Scott was great, patient. He took his time and figured out our needs, wants and desires. Made various recommendations to make sure that our decision was to our satisfaction. Very professional. Some other flooring companies seem to ride their years in business and seem to have lost customer skills. I would highly recommend Potomac tile and carpet for your flooring needs. Great,people, service, product and price was good too.

Place has decent selection of flooring and carpeting etc. but the sales staff & floor room service is a bad joke. When asking about the availability of a certain tile the salesman said he wouldn’t even attempt to contact his factory rep. He said a sample board was on loan to a contractor and he would call me when it came in. I said I lived 20 miles away and to please send a text photo of it but he said he couldn’t as he only had a personal cell phone and wouldn’t use it. Really??! This is 2021 and it’s how business is done. The two owners are always on local cable TV advertisements professing how great and helpful they are. Anyone that would run a showroom like this isn’t worth even talking too let alone doing business with or being a customer.

The staff was very helpful, answering any questions I asked. They suggested tiles for my bathroom project.

Before the Thanksgiving holiday, we contracted Potomac Tile & Carpet to install some carpet. Weve used them before and have been very happy with their work. We had extended family coming in from out of state to stay with us, but we had plenty of time to get the carpet down before they arrived - or so we thought. We ordered the carpet and scheduled the install. When the carpet arrived, it was not the carpet we ordered and so we had to wait another week for the right carpet to show up from the factory. This was ok as we still had some time before the holiday. On the second order, the factory again sent the wrong carpet. This was a problem because we had scheduled a furniture delivery and also really needed the space for our visiting family. One of the owners, Wayne, took personal responsibility for the situation and spoke frequently to the factory, providing us with updates as he got them. Ultimately, the carpet we wanted was not going to make it in time for Thanksgiving, so Wayne had his people come out and install carpet, at his cost, in the room as a temporary solution to the problem. Several weeks later, the right carpet arrived and was installed in our home and it looks great. Customer service is easy when things go exactly as planned, but much more challenging when they dont. Because of the way they stepped up to find a solution for us, Potomac Tile & Carpet will always have our business.

We had new carpets installed and a new kitchen floor installed very professionally done. Everyone was extremely nice and wanted to please us which they did with a great job, my husband is a perfectionist and thinks the guys were the best. All we have to say is that it was perfection!

I really wouldn’t know if their service is good or not. Not one person ever came out to see if we needed help in 20 minutes.

My personal experience with Potomac carpet and tile was not good. I was talked down to, and the owner was very rude.I will not recommend anyone use this business. There are many other places to go!

They have a great selection of products. They were also very helpful in the planning of my project and offered excellent suggestions. I wish I found them sooner and will continue to purchase from them in the future.

Always looking to rip the customers. They miscalculated the required boxes of tiles and they did not disclose that the unused boxes will not be returned. I had total of 3 boxes left over. Each box containing over 15 tiles. Plus they are much more expensive than home Depot, Lowes or any other store.Please think twice before going to them.

The place is cluttered with carpet and floor samples. Additionally, the bathroom floor samples shown are predominantly Brown and tan. There is nothing with color. We will go somewhere else for our flooring needs.

Very happy! We ordered some Luxury Vinyl Tile (Floorte) through Scott at Potomac Tile and Carpet for our kitchen renovation. The order came in quicker than expected. After installing almost all of the tile, we noticed the last box of tile had some slight damage. I left a message with Scott just before July 4th. He got back to me as soon as he returned to work on the 5th, let us know he ordered a replacement box and we would get a call when it was in. To my surprise, I was called yesterday by Barbara and she let us know our order was in! We will definitely be going back to Potomac Tile and Carpet for our future renovations.

Horrible service you have to wait about 30 mins for someone to come help you . All of their tiles are on special order and u r not able to return left overs . They calculated the sq feet and the boxes I would need and ordered 4 extra boxes of tiles which are no use to me since I can’t return it . Avoid this place and go to Home Depot or Lowe’s .

When in to look at hardwood flooring manager was a complete jerk basically told me to get out without saying it they will not be getting my business
