Last year I reached out to Awning Design Inc. to get new awnings for our house at the shore. Mark was on-time. Brought fabric/color samples/booklets - he talked me through different options, pricing, installation, etc. We made the deposit on the spot because we felt so comfortable with Mark and his knowledge. There is also a Danielle who answers the phone and she is the sweet, bubbly, helpful and loved chatting with her. We ordered our awnings during the summer so we knew that we would have to wait out the winter before installing them. I was honestly a little nervous this spring when it was time to reach out to them for installation because I already paid a big deposit and we are in the middle of a pandemic so I figured they would dodge me but no, instead they answered their phones right away, answered my questions easily, scheduled installation, arrived quickly and on time, sent me pictures via text as I requested and they agreed (we are quarantined in a different state for the time being so werent even home when they did the installation) They didnt charge me until they knew I was happy with the outcome via photos and even called to confirm they had the right card on file. There are a few things that make a good company 1) answer phones quickly, be friendly and answer questions appropriately 2) do what you say you are going to do 3) deliver on-time and neatly and I had this exact experience so I hope they do this for every one of their customers because I was THRILLED with them and want everybody who reads this to have the same experience with their service. We already cant wait to order one of their electronic awnings to cover our backpack for next summer! My husband and I truly keep looking at these pictures and because of Mark and his team we are so excited to get back to the Jersey Shore and enjoy our beautiful home when its safe to do so...we cant thank them enough for their communication and we have already told our neighbors all about them!

Purchased a custom size 20 foot awning for the backyard and had the option to choose from 100+ different fabric designs. Overall very happy with their service and end product. Installation went smoothy and our new awning looks great.

Mark, the installers and the office stuff are amazing. I love my new awning. Mark helped us picking the best solution and he delivered as he promised. The office stuff kept us informed with the process of the order and the scheduling of our installation. the installers are so professionals, very clean and i am so thankful. You guys are the BEST.

Order awning on 4/13/21 and still waiting for it was told other people need it before me because I have one up already it has a hole in it that is why I Order a new one.Don’t order one if you have one up you might get it up in the fall when everyone that don’t have one gets it first. That is poor business.If I don’t need I wouldn’t have order it and I place early so I have it in the summer not the winter. Still waiting and it’s JULY. Never do business with is company again.

Very happy! We inherited an awning from a friend. Awning Design took it down from their house, installed it on ours. The whole process was seamless. The installers were incredible! We love our awning!

All I can tell you is I am so happy with my Awning from start to finish it has been an incredible transaction I cannot wait till Mark and his team does my second Awning on the other part of my home. This is the second year Ive contacted Awning Design for a problem and I am absolutely disgusted with them!!!Last year, we had a broken awning arm which needed repair. I contacted and sent an email w/a picture as instructed. They never got back to me even after several follow up calls and emails. Finally spoke to Mark who was very rude and didnt seem to care about my frustration. We had words and he tried to make things better by installing the new arm at n/c.Now, my center support belt tore and its been ONE MONTH since I wrote, called and left messages for someone to at least have the common courtesy to return my call. NOTHING!!!!Awning Design doesnt seem to care and Im boldly calling them out on this. They only post positive reviews on their site. BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!!!!

I just wanted to take the time to express how pleased my husband and I are that we chose Awning Design to construct our awning and drapes.I met with Mark who went over color options for both the awning and the drapes.Ian and his team came and did a spectacular job measuring and installing the frame, which was bolted into our house, then cemented into the ground outside of our deck.He actually helped design the entryway onto the deck, and made great suggestions so the vision I had in my head would become a reality once the job was completed.Ian took his time measuring and making sure everything was 100% perfect. The result was wonderful and we look forward to the installation every year!I know it sounds like I am gushing about Ian; I guess I am. He is face of the company and provides exceptional customer service. He even went as far as to take a trip himself to our home when there was a recent question regarding a drape installation.He even made made some adjustments so our drapes hang better, and moved a shade for us to a better spot.A true professional and really nice person.Robin the the office is great as well, making it easy to schedule take down in the fall and installation in the spring.Thank you again and keep up the great work!Amelia and Michael AlberoWestfield, NJ

Ive been a customer for a couple of years and the company does great work with the canopy. My only complaint is that twice a year whenever I call, it takes leaving more than 2 messages for someone to call me back. Im sure it would not be appreciated if it took them leaving messages on my voicemail if I didnt pay my bill.
