woman with purple hair had zero customer service skills. The person in front of me wanted to know more about Michael’s advanced services for framing and the employee made her feel silly for asking. Shut down my question about an in stock item (according to their website) and then shortly after was overheard saying “get out of way it’s time for my break.”

They have such a big variety of things my granddaughter wnt looking for more art supplies. I went to use the restroom

The cashiers are always nice and courteous. The story is just overpriced things are always $2 to 3 more expensive there than anywhere else

Michaels is always a place I love to be. I got my neice some great art markers and the works to go with them. When I was an art instructor in Boston it was an every day trip. This Michaels is just as good. Clean, organized and great service.

Half employees in Frederick store dont know product solutions so no huge help there. Notable that one supervisor was maskless in store contrary to store policy. However, the store has good product selection. In general, way better than Joanns in Frederick.

Rating highly because 1. I love art so obviously this is a place Im going to enjoy and 2. Ive encountered some very helpful and personable staff. I deducted a because 1. the stock can be hit or miss. This might be due to COVID and usually you can check the site before going in to see if its in stock and 2. I can get much lower prices elsewhere but to have a place I can go into and not have to wait for shipping is really nice. Also you can always find coupons ranging from OK to awesome.If Frederick only had the Joannes it would be tragic.

Michaels is always great for craft supplies. They were reconfiguring some sections so it was a little messier than usual as they were pulling stock. The store was clean and had lots of ideas for making items. Fall and Halloween areas had plenty of variety.

The sales staff was very helpful and friendly. We were interested in mat boards for our custom pictures but we discovered their prices were way too expensive unfortunately.

Its exactly what you expect. If its craft related, you are highly likely to find it here. You may have trouble finding staff to help you, but when you do they will know which aisle to find what you need.

Nice big store with plenty of parking in front. You can get good deals if you use their coupon. Its not crowded at all during the week.

Large selection of yarn and it was on sale. Aisles were pretty narrow.

There inventory was not as I expected. Alot of areas where bare.

Great place for yarn and accessories but not as much yarn as other places.

Staff was helpful in locating what I needed and answering my questions. They honor AC Moore coupons so that was a bonus. Quick and easy check-out. Parking was plentiful and close. Clean and well stocked store

Great customer service. However, the gift I had them make fell apart on presentation day. It was quite embarrassing. If I’m paying $235 for 3 items to be framed...I’d expect that it would be a simple job for Michaels to do. A significant piece falling off the moment it was unwrapped for presenting is unacceptable. I’ll never have them assemble a gift/frame ever again. They didn’t even offer a discount or ways they could fix it when I notified them. Again, unacceptable and very disappointing.

Decent enough michaels

Love Michaels. They always have sales going on and almost everything youd ever need from there. As far as this particular location, the staff has been kind, welcoming and helpful. The only thing Id like to see improvement on is; restocks more frequently. Some items dont appear to be restocked very often, once sold out.

Maybe if the store would have posted that they were closed for everything except curbside pick up it would get good ratings. You cannot consider yourself open for business if you’re only providing curbside pick up. Nothing like wasting a 40 minute drive because a large business is so worthless they cannot update their status online. Let’s hope they go out of business.

Like the store ... but they have problem ordering stock.Been there 3 times for the same item and all I hear it is to be ordered. Order (Embroidery Thread) and yet to stock some of the colors.

Dont bother with the curbside pickup. The phone option didnt work so I was forced to go into the entrance area with my child while several employees tell me my four year old needs a mask. I say, no kidding, we didnt PLAN on going inside but you cant find my order for curbside pickup. Ladies that work here are very snotty and just state that they have a lot of orders. I dont understand why they cant organize them by name. If you dont want us going inside, get you curbside pickup in order.

Weve never been to My Thai before, found it on Yelp needing a place to eat before an evening meeting. We were pleasantly surprised to find a substantial menu of freshly prepared dishes. We met the owner who was very eager to ensure everything was good. She emphasized that they are happy to accommodate any request for diet preferences and they had a wonderful array of vegetarian options. Well be back.

I don’t know why they have less decorations holiday on shelves before holidays they removed decorations on shelves before early Halloween

This place owns me any time there is a holiday. I get 90 percent of my craft stuff here..beading, painting, cake decorating, wood crafts. Staff are lovely, especially the custom framing department.

Went in around 7:15pm. The young ladies working were very nice & really helpful. The cashier was really friendly & helped us open up our Michaels account. Found some cute flowers I will definitely be returning.

I love this store. The email coupons are great (50 -60% off 1 regularly priced item and lots of other discounts). You can always find someone to help you if you have questions. This is a great craft store. In general Michales has great sales, coupons and promotions with a wide selection if items. They now take competitors coupons too!! This Frederick location is usually well stocked and never crowded. It is clean organized, and the staff are pretty nice.

Michaels is my go to place, but since before Christmas the options of its Im looking for has been bleak.

The people who work there were very nice and patience with me which I appreciated.

They charge way to much for things and no one ask if you need help even when there not busy. I went there a month ago color pencils for 72 were under $ 6 and now they are $10 and for 100 pencils $23. I bought them at Wal-Mart for less than half of that the same pencils for 100 pencils $11.43 I dont trust Michaels pricing policy they are out to cheat the customer out of there money no way that there products should be double of other retailers its the same product.

It is on the small side for a Michaels store, but I found everything I needed. I probably spent more than I needed to, though. I appreciate that they accept competitors coupons (from AC Moore and Joanns)
