Best afternoon tea EVER!The staff is fabulous and extremely kind. Will go there again for sure!
This is the best hotel Ive had the good fortune to visit. Its like living in a movie. The pool, the rooms, the onsen, the views, the architecture...everything is absolutely out of this world. The fabulous details are too numerous to list, quite simply I found this a sublime experience. If you like minimalism & great service then I believe you will enjoy a stay here.
A very beautiful place and has a beautiful view as well if viewed from the window
Best hotle I have ever staded at.
Aman Tokyo is surely one of the best hotel properties in Tokyo. Style is Japanese minimalistic and ultra modern. Building is stunning with a reception hall that is breathtaking. Rooms are spacious and well designed they all offer a remarkable view of the city. Ours had a large bedroom with a sitting area and a spacious sitting room with a guest bathroom. Overall a lot of space! Main bathroom has underfloor heating and a nice arrangement of the shower and the bath tub in front of a great window view. Everything there was immaculately presented. Very nice gym and large swimming pool. Breakfast room was a nice area in the main reception, enjoying a lot of natural light and a great feeling of space. Breakfast service however was painfully slow, sometimes unacceptably so. Otherwise the team was ver responsive to our demands.
Very good food quality and service.
The best 5 star experience of my entire life....this place is on its own level that every other hotel company should strive to obtain. The Aman Tokyo has given me an entirely new outlook on Hospitality; studied hospitality in school and still never knew anything like this place existed. When I dream of heaven, I think of Aman hotels! Spacious, quiet, clean & breathtaking. Thank you for the wonderful experience, I am dying to come back :)
For a city which is known to have small spaces - when greeted by the expansive lobby area you cant help but feel so overwhelmed by the incredible architecture and textures. Stopped by for high tea and would highly recommend including a stopover here with friends or family. Remember to book online before hand.
Love the italian food!
We stayed at the Aman Tokyo’s for three nights last month and everything was amazing. When we checked in we were told that we would not need a reservation for dinner after a long flight. Later that evening we arrived to a packed restaurant with nothing available. The manager, Imre, set us up in our own private dinning area with private service. The meal was great and so was the rest of our stay. The pool is 30 floors up and over looks the city. The hotel is beautiful and the staff and service is excellent. Definitely a five star hotel.
Gorgeous rooms that are minimalist and quaint. Every attention to detail is just perfect. The spa and gym facilities are also phenomenal.
Easily the most stunning urban hotel Ive ever been to. The interior is perfectly appointed and the view is one of the best in all of Tokyo. The rooms are surprisingly very large, and the shower and traditional Japanese bath are perfect. The staff is very friendly and attentive, a very nice touch. The food at the restaurant is classic Italian, and both breakfast and dinner were very nice.
Ill start by saying my most important point: this is by far the nicest hotel Ive ever stayed at. Ive stayed at many five star hotels, for reference in comparison, including the Ritz in Singapore, the Savoy in London, two resorts in Maldives and so on but they do not compare. The room was beautiful and the service was impeccable. One person was more helpful than the next. The man who brought me the iron helped me figure out how to iron a wool dress and I was so appreciative. The room service food was delicious. The spa was very relaxing as well. But most importantly, my little sister got sick by the end and Tomoko, the GM and the ladies at the front desk went above and beyond- found a doctor, booked an appointment, drove us there and let us take our time on checkout. Theres nothing more to say than I am so impressed. Everyone was asking how my sister was doing and I am so appreciative. My friend sister and I were originally going to stay at the Ritz and the price went up disproportionately to the quality of the room so we decided to stay here and it was a blessing. Thank you again to everyone at Aman for an amazing stay.
Amazing lobby BUT sadly that all you get. Their high tea, coffee served lukewarm, the food must have been at least two days all. Dont waste your money here
Great escape spot from the busy Tokyo scene. The afternoon tea and bars are highly recommended. The restaurant, the food wasnt as outstanding - but I had Italian and maybe I should have tried Japanese. I still like this place for mindfulness in Tokyo.
