Stopped here today as they are frequently mentioned on NJ Gluten Free sites as being great. So happy I did!Staff was friendly and very helpful. They totally understand celiac/gluten free and have a separate prep area. The donuts are delicious, and very fresh. I will definitely be back!

Drove 35 minutes for a dozen donuts from this place, staff was friendly and the place seemed inviting. Unfortunately, these donuts failed to meet reasonable expectations. After sampling a variety of their product from a simple glaze to a blueberry cake donut with Nutella topping, these treats were neither hot nor fresh and were seriously lacking in size(3in. diameter) and flavor :(. After dropping $28 on 12 donuts, I feel as though I’ve been led astray, whether by the reviews on here or the establishment itself. Betrayal.

Honestly, we got a dozen donuts and it totaled like $27. I got the route 33 donut and it wasn’t really good, had little flavor to it. The chai town donut was ok, but not great. Out of everything we got the only good thing was the little crossiants which we actually tasty. I would not go back, the staff was fine but I’d much rather go to Dunkin’ if I wanted average donuts. The donuts look better than they taste. If you want actually good gourmet donuts then go elsewhere.

The staff was very friendly. They have a wide variety of donuts. They make the donuts while you wait. I got 3 different types, The Monmouth, Mulberry Street, and Jelly, and thought all three were great. I will definitely be coming back next time I am in the area.

Pricing is a bit confusing, but photos and display of items help give a picture of what you are getting. Love the open feel and decor of the place with reclaimed wood tables and furniture (looks like a dressed up barn) but donuts are well worth it. Staff were friendly, patient, and helpful and you can see them making the donuts. Unique flavors and what more can I say, but fresh donuts!!!!!

I ordered a custom box of 28 donuts for my daughter’s 10th birthday and they were absolutely stunning and delicious. I was able to leave a photo of the color scheme we wanted and they could not have turned out more perfect. They were such a hit and we will definitely order again!

I wanted to try this place because it had vegan options for donuts. I walked in and this place is pretty clean and put together. I liked the set up of the bakery style. There were quite a few people in there but the wait wasnt long at all. The servers were on the move in there and they served me fast. I ordered a vegan donut and it was very good. I cant wait to go back and try more.

I appreciate the large selection of tasty Vegan and Gluten Free Donuts. The staff is friendly and helpful. My only criticism is that the Smores Galore Donut is listed as vegan, but it isnt. The marshmallows have fish gelatin. Establishments that provide vegan and gluten free products should ensure menu items are listed and described accurately for people with allergies and ethical concerns.

This location is great. The staff are friendly and the establishment is always clean. The donuts themselves are freshly made everyday and they are delicious! I always enjoy trying the plain donut to really taste the product and their donuts arent dry at all. The toppings themselves are unique and arent over the top either. During our last visit, we were able to get nine donuts in a single box and their donuts are roughly 1/2-1 in. smaller in diameter compared to lets say a donut from Dunkin. Theyre small donuts, but they pack a punch!

Wow! Was in amazment immediately upon entering. Not only was every single donut a work of art, they were delicious too! This was our 1st visit. Planned on getting a half doz. The woman at the counter explained everything and walked us through the menu. We stepped aside to pick out our perfect mix. We simply couldnt choose just 6. We ended up making the executive decision to try EVERYTHING on the menu. We proudly went up and asked for 2 of everything on the menu. The woman says, thats 7 dozen!. Welp, then 7 dozen it is. The thing is, these donuts make you feel like a kid again. A kid with adult money to burn lol .the staff was so friendly and inviting. They took great care of us. We will be back for sure.

I came here yesterday because of all the fantastic pictures I saw on Instagram. This donut shop is so cute and the names they have for the donuts is even cuter. The prices though are a bit high for the size of donuts you receive. I thought they would have been a bit larger. Overall, the shop is very clean, they mandate masks/social distancing, the staff is friendly and the donuts are fresh and very tasty. I will definitely come back the next time I am in the area.

Would not go again, you can get a better fresher product at duck donuts 💯. . got a box of overpriced donuts. Not fresh, and there was ants (3) in the box and hair on one donut. Lol. Im not even kidding., I did eat one even despite all that because I drove a half HR and spent $20 on a small box, and it was ehh. Very cakey and think and dry, and not fresh. . Just dont waist your time or money. Duck donuts is 💯 better hot fresh and better value 🤷🏻‍♀️

Found this place while i was visiting NJ. Went in there and you will welcome with the fresh donut smell and they have so many different kinds there in the display. As i had a barber appointment so went in there to get a coffee and then ordered a donut. The minute i tried the donut i killed the whole thing in less than a minute and I regretted that why did i order only one and wish i could have ordered more. Due to time constraint I couldn’t go back as i had to attend an event. Well long story short, I highly recommend this shop for fresh donuts and would go back there to visit them. Team who was working there was also very helpful and awesome. Thanks and kudos to the owner and team.

