Excellent job done on replacing my dining room hutch door glass! It was a beveled piece, which made the job a bit more difficult. But I was patient and Tom and his staff persevered and kept me updated on the progress and my choices. Thank you! I totally recommend City Glass and would use them again.

So far the experience has been pleasant The lady in the front office has been very nice to work with. We scheduled an appointment for measuring, showed up on time and shower door is expected to be installed today. I will say the time from measure to install was longer than expected but given the holiday season is to be expected. Will update after installation

Tom replaced 9 large panels of glass in less than an hour. I was amazed. No mess inside the house and because they were so quick, no bugs were able to fly in. Tom is a man of great integrity, and a man who honors his word. I wasnt in a position to do the windows when he gave me the estimate, a bit of time went by however he still did it for the same price when I contacted him recently. Also worth noting is when I was contacted by Jaime the Office Manager via cell or email she was very professional.I know if I need to have glass or mirror work done, hands down I will be calling Tom at City Glass and Mirror. Thank you I can finally open the blinds and look out the window.

We had two frameless shower doors installed this summer and got exactly what we wanted and were promised. Tom was professional and prompt, and the project went smoothly from start to finish. Plus, he traveled to our home in rural Virginia! Our only regret is we didnt call him sooner.

Ordered a piece of glass to cover a coffee table, it was cut perfectly to fit, was affordable and fast. Will return if I ever need glass.

We just completed our third bathroom renovation in the past several years in two different homes and were thrilled with the work Tom did. He had to be creative to correct some minor tile problems and the bathrooms are all beautiful and functioning well. He and Jamie were a delight to work with.

Over the past two years, City Glass & Mirror has completed six separate jobs for my wife and me. Two years ago, we were new to Frederick and our realtor recommended City Glass & Mirror as a reliable source for glass work, and she was right. After shopping around we also found that they have highly competitive prices. City Glass & Mirror has performed the following jobs for us: two very large mirrors, a half moon window, a full frameless shower door, a replacement picture window as well as a fireplace glass door. All jobs have been done professionally and to my exacting specifications. I did have to wait several days for my jobs to be completed, but that is to be expected when youre ordering specialized glass. We highly recommend Fredericks City Glass & Mirror as a responsible, competitive and professional company.

When I called the store to ask if they have plain window glass, the guy started selling me other products and services even when I told him that I need just that simple glass to replace just one broken door panel.. He insisted that I cannot buy any glass if I dont buy safety goggles first from him. Then he proceeded to tell me that he does not have those goggles and that he has to order them and that would take him a week to order and get them. What?! Then he declared that I cannot install plain glass in the door because it is not safe and therefore he cannot sell it to me. Instead, he started offering me more expensive tempered and laminated glass. What?! I said politely, thank you, I will come later and hang up knowing that I will never, never, ever go to that store. OMG!

Weve had 2 positive experiences with Tom, the owner, and would recommend them. A couple years ago they donated a couple panes of glass for our towns Little Free Library. Based on that experience, we called them first when our 1910 craft store needed about a dozen new single panes of glass because they were cracked. They arrived as promised, removed the broken glass, cut new panes and finished the job within a few hours.

I called and spoke with a gentleman who gave me a very reasonable quote to come out and repair two broken windows. He said someone would call me the following Monday to schedule an in-home consult before they would move forward with ordering the materials. Two weeks later we had heard nothing. I called again and spoke with a lady, who again told me they would call me the following Monday to schedule the in-home consult. While both phone calls were polite and professional, again, we never received the call to schedule the in-home consult. Here we are more than a month later, still with two broken windows and no return call to schedule the in-home consult. To say I am disappointed is an understatement, as I felt the initial contact was promising.

I only gave this business one star because there was no other choice to give them zero. We originally hired them to install a frameless shower door. They were completely unprofessional to deal with. Scheduling with them was an absolute nightmare on multiple occasions they would schedule an appointment time and end up canceling the day of. When they came they were not timely and didnt have enough time to finish when they were there. After ordering and putting down a deposit on the door we never received a receipt of payment or any updates confirming that the glass was ordered or an expected arrival date. On the day we were supposed to have it installed they again canceled. After atleast a month and a half of dealing with them and still no shower door we were done! They did not want to take responsibility for being unprofessional upon talking with them. The only thing that they addressed right was the return our payment of the deposit. For anyone looking for a PROFESSIONAL and RELIABLE glass company I highly recommend Glass and Mirror Services Inc. in Frederick! They did a wonderful job installing our frameless shower door!

They did a great job installing the signage on the front door of our office (Audio Design Solutions)... Would highly recommend them!!!