Some of the best money can buy in Tokyo. Their afternoon tea set is unrivaled in the city. Delicious, well-executed and served in that black Aman Tokyo bamboo tray. Seasonal and always changing using ingredients on hand. Reflecting the big themes of the year (Halloween, Christmas, sakura season, Fall, etc).Japanese Breakfast could use a softer fish and more variety. Western selections are a delight but can take a while to arrive.Spa facilities are unrivaled as well. Whisper quiet and you usually have them to yourself.Rooms are your Aman standard. Well-equipped but very austere. Theyve been done in a Japanese wood zen style so anyone expecting luxury full length soaking tubs or Old World design should look else where. The service is better but not SE Asian perfect or friendly. Management needs to become more interactive with guests and stop relying on cookie cutter responses in replying to guests concerns. No Aman general manager worth their salt would cut and paste something and send it by regular mail to a guest.
Beautiful hotel, with interesting room layouts. The bathtubs come with a great view of the city. I think this hotel is a chic enjoyable way to enjoy the city Aman style for couples on the go. Might not be best for families with kids, as most tourist attractions arent really nearby. The hotel does have one of the most awesome lobbies Ive ever seen. It looks you are inside a giant Japanese lantern! The view in the lobby is awesome.
The service at the Lounge for afternoon tea was nothing close to what was said by those Aman junkies. Everything is well, but its just far from top notch. The wait time for the food was long, they didnt come and check on my empty cup of latte and the staff just whizzed by, trying to avoid you.
The best hotel in Tokyo. However the area is a commercial area. The choice for shopping and restaurants are very limited. You can walk to Tokyo station and it will give you more choice. The hotel itself is nice with a very good view. So overall is a very good staying.
The lobby is ridiculously high end. If you want to enjoy a drink at a bar and happen to find yourself in Marunouchi area, I dont think there is a better place to go. However, if you end up ordering extras like bottled water etc it can add up very quickly. If you only order just one drink (or coffee) it is OK but if not careful you can end up paying 50 USD per person or more. Dinner is good value if you stick to the basics and dont go overboard. I have not stayed there but I expect the experience to be excellent.
The location of the Hotel is very good, subway station is nearby and Tokyo JR station is only 5-10 mins by walk. Room may be the biggest in town, and the bed is the best. you can also enjoy the big hot tub in bathroom. Breakfast is not bad, but also not so special ( compared to Shangri-la or Palace hotel tokyo )
Stayed here for roughly a week and this is truly a fantastic hotel. The Aman chain is one of the best and out of the 6/7 Ive been too this one is the best.- Large rooms, bathrooms with a traditional bath and right by the window.- The main bar is a must visit for a cocktail overlooking the Tokyo city scape.- The pool is something that has to be seen to be believed, an infinity pool at the top of a sky scraper with views all round - speaks for itself.- The central location is great for seeing the city by foot with the ginza whopping district a short walk away. Very easy to catch a train to the rest of the city.
This place blew me away, I have been to many 5 and 7 star hotels around the world but this one is special. Amazing views of Tokyo, great exclusive location, amazing architecture and faultless service. You do pay for it but its one of the best things we did on our 15 day trip to Japan. Not to be missed. Save it for the last night.
Lives up to the hype.Service is exceptional, location is very handy, most of central Tokyo is just 15 mins away.If I’m being miserable the food wasn’t actually that fabulous, it’s good but we had much better food out in the city. I have to admit they only had the Italian restaurant open during our stay (Musashi was closed)The main Onsen is incredible and essentially could not be better, it was a godsend for dealing with jet lag.
We came for an evening meal at The Lounge bar. Its was a set menu of appetisers with free flowing wine. The appetiser stand was a very small serving of food per person, and the free flowing wine was only that, when you asked for a top up. It was definitely not a cheap night, which being an Aman, it was expected. However, it was also expected that the service would be significantly better than it was. Having to repeatedly ask for water and wine top ups was unexpected, and bordered on ridiculous. The view is amazing though, so its probably worth a visit, even if for one drink or a small bite to eat.
I have travelled extensively all over the world: this hotel is unconditionally the best hotel I have ever stayed at. The breakfast was so wonderful and very Western when you really need to take a break from the Japanese food. Rooms are spacious. A very comfortable day bed sits underneath.
A breathtaking view from the bar/lounge area. The lounge seemed to be busy with afternoon tea guests but we got a seat in the bar area easily. Much nicer than the bar at Park Hyatt which is now full of tourists who dont know how to dress or behave in places like these.
