My experience at uBreakiFix was great. I needed my screen fixed in a timely manner and I couldn’t find a single other place in Frederick that would do it on short notice. I walked in to the store and they were able to fix it for me that day.

They are awesome and reasonable. I will always use their services when needed. James and the other technicians are very responsive and incredibly helpful.Prior to my laptop needing repair, I also had the impossible done on a fairly new phone I had major issues with when my own Carrier refused to help. uBreakiFix actually saved me quite a bit of money as I avoided needing to purchase a new phone and laptop.

Without a doubt the worst experience from a business in a long time. Dropped off an iPad with a broken screen on 10/30 and was told it would be fixed by the end of the day, called later told that wasn’t right it would be done on Sunday 10/31. Called again Sunday evening and told sorry it would be the next day on Monday and they would take the screen off of it so it was ready to be replaced first thing Monday. Another trip there and it’s still not done on Monday and I was told “sorry we are short staffed”. Upon asking for it the iPad back it was returned exactly the way I gave it to them however it was overheating and extremely hot to the touch. I was told, “sorry it was on the heater”. I will never return to this store, nor will I recommend them .

I didnt know what to expect when I brought my daughters Chrome book into the store. She stepped on it and broke the screen. The man at the desk was friendly and assured me that they could fix it. I received a call that it was ready, which was much faster than I had expected. The price was also fantastic. This was my first time there and I was extremely satisfied. I would highly recommend uBreakiFix.

The last thing you want to hear when you pick up your phone after a repair is, Was it working when you brought it in? I brought the working phone in to replace a swollen battery and it may not have been their fault it died. My issue is that they took 6 days to determine that it was truly dead. While I waited, I Googled the business and found comments from techs in other locations like this is a great place to learn and get experience. I had to call them to get the bad news and the tech told me he had worked on it the night before. Both techs who worked on my phone gave the volume of repairs as a reason for delay. So, my take is they focus on easy cosmetic repairs. If its serious and takes time, better to get a replacement right away rather than be without a device for a week and have to follow up yourself to find out they couldnt handle it.

The only problem was scheduling. I had an iPhone repair that could have been done the same day but ended up unnecessarily leaving overnight due to a misunderstanding. Take your time and ask questions to ensure everyone is on the same page. If possible, call ahead to confirm they have the part and understand the issue.

Awesome people and will go the extra mile to be helpful. Lot of people also know this and so they will get busy fast.

Ethan resolved a major hack which he identified within minutes and fixed/resolved the issue in less than 5 minutes. What a great company and staff. I would highly recommend them for any Mac, IPhone or any high-tech electronic issues. Kudos to Ethan...

About a week and a half ago before I was headed out of town my Galaxy S21 Ultra screen just went black. It would still vibrate and function however you couldnt see anything on the screen. So text messaging or even screening your calls was out of the question. Did all the tips online (except putting it in the freezer) which none worked by the way. Luckily I had a work cell phone that was I was able to get my calls forwarded to, but the text messages were still going to the original phone. Called this shop on a Friday afternoon and told them the deal and the gentleman was like there is a possibility he could have completed later that day if I dropped it off, however it would more than likely be ready the next day (Saturday morning when they opened). I came back Saturday morning and my phone was fully functional again!! Thanks to the guys at this shop, as this was definitely an experience realizing how much we rely on our phones. I dropped off a water damaged laptop, they were quick to diagnose problems with the hardware. They were able to remove my hard drive and let me know that my data was still there. They did not charge me for the diagnostic service or for removing my hard drive. I would highly recommend this location.

Competitive pricing, but most importantly the quality of their work is excellent. I was trying to get the screen replaced on my Samsung phone and it was a smooth process.

Samsung phone is 10 months, under warranty. Went back 2 hrs later. Said no warranty. Camera was broke. . There was a hair line Crack where the lenses are.. the issue is the volume control and the touch screen. Nothing to do with the camera. They did nothing. I will never buy another Samsung phone again. Warranty is useless

I was sent to here by Google who outsourced their protection plan to Asurion who in turn outsourced my local cracked screen repair to ubreakifix. The device I was given back was so broken it was unbelievable. Taken in for a cracked but usable screen replacement on my Google Pixel 4 XL, I was handed back a device with a replaced front screen that no longer fully responds to touch and couldnt be unlocked because of it along with a back glass (that wasnt damaged in any way when I took it in) thats falling off and wireless charging is also now broken. Colossal waste of 2 hours of my time only to leave more broken than I arrived. Will not ever be back nor will I ever stop dissuading people from using shops like this. Incredibly disappointed.Response to the owner: Asurion made me whole - they were happy to send me a replacement device for an additional fee. What I will not get back is the hours of extra time spent dealing with the situation that could have been avoided with a proper repair in the first place at your establishment.

