Variety is what comes to mind while visiting this antique mall in the heart of Caroline Street in Fredericksburg. Of course, some items appear to be of higher quality than others. There are quite a lot of different types of antiques, and probably there would be something available there to attract almost any collector’s attention. I liked looking at the various history related items, such as postcards and books. Fredericksburg definitely is a place to find history!
They have a very friendly staff with great customer service, as well as great prices. They followed the governors mask mandates, which has left antimaskers unhappy, and has caused them to leave false negative reviews. I will continue to tell people how much I love this antique shop and their wonderful staff to combat against the false reviews they are spreading.I want to thank all the wonderful employees at this antique mall for always being friendly to me and helping me with everything I need. This is by far the best antique store in the area, and I will always stop by here when Im in Fredericksburg.
I have taken my business to this Fredericksburg antique mall and clock shop for the past five years and today will be my lastI was exploring the lower level of the store and I happened to find a really good deal on these model train magazinesWhen I went to go pay for them I had to encounter with a VERY RUDE cashier and she asked me in a disrespectful way where I found those, I told her the booth number specifically what she asked for and then she told me where it was specificallyI was very kind to show her where I found the magazines and the price that was shown on the box for them tooWhen heading upstairs she called me out on it saying that I should have payed attention to where I found the magazines at specifically and she even accused me of not explaining where the items where properly even though I kindly told her where the booth number was, she even said that she didnt believe me about it too which I was very furious about itPaying for the magazines was very frustrating as I had my debit card but didnt have any cash on me and she was very annoyed and frustrated with meSo I had to make the minimum work for my debit card by buying 2 keychains which I think were very niceI came back to where the check out was and I explained to another lady about the situation that I encountered with and that same lady that called me out on the magazines came back and was able to help me out with the transactionAfter I played for what I purchased I could tell that the same lady that rung me up had enough with me and she was even happy to see my leaveI have NEVER encountered anything like this and after this experience I had I will not be returning to this antique mall again, and I hope none of you guys encounter the same experience as I did
Ive been nothing but impressed by all of the antique stores in Fredericksburg but the size and quality of this location are amazing. The thing that puts this one in another class is the friendliness of the staff who are always conscious of us and tried to help us at every turn but without badgering us about anything. Only found a few things to buy but doesnt mean there isnt a ton to choose from. I will come back many times as Im sure I can find tons here at a great price.
LOVE LOVE LOVE this shop! They have an amazing and eclectic selection from so many vendors in one place! The staff ladies are just pure Darlings! They even let me put a gorgeous crystal cross on hold for a small down payment on it and set it aside for me to come get at a later time! The crystal decanter I got from them for such a great price sparkled so brightly in their window it stopped me in my tracks and I have been in love with this shop and its lovely ladies since. They always remember me when I go and even take the time to help me find things when I have a specific need. Would Highly recommend this shop for any one. I would give them all the stars in the sky if I could.
Things, stuff, antiques, and treasures, there is a bit of everything. Fun to just walk around and look then do it again because there is more you missed.
Lovely store with some amazing items. Definitely recommend checking it out!
My Dad gave me an old electric clock from the 1940s; unfortunately it was broken. I took it to the Fredericksburg Antique Mall and Clock Shop. The problem was quickly diagnosed with my clock and I was given two repair estimates, based on the work that would be performed (chime or no chime). Since the parts to repair it were not available, I opted to have it converted into a battery powered clock. I am very pleased with the sound of the clock. It works great!
Great antique shop! Lots of merchandise and a great mix of items. I hate when these shops only have one type of thing (housewares, tools, etc), but theres a ton of variety.Downstairs they have vintage mechanical music players you can play for a quarter, so thats pretty unique. Theres also a clock repair shop downstairs as well.Friendly staff, reasonable prices, and overall a great experience!
Visited the Fredericksburg Antique Mall and Clock today. I was helped by an amazing employee named Teresa. She was professional and very pleasant. Every customer she helped was very happy. With a variety of Antique shops around, this place is a true gem with wonderful finds and incredible employees. Thank you Teresa for all your help and just simply being amazing!!!!
