I absolutely love this grocery store. I go there every time I visit Fredericksburg, and Im always impressed by the low prices and interesting selection of food. Occasionally there are some really cool things in the center as well, like clothing or outdoor gear and equipment. Wish there was a lidl in WV!

Very happy with the look and selection of this lidl. My first visit to a lidl store was in Centreville, VA and it did not leave a great first impression and I actually avoided the stores afterward. I am happy that I gave it another chance. Now, I am adding this place to my list of grocery stores! Picked up this great storage bench. Its smaller than i imagined but still will get lots of use.

I shop here often, employees are helpful and this location is fairly clean. Lines can be long at times but usually Im still able to get what I need and be out. I see they are also bringing in more name brand items

First time Ive been in this store but I loved it and great prices friendly people

The building was built about a year ago and sat there and they finally opened on Thursday 15 February 2018 with a grand opening, I missed that but got there on Friday. The store is well stocked with many major name brands and the Lidl store brand which are priced comparable to other stores in the area. The isles are wide enough that there should be no traffic jams with the shopping carts. I talked to some of the staff and they were very friendly and that is a good enough reason to go shopping at Lidl.

Fantastic selection and prices. Eating a lot healthier since moving to VA since discovering this store as vegetable and fruit prices let even those on fixed incomes enjoy the variety.

The prices here are good but you do need to check from time to time especially when it comes to their produce and their bakery sections. They have a self checkout area. In the morning when I go in there the main problem I have is theres only one cashier and the self-checkouts are down till about 10 or 11 somewhere between there so if youre in a hurry come after that time frame.

Great building, clean store, but prices were way higher than Aldis. The selection was not as grand as I expected and couldnt get any help.

I like shopping at Lidl because they only have like 1 or 2 choices of different items and its pretty cheap. Can usually get our shopping for the week done in under 30 mins. They have a great little bakery too.

Very good bakery for breads and common pastries. Usually has some good deals on ptoduce . Competative prices on most other items.

This is one of the best grocery stores. Always well stocked with fresh fruit & vegetables, a bakery with fresh made items, and always low prices. I go here rather than any of the other grocery chains. The store reflects its operation which is highly respected in Europe. It started in Germany.

Clean, well stocked store. Not a whole lot of selection on all products but all of the basics are covered and there are always things you wont find anywhere else. GREAT prices!

If you’re expecting normal service from a grocery store (like self checkout or people checking to see if you need bags), Lidl isn’t going to deliver.

I love lidl and aldi. i find i dont need to go to a big box grocery store nearly as often going to lidl as opposed to aldi (4 stars). great produce and bakery selections. sometimes getting checked out can be an excersize in patience but this is the grocery store i choose to go to.

It’s good at what it does. I won’t make this my default grocery store, but good for picking up essentials when needed.

This is now my one of my favorite markets. I purchased a really great cast iron enameled pot.Ive used it for now for about a couple weeks and I wish I would have bought another.

Lidl is normally my go to store, but lately prices have gone up and quality down. I never see anyone cleaning, last time there was nothing available to clean the cart with. In this day and age I try VERY hard to protect myself and expect merchants to do their part to protect customers. Guess I have to stick with WalMart pickup. Sorry Lidl.

Our family shop there for the first time since they opened in this Fredericksburg location. Coz my friend told me they have nice stuff. Store look great and clean. If not for these staff who was chatting next to me about I was taking pictures in the store being very weird I would be giving a five star. Nothing wrong with the store, u bring ur own bags or you can pay for your bags for the groceries you got. Learned that today of course. We had fun

I dont give many 5 stars, but this place deserved it. opening weekend and the store wasnt trashed even with a ton of people going through it. food categories were properly grouped together and the store was laid out in an inviting way that draws you into it. plenty of organic options and selection of other items. staff were friendly.

First time at this location. Very nice place. The bakery is right at the front when you walk in... So dont go shopping on an empty stomach!Isles were wide, orderly, and well-maintained. The store is very bright and friendly. And the prices are great.

My first visit to a Lidl. Walked into the store to the aroma of fresh baked cookies. Unbelievable low prices (very low) and a great selection of products. Ill be back for another visit soon.