Josh G and Curtis saved my life! I showed up after they were about to close (maybe even a few minutes after) with a phone that had been run over numerous times. They were willing to assess the damages to stay open to fix my phone (on a Saturday night). Both were very professional and helpful and I am so thankful they were willing to help. Highly recommend this place.

Recently went in to get my iPhone fixed, they accepted me as a walk in & got the service done within a reasonable time. My main issues are that when I initially was inquiring to get my phone repaired, nobody had mentioned that my Face ID would be disabled & they wouldn’t be able to turn it back on. Annoying, but not too big of a deal. Second issue is that my phone display is constantly screwing up. I go to pick my phone up and cut it on, I’m met with a black lit up screen. Sometimes the screen will tweak, and open a bunch of apps or scroll & press things I didn’t press. Didn’t have this issue before getting the phone fixed, and if I knew it was going to be this choppy of a job I would have just paid the ticket for Apple Care.

These guys are no joke! They have saved us many times and they are so friendly. Being fair priced is icing on the cake.

I had an appointment for 10am on a Saturday. The repair of my cracked screen didnt get finished until 6:30 pm that day. The screen looks good, but appears that some of the adhesive didnt set on the back panel, because one of the corners doesnt sit flush.

This is a an amazing repair shop! They have a very skilled staff and are very fast at doing repairs. If you want to have a good experience getting your devices fixed this is the place to go.

They did a good job of diagnosing my Mac. Unfortunately the Mac was toast. They did not charge anything which was very nice.

I went there to originally get a second opinion on my Pc build, and my CPU wasn’t working. With their advise I was able to get great information on both the problem with the cpu and motherboard. It became a 2 week endeavor, but with their help and the tech named Ethan H, I was able to construct my new PC with a AMD x3900. :}

I called the shop a few times so far. Might end up going in. What steers me away from them is the high prices of the repairs. I mod stuff. I have a modded Galaxy S5, fast as a S7 or 8 so I know these prices of these things. If they lowered them they might get more business than the rest. Just a thought. Out of respect. I havent visited yet just because of this first part but decided to leave a review out of love of the stuff. Ill call once in a while, but, the prices? Meh .. 4 Stars for now til I can give it a solid 5.

My 3yr old son dropped my daughters 3 DAY OLD nintendo switch in the toilet. I called ubreakifix, they told us to bring it in they would let us know on Friday the results of the diagnostic. They called my husband last night (Wednesday) and told him they fixed it! So not only were they able to fix it, they did so earlier then we were told! I am beyond pleased! $80 fix over $300 for a brand new one! THANK YOU!!

I’ve had no so great luck with phone repair places, but I stopped in today after realizing the tip of a charging cord broken off inside of my charging port! 😩These guys were so quick and professional! They triaged the situation within seconds and removed the obstruction saving me the hassle of having to replace the entire charging port and be without my phone in the meantime. Thank you thank you! I dropped an Ipad off for the repair of a cracked glass on the screen on Friday. I was told it would be finished by Monday as they had to order the part. I called Monday and the said the part came on Sunday but they could not get to it because a corporate order had come in after I dropped of mine. They said it would be ready Tuesday. I gave them until Wednesday and called to make sure it was finished. They said it would be ready by the end of the day and they close at 7:00 pm. They did finish it before 5:00 pm. When I went to pick it up they asked if I wanted a screen protector and I said yes. Well 20 plus minutes later they come out with the protector on and told me the sparkles and streaks would go away in 24 hours. When I got home and examined it more closely I noticed scratches on the back of the unit, the edge of the protector was ragged and there are what look like scratches in the glass of the screen. I hope this review will spur you to make this repair right and really council your staff on timeliness and quality.

Thank God for uBreakiFix! My husband has all of his appointments and contacts on his phone and it just gave up the ghost last night. The screens been broken, but it was still working, til now. He cant work without it. We called uBreakiFix this morning and were able to drop it off today and pick it up tonight! I will not return here. I had an insurance claim from att. Att specifically told me not to call for an appointment. That this was their contracted service provider and took the claims as a walk in. After driving 40 minutes. I was turned away because they said I needed an appointment.

I made an appointment with Josh. I received a call to confirm my appointment and he even answered all my questions about the logistics and whatnot over the phone. They incorrectly estimated the time for repair, attempted to give me the phone back with broken parts. They then had someone reopen the phone and very obviously do a poor job and rushed job. The phone is covered in super glue like adhesive, the back is falling off and the fingerprint sensor is literally the wrong color (Pink) not white like the phone. Management at the store said that is the best they can do, corporate complaints accomplished nothing. This lack of attention to detail and unprofessional behavior from management is impressive. This happened on 9/25/20.