I was so disappointed to hear that a friend’s CHILD who is unable to wear a mask for medical reasons was discriminated against today. Barring her from shopping with her father (who had on a mask) is against the governor’s mandate, not to mention terrible to do to anyone, but especially a child. I’ll be taking my business elsewhere & encourage everyone else to do the same.
We liked the place, some great items, kinda pricey. The staff was cordiall, except one woman- Tall, slinder, short brown/black hair. She needs to learn how to communicate without anger and frustration.
This company is breaking the law not following the ADA. Then they are are removing the reviews where we post the truth of what happened. We wont stop re-posting, so you can stop trying. Now we will go to yelp and other platforms as well to make sure the truth is heard by the public. Instead of removing reviews why not reach out to the patrons and make it right? Thats not what this company is about.
Great place to visit. Friendly staff and a great selection of antiques. My wife and I will be back. Music machines were awesome!
The Antique Mall and Clock Shop is nice enough in terms of merchandise, but checking out always seems to be a major hassle. The clerks that I routinely see at the front desk spend much more time chatting with one another and fussing with their phones than dealing with the long lines that always seem to form at the front of the store. The process for ringing up even a small order takes forever for no apparent reason. I would visit more often if I didnt leave frustrated each and every time I stop in the store!
I am leaving a review specifically for the clock shop. I brought in a clock that was sadly damaged during a move. Steve R was able to fix the clock and it works and looks beautiful. I highly recommend getting your clock work done here. Steve R was not only knowledgeable but he is such a polite man and was able to tell me exactly how I needed to hang my clock along with maintenance. Thank you Steve.
Great place, good prices.
They could have better customer service. Two women attempted to help us, but were very rude and pushy for us to buy. The items are quite overpriced. Downtown there are tons of antique shops, and I recommend any others. Im not sure how they got voted best in the burg, as I wont shop there again. But if you like being heckled and have lots of money to spare check it out.
You can get lost in here for hours- such a wonderful, fascinating collection of historical items... The postcard and vintage photo section is a treasure unto itself. And the ladies behind the counter could not be sweeter or any more awesome... This antique mall should be a required stop for all visitors to the area and is just a gift to everyone who’s local...
Nice selection, friendly staff, great prices, pet friendly.Beautiful large building with two floors. The ladies working were so sweet and helpful! We will definitely be back. Thank you for the amazing experience for my family’s first visit to downtown Fredericksburg.
U need advice or help with finding information on my pendulum clock its value etc
Got my clock fixed here. There are two gentlemen here by the name of Steve and they are both wonderful.
Must wear mask when visiting stores due to State mandate. Sad the local government has overstepped their authority and fined local businesses with the mask (pun intended) of keeping people safe.
Very nice store. Great location for a day of antique shopping. Quality items.
5 stars all the way. Friendly staff, great selection, something for everyone and great prices, and wonderful clock restoration. Will be back soon
Great shop with huge variety of items. Friendly staff and good covid precautions in place
Very nice shopping here. I enjoyed myself. Had everything I was looking for an reasonably priced as well.
I am revising my original review. After having an unpleasant experience the first time around, we took the advice of the owner and went back for another chance. This one was much different where we were greeted with courtesy and nice demeanor, and even engaged in a nice conversation with the employees. We also ended up finding a few things, which I was happy to buy from this store, our second time around.
Very unique & interesting jewelry here for low prices! There are some real steals and some plastic junk, but my girlfriend and I ended up finding two pairs of very beautiful earrings for $5 total. The lady behind the counter is a real old Fredericksburg character and has a story or commentary for everything in the store. A truly strange experience
Great location. Has a lot of vendors available to look through. My wife loved the place and spent hours looking through.
Enjoyed walking through the store. Many interesting items. Worth your time to visit.
Great experience! Staff was knowledgeable and friendly. One of few places to offer restrooms to visitors and guests. My favorite antique shop in the ‘burg!
2 stories in amazing historic downtown fredericksburg. Good variety and a neat vlovk shop in the basement
This was an incredible trip, so many beautiful antiques. I highly recommend going here!
Steve repairs our 7th generation coach clock . Great service.

This store is a regular stop when in tow. Great selection.
Staff is rude and disrespectful
Great place 4 the oddish collectables and ask for Ms T aka the dog whisperer jejejeje