Love the prices. Disappointed when sale items are sold out before you get there. They need to limit sales or stock more. Several times have gone on day of sale item gone before middle of same day of sale.Whats up with the handicap carts most of the time dead needing charged? Love shopping at Lidl. Lots of new and different foods to chose from. Its good to break up the manotany you can get stuck in when it comes to food choices and Lidl makes it easy.

Cant use cash or EBT card @ self check-out. It was a very busy Saturday with long lines for check-out, but only THREE lanes were open. Ridiculous to have to wait when purchasing only a few items. A friend wanted a ride there, but Ill avoid for myself in future.

They are a much bigger store the Aldi with a bakery, no deli inside, there prices are at moderate level. They sell beer and wine.If you are looking for something paticular like I was (partchment paper, pinion nuts, some baking items. You will not find it there. Since they are new maybe it was not stocked. But they get new stuff all the time. The yellow bag of potatoes was real good. Multi colored carrots. What I really like is the location no needcto get stuck in traffic lights from my location . Turn right and its on the right side of road.

Disappointing. Read their sales paper found nothing when I got there. Bread was 79 cent that was good but nothing else. The store was not very organized. Then they were closing g at 6 pm. I wont be back. I can get just as good or better deals at Walmart or Weis or even Aldi. I was really disappointed and it was my first time shopping there too.

The homemade rosemary bread is absolutely amazing. While this store is always full, its also affordable! Weve never bought anything from Lidl we didnt like!

Would give it 4 stars but not. Because they dont let you pay with cash in express line so when crowded to use cash you are forced to wait in regular line behind long line of people and if rushed for time to get somewhere else you end up late.

Cheap and affordable

I love this store. I practically live here. The produce is inexpensive and fresh, Lidl brand food items are of good quality, and the work staff are helpful and polite. This place definitely earns five stars in my book.

This is by far my favorite super market for groceries. We shop there every week. The prices are really good without sacrificing on quality. Love the European goodies (chocolate, cheese, etc)As of a few months to now... they could improve their check out process and be more vigilant about long lines. Sometimes there is only one cashier with a long queue.Their avocadoes are really good and super well priced. Their produce is well sourced and fresh. Love the plants throughout the year.

Lidl is great! Great prices and its a nice neighborhood grocery. I love 90%if the Lidle brand foods offered! They also have standard brands . They have great kids toys and seasonal offerings! We do almost all of our grocery shopping here!

I can actually get groceries for $100 here, not just 4 items.

Product selection and prices are great. The staffing is lean, maybe to keep costs low. Good luck finding help if you need it, but they have gotten a little better since opening. Also good luck finding the specials in the weekly ad, theres no rhyme or reason of where theyre placed in the store. They also need another cart return on the side of the store closest to the traffic light, most people just shove their carts by the bike rack.

It was good except that it was the end of the night and I went through the self-checkout. And I had to wait until somebody came over to confirm my purchase before I could get my receipt and leave.

Register three is now closing!Prices are good. Also, any review right now that doesnt discuss sanitation is incomplete. Employees seem to be trying to do all they can be expected to do now, customers dont know how to keep their nose in their mask.

Great prices!

Store is nice, and generally pretty clean. Layout can be a little confusing unless you know exactly where a particular item youre looking for is located. I will say Im a bit disappointed in their selections of Gluten Free items. While they do carry some, it simply isnt as many or as varied as other stores in the area. Check their circular as they usually have some really good deals, but keep an eye on the register because those deals dont always come off at checkout.

We got our baby girl her Gerber baby foods like normal only to find out hours after she had some that a recall was issued for high levels of heavymetals! WHY ARE THEY STILL BEING SOLD! I tryed to call the store to let them know of the recall but only got an automated system.

You can find good stuff at good prices, it is inconsistent, and check out gets hectic if youre solo. slow traffic light exiting as well.

All top end products... just repackaged under their brand name... I have never been disappointed... just surprised ! A great many of their products absolutely can stand toe-to-toe with the higher end markets out there...I truly, without any reservations recommend LIDL.

The self checkout is ridiculously touchy sometimes. And there isnt a dedicated employee to monitor the self checkout registers. So you have to wait for someone to come from the sales floor to help you.Prices and variety of product are good.