Cracked camera screen and blurry images. Took my phone in and they found a bad camera lens. Fixed and still blurry. Replaced another lens and its perfect. The guys were quick to get us out and do their job to repair my cracked Samsung screen. Their were done in a little more than an hour. Phone performs great.

I dropped my phone off at 12pm and they told me it would be done at 5:30. I called at 3 to check in on it and they said they wouldnt get to it today. They wouldnt have told me until 5:30 when I came in person if I didnt call. I had to come in from an hour away so it was super inconvenient and a waste of time.

We talked to them the day before and set up appointment online. We had a hour and half drive to get to them they assured us they had everything they needed to fix our phone... got there and they couldnt find out appointment then finally found it...and they only had a black back and my phone is pink and I told them its fine I just need my phone fixed...they refused so 3 hours of driving and gas wasted....very poor service......would not recommend them to anyone.

UBreakiFix replaced the screen of my Samsung S10+ after it accidentally got smashed. I dropped it off at 1:00 pm and they had it fixed by 5:15 pm the same day since they had the replacement screen in stock. My phone looks brand new again!

I took my s20 ultra in because I had a camera failed error. They told me that it was unrepairable which is fine. I took it home and it would no longer charge. The closest ubreakifix is 50 minutes away from me so I took it to another repair store. The people at ubreakifix never plugged my charging pad back in after they put the phone back together and they also broke a piece of my motherboard off and left it and never told me about it. This place is awful and I would not recommend it to anyone. Never go to any authorized dealer because they will never fix your phone so they can sell you new merchandise. My Iphone X s screen all a sudden blanked out.I went here to get it fixed. They are professional, quick and the price is reasonable.Before they fix it, I did check with them whether they have any default charge to check the phone. I was worried what if there is more problem than just the screen. They say there is no charge if they cannot fix it. They will text me if they find out there is more problem other than the screen.Very happy with the fix.

I have been there three times for a single cell phone screen repair and every time in the store there has been an issue. Lied to about the current screen inventory, lied to again about the in stock inventory and lastly a forgotten service. Each time I was handed back my phone it was not wiped down and covered in fingerprints which goes completely against thier posted covid-19 protocol. They finally did replace my screen but I would seriously suggest some other retailer.

I dropped my brand new note20 ultra Thanksgiving morning and shattered the screen that made my phone unusable due to the lighting in the screen having a rave party, I realized I was going to have to survive an entire day without it! Well I did survive...and even got over the frustration of my screen breaking even with a screen protector and an otterbox case my phone was but first thing this morning I began calling my provider, Samsung and Otterbox only to find out I had no warranty and no insurance so, I reached out the ubreakifix. I spoke to Josh, who could not have been nicer. He assured me they could fix my phone same day, he even allowed me to take advantage of the curbside service so I did not have to bring my two little ones into the store. I would highly recommend this store to anyone who asks. My phone works great and it is as good as new! Excellent customer service from all staff, especially Josh. My personal iPhone 7 screen needed to be replaced. Scheduled an appointment via web chat sales rep (Sam) in about 2 minutes.I arrived for my appointment, they fulfilled the replacement screen in 90 minutes. During the system check at the counter, they noticed a pressure mark on the screen due to some residual glass behind the screen. They had to start over with a second screen replacement. After another 90 minutes the phone passed system checks and I was finally on my way. They threw in a screen protection for the additional wait. ($140 for a new screen and case)Several days later, I realize the phone indicates it’s charging but it didn’t actually charging the battery. After testing several lightning cables, ports and outlets, restarts, resets and cleanings I gave up and tried to schedule another appointment with ubreakifix. They don’t accept same day appointments (weird) and stated walk ins are 1st come 1st out regardless of the issue.I arrived as a walk in and was met by Darren right away. I explained the situation and he apologized and began working the issue. 45 minutes later he discovered it to be the battery and replaced it at no additional cost. 20 minutes later I was finally on my way.This company isn’t the fastest but by far the most customer first focused I’ve ever experienced. They will get my business in the future.

Normally I have terrible experiences when it comes to phone repairs. But the staff was friendly and efficient. I highly suggest coming here. They were quick with the repair as well. Peter answered all questions and completed everything in a timely manner.

These guys are absolutely professional with A plus service. I brought my Pixel 3 based on Googles advice. It was not charging. The problem was not the port or the battery, but the motherboard. I had to get a warranty replacement From Google. They gave me a loaner until the new phone came in. I give a lot of credit to these guys. Darren the store manager followed up with me via email. I would go back to them anytime.

I was given a timeframe of 2-3 days for a routine laptop repair. It took FIVE WEEKS, and for most of that time no one offered any reason for the delay. And the repair was done incorrectly so I had to bring my computer back in the next week so they could fix it. The shop also somehow managed to lose my laptop charger and they installed an antiquated, unsupported operating system on my device. Communication was terrible throughout. I will never bring a product into this store again.