According to the pool at the spa, It has 1.5 meter in depth. There are not so many guests that you can enjoy full space of swimming pool. From the view of Aman suite at the corner space of the building, you can enjoy the imperial palace in western direction. You can also see northern direction that there are many buildings with under construction. If you have a in room diner, I highly recommend you to have Italian foods.
Superb hotel, food amazing, service amazing, bedrooms fantastic, just be prepared for a £2000.00 deposite to be taken from your credit card on check in!
Nice hotel, luxury hotel, friendly staff
We had a nice stay here. The bathroom is a large area including double stone sinks and depending on your room size a large or VERY large stone tub. Breakfast while gazing at Mount Fuji and a deep bath while looking out over the night-time Tokyo skyline cannot be described. Comfortable beds but you can have all this and more in any Tokyo hotel for half the price.
A*** Tokyo is a very luxurious Hotel. The surrounding deck area is equipped with large beds to relax on. Limousine bus from Narita airport would alight you straight at the hotel which is a plus(we had a lot of baggages) a taxi wouldnt even be enough to accommodate all our luggage. The A*** team were extremely friendly and helpful.
Location wise its very convenient being just above the Otemachi station which has ***y connections to key locations in Tokyo. The predominant colors are gray slate and light woods, in sleek, ultra contemporary designs that display dramatic whimsy with extraordinarily effective restraint. Thank you for making our trip very memorable.
I have stayed in different hotels in Tokyo and Aman (as usual) is so far the best one.The staff has eye for detail, they are attentive and kind. The facilities are incredibly confortable, luxurious and zen - the place has an incredible good energy !Also, it is important to mention that my experience was improved thanks to Asako - she is sincerely kind, friendly, efficient and made me feel like home. She is one of the best hotel employees that I have ever met in my whole life (and well, I can say I have already met so so many...) .Ps. If you are staying at Aman Tokyo, please, enjoy the great view from the pool (the greatest in Tokyo).
The A*** Tokyo has the best rooms in the city. I see that the staff were polite and passionate. The location is convenient yet somewhat off the grid so there is a sense of privacy unusual for its business district location. We really enjoyed our stay at A*** Tokyo and would definitely comeback if weve a chance.
One of my favourite hotel in the world! Comfortable room and professional service. They accidentally broke one of my serum bottle during housekeeping, but they took the initiative immediately to replace or find a similar product for me. (And theres Matcha bagel for breakfast!)
The ambiance is great! Highly tranquil and elegant
Best design of all the 5-star hotels in Tokyo. Great location too. The level of service is hit-or-miss which is a shame given the price.
The hotel is a short walk from Tokyo Station and can be accessed completely underground. The room was very large by any standard (70sq m) and the space was put to excellent use. The service is top of the line and the restaurant is imaginative while catering to individual requests.
Cut to the chase: this is the hotel I most look forward to re-visiting, in the world. The location of the hotel was great. The facility is world class. I recommend to get an outside training company (preferably American) and train all of the staff in a very intensified training course.
Great location. Bautiful view of the Tokyo cityscape at night from the lounge. World-class service paired with elegant design.
It is indeed a nice place and I enjoyed the quiet pool. But I would expect a bit more from a hotel with this price. I asked the staff to keep my luggage with the concierge. They mentioned okay, but didn’t give me a claim ticket. I thought it is okay, as it is Aman. I asked the front desk staff to prepare taxi for us at 5PM and told them we have luggage with the concierge. But when I went down to the front door, the staff there didin’t know that we had pre-arranged taxi and thought we want to get taxi. And the luggage wasn’t ready to put onto the taxi, and the staff even asked us if we have a claim ticket. This is not the service I would expect from Aman. I thought they recognize their guests and have clear communication among all areas of the staff.
This isnt the most exciting part of town and dont expect a very vibrant lobby bar scene but wow its an amazing hotel. If you can swing the price, stay here! That being said, I recommend moving for a portion of your visit so you can be somewhere a bit more vibrant and not miss the fun side of tokyo.
Stayed there for 3 days. I enjoyed so much with my boyfriend 👸 thank you for the incredible hospitality 💎
I had always thought A***+Japan was the most perfect combination possible ever and Ive recently decided to give a try to ensure I was right. Usually, I stay at the Peninsula as I love its location and service. The Peninsulas location cant be beat. Very close to Tokyo station.
