The service and store are usually good. I visited the pharmacy and deli and they were good as usual. The cashier named Mia actually fought with me as I was checking out and refused to put the bags of groceries in the cart that was right next to her. There are too many other markets in Frederick to be treated so badly.

Called to order 24 PC. Fried Chicken before I could say when I needed it guy says what time Sunday do you want to pick up? I need it Saturday at 2PM. can you pick up at 4PM? No I need it at 2PM or earlier. Im gonna be busy tomorrow frying 200 pcs all day.Are you kidding me? They probably fry more than 200 pcs everyday. Ive never had this problem before as far as Im concerned thats your job dont wine about having to do it. They just dropped way down on my list. I order chicken all the time never had to give a 2 day notice for 24 pcs.

Good, my main grocer in Frederick. Good customer service, decent pharmacy 💊 excellent meat, fish, deli meats & cheeses, bagels bakery etc.

Some people are just so rude and disgusting human beings. I was doing self checkout and this rude woman would not back up 6 feet, she was in my personal space even after I told her to back up, she just stood there like what???? Unbelievable considering what are all going through these days.

I sure do miss the other varieties of bagels, especially the cinnamon raisin and the cinnamon crusted. Other than that everything was great. Very clean and a large variety of everything.

I never shopped at Giant Eagle Supermarket before. But after being in the area and stopped at Giant Eagle Supermarket to buy some groceries, I believe that from now on I will become a regular here. Clean organized store.

The store is very clean and if your disabled they have power carts for customer use. They have a variety of fresh fruits and vegetables you could not go wrong shopping there. Customer service is excellent and their hot foods very delicious. Youve got to try their fried fish and chicken very tasty and if you are a vegetarian to allergens they have great shopping for you to.

I only shop here it is great!

If was a nice grocery store, it had a clear layout, but geez- these prices were outrageous and made no sense! I bought 3 lbs of chicken for 13.00, but 3 ribeyes were 20.00. Furthermore, milk was cheap, but creamer and cake mix cost more than milk. I was in a pinch and I paid 200 for maybe half of my weekly shopping that I would generally do at Weis. I dont think I will be returning.

The 6 AM shopping for seniors is a wonderful service for those of us that have compromised folks in the house. The staff were extremely helpful and shopping couldnt have been easier. The store was not crowded at all and the prices are good as well.

Great prices and variety. Clean store, just not enough cashiers and keypad for paying is all the way at the back of the line so I had to ask lady behind me to back up after she placed her groceries on the belt already. Very ackward.

We shopped for my Mom (she is 92). She needed a few items, so we went for her. The store has a large selection of items, it is clean bright, and well stocked. We dont live in Frederick, and do not shop here, so we dont know the layout of the store. We were able to find everything on the list quickly. Checkout was a breeze, and we were outta there! Great store, friendly people, great service.

Went yesterday. Not only did I see a worker cough into his bare hands and continue to stock, one female worker continued to ignore the 6ft rule, despite the actual register loudly saying Please maintain the 6ft distance. Meat workers handling meat without masks as well. Not only is being in quarantine hard, but going to place where you see workers not taking this as seriously and handling food left a lasting impression.

Bought 11 pounds of crab legs that were seasoned good but over cooked. Had a time getting the crab meat out of the legs. Probably will not go back anytime soon

They have amazing fried chicken. Nice salad bar. Great macaroni salad, potato salad, or cole slaw. A descent dining area complete with microwave, soda fountain, condiments, napkins. Nice to grab a bite while shopping. We always do other shopping early morning, then stop by here for lunch. 8 large pieces of chicken $7.99. A small salad and drink usually we can both eat for around $11 and have chicken left over for lunch the next day. Thanks giant eagle for making our lunches great.

Found what I needed except fresh basil. April, the cashier, was very friendly and helpful.

Their chicken (fried, rotisserie, and tenders) was tasty. Their mac and cheese was ok (too creamy for my liking). The corn bread was sweet. So, over all, not a bad place to get lunch. There are tables inside to sit down and enjoy the meals.

Love this store. Clean, always stocked, friendly staff. Highly Recommended!

Their prices are good their customer service is pretty cool, The only thing that I would recommend that you don’t do is eat their coleslaw it taste disgusting🤢🤮. Customer service at the deli is very respectful and helpful. The rotisserie chicken and fried chicken is the best. There is always somebody there to help you in the store. I’m definitely coming back !