Gourmet doughnuts at about $0.40 - $1.00 compared to the cost from Dunkin Donut™. They have everything from “Old School” to the high end “A Little Extra.” The question is, “is it worth it?” My answer is a resounding YES if compared to DD™.During COVID-19 times I get a bit squeamish about going to new places. My biggest concern is, “how will they handle things during these crazy times?” Upon entering, I was greeted by a greeter who keeps things from getting chaotic. They will direct you accordingly, who’s available at which register if ordering or if you are picking up, which cashier will be assisting you. Counters and charge machines were constantly being sprayed and wiped. Piles and piles of delicious cookies and doughnuts were neatly piled high on the tables to the right, as you enter in. The customers were orderly and all careful as we stood 6’ apart. I was very please and proceeded with my order.On Christmas eve, I decided to celebrate hubby’s birthday a little differently. Instead of getting a huge cake only to have another one on Christmas Day, I decided to try Broad Street Donuts so hubby could get a variety. The day I went, they had decorated ones for Christmas and the regular Old School, BSDC Specialities, Daily Specials Galore, and of course, their famous, “A Little Extra” doughnuts. The more you order, the cheaper it goes. A box of six will set you back $9.99. You can choose anything you would like and they will adjust the cost accordingly should you decide to order from their “A Little Extra.” There is also Vlugen which is gluten-free, dairy-free, and pareve. I order their decorated ones for the holidays plus some additional old favorites: S’mores Galore, Mulberry Street, and the beloved West Park. My guys loved it but they were exceptionally too sweet for me. It’s a matter of taste. Not only are their fillings sweet, so are the doughnuts, themselves. My guys agreed to that and they are the ones with the sweet-tooth.

Maybe the best donut I’ve ever had and the cold brew coffee is no joke.

The BEST 🍩 s EVER with the BEST staff. I called the other day with a small request to make a certain color donut. I didn’t know how it would be received because I’ve called places before that make me feel stupid for making a small request. But not BSDC! The woman who took my order encouraged me and assured me it was a simple task. I have been coming here for years and will continue to rant and rave about BSDC to anyone who will listen. I will never go there again. The cashier asked me to raise my mask above my nose and I explained I have a breathing issue. She then tried to explain to me I had to. I then explained that medical guidelines allow me to wear that due to a medical condition. They then asked me to leave. I had my 9year son which had his mask covering his nose and now will have to explain to him ignorance.

Super decadent. I devoured the West Park donut. The cinnamon sugar one reminded me of the one you can get in the fall at battleview orchards. Come if youre craving that special indulgence. The donuts themselves are on the smaller side, but they have substance. (I will probably need to eat a salad later to balance everything out.)

Im sorry, but I do-nut see the attraction here. The donuts are, for the most part, all the same base with a different topping. They are not terrible, just overhyped in my opinion......and they aint cheap either.

If you are addicted to sugar, youll love this place. If you like balanced flavors that dont punch you in the face, then you wont like it. My Vlugen choice: the Shrewsbury Fields donut was tasty. The actual cake part was good alone. The icing was grainy, way too sweet, and runny. Specialty choices: the red velvet had a weird after taste. The cream cheese icing on top was messy and was the cause of the weird aftertaste. The cake part was a little crunchy from the cinnamon topping but couldnt stand on its own. Just not enough flavor. The chocolate with choc mousse and brownie crumble was the best of the three. Still very messy but not overly sweet. The flavors balanced really well. The brownie topping seems to have no sweetner. The mousse is light and fluffy but there is a lot of it. The cake part also is not good on its own. But the combined confection rates at least 4 stars. Loss of stars due to the first 2 donuts. They were not worth the hefty price. $10 for 3 donuts... I want to be wowed.

