The owner (I assume) stood at the register and when I came over to ask for work boots he showed me all qualities of boot and helped me pick based off of my needs. Great local hardware and workboot store. Super selection of hardware, tools, Red Wing and Timberland boots. Store has a little of everything. Everytime I think Ill need to go to one of the big home improvement or automotive stores I stop here and they have what I need usually as cheap or cheaper. Staff is always extremely friendly and helpful. Always a friendly down home local atmosphere. I highly recommend.

We were in desperate need of some wirk boots! They had a wide selection and the customer service was beyond expectations! We got there close to closing but she took her time helping us and several other customers! So friendly! We found the perfect boot for my Husband. I am glad we took the drive out to the store. We love supporting local brick and mortar stores! Not those big box stores!

This is a small hardware store but it is packed with everything you might need. Its not your Lowes or home Depot. It doesnt sell lumber or drywall. But Id look here first before going anywhere else. Saves you a drive into town and is friendly and has a HUGE selection of work boots.

Awful experience. Went in looking for boots and couldnt find anything. Things seem to just be thrown every which way and there is no one there to help you if you have questions. I dont know who in there right mind would want there brand in this store with this kind of customer service and setup. Bottom line, dont waste you time in there, go somewhere where the employees have some product knowledge and are willing to help you

Always an awesome experience when I go to this small-town store. The staff is friendly and well educated on every product in the store. When they were out of the boot I wanted, they ordered it for me which was nice since I didnt have any other luck with any other shoe stores in Frederick, well I did, but this store had a lower price and more experienced staff. I really dont understand what Scott Miller is talking about, but I have three guesses. 1. He is either too idiotic to know what kind of shoe he is looking for or how to ask for it 2. He tried buying shoes after closing hours, which circles back to idiocy or 3. Hes clearly a representative for Red Wing shoes my guess is hes all three, and just as an extra note, trying to degrade customers in to coming to this store and hoping they come into yours, produces quite the opposite reaction actually, we arent all easily tricked you know.

The website claims they sell women’s work clothes, but don’t believe it. They have one tiny corner of jackets and that’s all. Did not appreciate driving all the way from Frederick to discover that it’s jackets only.