Was very disappointed. My boyfriend and I put in an order for curbside pickup thrusday to be picked up Saturday. My problem is if you dont have something in stock dont allow me to order it. Second if a mistake happens call or email us back. Dont wait till we get there to tell us you dont have multiple things on our list. Waste of time! should have just gone out to shop myself, I just thought this would be safer.

Products are highest priced at this grocery store in Frederick. If youre looking for gasoline points, they will add up quickly here. Best rewards program because the gasoline points dont expire for 3 months where the other grocery store rewards are harder to build up and expire in one month. Also at the check out register, one has the option of receiving a percentage off the groceries vs. collecting and saving up required gas points to get a gas discount. Nice choice not offered at other markets.

Literally cannot use self checkout if you dont have a membership. A single lane open, with a cashier who neither knows how to remove a scanned item, nor apparently how to flag someone else down for assistance. Gave up waiting for her to finish ringing up the person ahead of me after 15 minutes and just left; Ill get my can of soda elsewhere...

5 starts for the fried fish and the fried chicken! You can call ahead to make sure there is enough fish.

Our favorite grocery store. Great location on the Golden Mile ( Route 40 ), with plenty of parking.Great seafood and meat department, excellent bakery and prepared food ( GE in well know for their friend chicken ). Free gas or grocery discounts that add up fast.

Definitely an ***** rating for Giant Eagle! Delightful juicy 🐔 chicken, at the kitchen, and customer services along with the staff workers being so respectful, courtesy toward everyone in an timely manner. As also to the pharmacy staff teams being courtesy with each individuals, whom have receive their prescriptions and receive an explanation of any drugs that may be harmful or helpful.

Pre sliced water melon spongy and didnt look good.Ice cream freezer was filled ice crystals and the Turkey hill ice cream cartons had frozen crystals on outside of cartons. This being said the 2 interactions with a cashier was very pleasant. I took one pre sliced watermelons back to service for a refund. Young man named Marquis, I believe helped and was very nice and very pleasant, helpful and polite.

I ordered and paid for 200 pieces of there chicken for my Sons wedding. Its the only thing at the wedding that was pretty much eaten up all gone.( There was 3 pieces left). Everyone absolutely loved it.

The flashlight cop standing guard over self check out with his arms folded into his chest. Dont really know what that is about but he gave us a good giggle. Will be taking my business elsewhere.

I was shopping@ Giant Eagle today their meats look really good.

I go there only because its close to home. Almost every time I go to Giant Eagle something is missing when I get home. Today I was missing 2 bags of groceries that I had paid for. I think the checker started on the next customer before putting my final two bags up on the counter. This is very inconvenient because I had to go back to the store with my receipt to claim my items. When I am only missing one item I usually just forget about it, but two bags of groceries is too much to overlook. Poor customer service and failure to pay attention to detail!

Bought fried chicken from the hot bar. Really good chicken! Bought Cole slaw and potato wedges too. Delicious!

I needed help finding special items at Giant eagle. There was someone stocking shelves she helped me I dont remember her name. Then she ask another person to help with another item his name was Eddie. It had to do with a coupon. He told me if it didnt show up at the register to tell the cashier that he okayed the coupon. They both were a lot of help

Giant Eagle always has well stocked departments with both the basics and interesting items. The register can run a little slow. They give back to the local community, so please visit.

Nice grocery store but I still ended up going to Walmart to get everything I needed (or for a better price).

The store is great: clean, low prices, and they just added about a dozen sauces that make all my meals better [they are in the aisle with the salad dressing- [I think they are made by Campbells].

My family and I have been shopping here for about 8 years. The food and gas perks saves us tons! I used to work at the Getgo gas station(affiliated) on W patrick street for a year or two and it was also accommodating. I always buy cool and interesting foods from here and my friends that live in Gaithersburg are always asking me where Im getting these amazing deals and awesome food products and the answers always the same. Also in Frederick if ANYONE says they have Giant Eagle Chicken, you know ITS THE BOMB. I dont eat meat but that chicken smells amazing and all my friends and family absolutely love it. So if youre bringing chicken to the party.... make sure its that GIANT EAGLE CHICKEN!!

Im sure this is a great store but every time I come here I always have one problem or another. Last time I came here the machine wouldnt take the chip in my card and the lady got annoyed with me because she had to switch the system to allow it to take a swipe. Before that Ive had lines just not be open with staff walking around. I do come late in the evenings so that could be the issue but I never experience any of this at the 7th street Giant Eagle.
