Great stop to get lost in different maps and funky selections of well-preserved old papers. I enjoyed talking with Jim and he knew his selection well. Well priced and a man whose conservation is priceless. Must see for anyone who enjoys unique finds or history!
This shop has got be one of Frederick’s greatest hidden gems. Jim has an amazing collection of engraving prints and maps. There is something for everyone at his shop!
Whatever you want, Jim has it. History, fashion, literature and geography buffs will have the time of their lives exploring the engraving prints and maps and chatting with Jim.
As the great Martin Luther king once said Faith is taking the first step even when you cant see the whole staircase. This quote exempifies the map man buisness. There maps are so hot that they turn me on.
He’s open. Same great maps as always
Happened across this place today purely by chance, and was very happy that I did. The owner was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. Great selection of maps as well maps of all different parts of the world mostly from the 19th and early 20th century. Will definitely be going back sometime soon.
Jim was extremely nice and overall the maps seem fairly priced for their age. Most of his stuff seems to be from the early 1800s to early 1900s.
Great great shop, a Frederick gem.