I just left this place after 45 minutes waiting. I understand it is Halloween and a Saturday so I know there is going to be a wait (which is fine). I was in line with my brother, he ordered right before me. So I assumed my order was next since we ordered at the same time. But then 15min. pass by and people who were behind us kept getting their order before me. After the second person who I know came in after us, I asked politely about my order. The lady who I asked couldnt find my order which is only 4 donuts, looked around then she said it should be out soon. I told her that I have been waiting for 45 minutes and that my brother who I came with got his 15 minutes ago, and that people who came after us have been getting their order.( At this point I kinda had a feeling they forgotten or misplaced my order).Then another lady jumped in and said, its being made it will be out shortly. I know that was a lie, because the first lady didnt tell me that in the beginning and couldnt find it. As a business owner I know how important it is to have good costumer service and to maintain it. I feel that I couldve received a little sense of sympathy or apology for the situation but instead it felt more like a bother for them that I asked. At that point I asked for my money back because I know it was going to take them at least 15 minutes or more and to be honest I have lost my patience with their rudeness. When they asked me to confirm if I wanted a refund, I said I really have to go now, they said ok.... Like I said I know theyre busy but AT LEAST a simple sorry for the inconvenience might of changed my mind about the refund.I just hope they also refund me back the tip I initially gave them.I will not come back here

My first time here, was an experience to never to be forgotten. The variety and uniqueness of the daily menu is incredible. You wont be sure were to start, each donut looks better then the next and the list is endless. Then you gotta keep a watch out for those daily specials, as you never know when they will be made next time... Everything I had was incredible, I will most definitely be back, have a list of what Ill be trying next. Also they will customize a donut to your liking, which I have yet to see elsewhere. And the customer service here is impeccable, this store should be proud of themselves for this alone... Proud to have such a unique and special store in the great Garden State!! OMG! I have found my happy place. A friend recommended this bakery and they are now part of my regular rotation. So may different flavors. Made fresh and served warm. Like Krispy Kreme when they have the light on but local and more exclusive. Surpassed all my expectations. Lemon bomb was 💣 and Chaitown was divine. Alreasy looking forward to my next trip (fix)

I was very disappointed with my experience here. My family just moved to town last month and we are FOODIES. So when I tell you I was so hyped to try this place out you better believe it. I went in being that it was my first time I wanted to get my face known because I was sure I would be a regular. Well thats dead because when I walked in I was not greeted instead I saw about 3 workers in the front on the phone (completing phone orders I guess) which ok fine I understand a booming business. I didnt exactly know how it worked so I walked towards the back where they made the donuts (thinking ok maybe this is like subway where you tell them how you want the donuts made) one of the bakers said oh you place your orders up front ok my bad walked to the front, they are still on the phones still no greeting, aight Ill get the menu and keep myself occupied. 5 mins passed still nothing 3 more customers walked in and just stand there and then one lady starts getting helped from someone and she came in AFTER me. So at this point Im done with being disrespected. I love supporting small business but its a two way street. I feel like walk in customers triumph call ins. Its too easy to say to me one moment we will be right with you or to the phone please hold one moment I have my 1 year old birthday donut party coming up an was prepared to place a pretty big order but now we will take our business elsewhere. BSDC do better.

Ive had Broad Street Dough Co. at parties before and their donuts were always delicious. I finally got to go to the store and it was great to see all of their regular and weekly special donuts. The employees were all so sweet, the store was clean, and as per usual, the donuts were delicious. Id give them 10 stars if I could.

I guess Im just too old for trendy donut places. When I order a jelly donut, I expect the jelly to be on the *inside*, not in the middle. All the special flavor donuts I saw were toppings added on after it was cooked fresh. Of course that meant that the icing melted off the donut into the cute little box. It was interesting, but in my opinion Dunkin does it better.

Made a special trip here. Definitely didnt live up to my expectations, and didnt look anything like the photos on Instagram. The donuts tasted like the oil was either dirty or not hot enough- had a very oily aftertaste. One was also incorrect. Very bummed.

Cool place to get some made-to-order donuts. The price is compatible to the other donut brand shops but this place is so much better because they make the donuts as you order them. You cant beat fresh made donuts. YUM.

You can tastes to quality in any of these donuts. It was very delicious. They are a bit smaller than a Dunkin’ Donut. But it is very light and pretty to look at. My son has a dairy and egg allergy. They made his donut fresh and separate from the other donuts I ordered. The only down side is that they didn’t have their layered donuts. But we are definitely coming back.

Really the VERY BEST you could every buy!! They make them fresh, as you order them.The coffee and service is amazing, as well.I will say it was not easy getting into the plaza where they are located, but well worth the trouble.

Came in at the beginning of my first aid shift last Sunday. In my half awake half asleep state I didnt realize I came before hours. The girls working let my partner and I in anyway and were super friendly and even went over the menu with us. The doughnuts were made right there fresh and warm. Very delicious and excellent service. Will definitely be coming back next shift.