Stayed here several times (both business and pleasure) and without doubt it is one of the best hotels in the world and the best hotel in Tokyo.
Best hotel in Tokyo. Refined and simple traditional design, top notch service and great location coupled with amazing views of Tokyo and Imperial Gardens. A relaxation heaven for Spa enthusiasts.
If you are ever in japan, consider this hotel. Not only is it really nice, it allowed us to be right next to the station and we had such an easy time getting on and off any trains to visit the entire island of japan.
BEAUTIFUL IN EVERY WAY We got lucky and found that A*** was opening a property in Tokyo right when my girlfriend and I were going to be there. Service is very good too with typical Japanese graciousness. The staff were kind but were struggling with figuring out exactly what to do, maybe they will improve with time.
Nice place, great food, staff not so good
Im a regular traveller to Japan for family holiday and have stayed at many hotel around Tokyo. All of them provides great customer service but AMAN Tokyo was one step above the rest. First the lobby was huge and has one of the best design I have seen. High ceiling made out of Washi paper was a highlight. The room we stayed at was on 36th floor and we can see Mt Fuji from the floor to ceiling windows and it was a delight. As was the in room tub.But the most impressive thing about AMAN is not the decor or the rooms. Its the people that makes the biggest difference. I was serviced but a lovely lady named Miki Inayoshi. She was so polite and helpful with every need my family has requested. The most amazing about her customer care skills was when we left the hotel and arrived back home in Sydney. We realised that we left a pair of snow shoes we have purchased at a Shibuya ramen restaurant. We called Miki and she contacted the restaurant and got the new shoes from them. With the assistance of Tomoko Yagi (General Manager AMAN Tokyo) they sent it to my home in Sydney. NOW thats service at the highest level. I thank both Miki and Tomoko for their tireless efforts and definitely will be returning to AMAN Tokyo whenever Im in Tokyo again.Great team and Thank you from the bottom of my heart!Joe W
Probably the best hotel I have ever been in terms of service and environment
One of the best hôtel in Tokyo. You will be charmed.Wonderfull view at the 33th floor.
We loved loved loved the A***. Few days before our arrival, we received email confirming the reservation and offered concierge service and transport advice. An experience well worth while as you glean a lot of information and stop at out of the way coffee houses and see some great architectural pieces.
Beautiful hotel to stay. Perfect service. And best afternoon tea ever.
Very charming place in the middle of a busy Tokyo.Everything at Aman is perfect, from staff to design to food and service! Their restaurant Arva as beautiful view of Tokyo, you can enjoy well made Italian food with an amazing wine selection. We tried the lamb chop which were beautifully cooked, the lobster delicous flavour and rosemary potato.I definitly recommand this place to anyone who love food!
Lovely rooms and service is excellent. The pool is my absolute favorite
Top notch hotel. Spa booked up quite early so do it asap
😊😊Crazy in the best of ways, Tokyo is the world’s most unique and fascinating city. The Japanese capital will seduce you the second you step inside it, gracefully bringing together the ancient tradition of the past with the modern advancement of the present. Whether you’re a seasoned foodie or just hungry, Tokyo’s cuisine will exceed even your wildest expectations. Tokyo is unlike any city in the world; no matter how well traveled you are, you’ll be instantly enamored with the Japanese capital.
The treatmeant and service are great. I enjoyed the special afternoon tea time.
You can never go wrong with Aman..suite room is gorgeous. Perfect location next to Tokyo station.
Love my experience! Thank you !
Very nice modern spacious design. Staff is very welcoming too.
Design
Nice view, nice ambiance, nice live Jazz, overpriced but mediocre drinks. 2300 JPY for a Moscow Mule, which was actually nothing more than a vodka-gingerale with too much ice. With this kind of ambiance, location and view, Id have no problem paying 2500 yen for a properly made cocktail. But when youre paying for a premium experience, all aspects of the experience should be premium.
Just my new favorite hotel in Tokyo. Peace in the middle of the city
Even center of tokyo this hotel has good atomsphere seems middle of forest. We just visit cafe but spend relax time.
Great relaxed and calming atmosphere! Was perfect personalized experience for our honeymoon!
