Purchased in 2017. I figure taking the car directly to the dealer is the best course of action. Not long ago I couldnt make it, so I went elsewhere for an oil change. The mechanic asked when was the last oil change. He showed me guck instead of oil. It looked like @ least 1 years worth of old oil. Never again.
A few days ago I left a less than complimentary review. Then, Shai from Paul Conte called me back to review point by point exactly what took place from their perspective and Im grateful for the call. I just picked up my 2021 XT6 premium luxury that I had built with every spec to my liking and couldn’t be happier with my first Cadillac experience! Even with the chip shortage my Caddy was delivered on time.This is all thanks to Pat McCabe. I’ve never dealt with a more communicative, honest and diligent salesperson. I got a great deal. He isn’t pushy at all, didn’t try to pitch any BS and truly gives the red carpet experience. All my paperwork was ready to be signed, I was in and out and he even returned my old car for me. Not a fan at all! Bring car in to get it checked dont thoroughly check it. Left pieces of my door handle off. Tell me My AC is fine 2 days later my ac isnt working. Paul Conte Cadillac in freeport makes you think your walking into an old sopranos episode. Unhelpful, rude, slow moving, old school pen and paper operation. They should look at a mercedes service center and the way things are handled for a reference of what a place is like.

(See first part of my review in another section as it was too long to post together).....I was sold an unsafe car, not in the condition that the manager who did a visual inspection said it was in. I then emailed a picture of the part hanging in my wheel well to the manager who said hed look into things. That day the service manager calls me and attempts to say that everyone makes a mistake and his guy must have missed it but I should be understanding. I then told him a blind and deaf person would have been able to catch the fact that an obvious noise would lead someone to check the area it was coming from so I was calling the situation out for what it was; which is fraud. I then waited several more days without a car to get to work, again losing money and finally had to threaten to file a lawsuit to get PCC to refund my money; however, 2 weeks later and not all of my money was refunded. Funny thing; when i called to speak to Paul Conte, whose name is on the sign, everyone advised me that he does not come into his own business anymore.....did he die or something? Note to Paul Conte, who knows, perhaps the next customer that buys a car will end up dead because of a safety issue they fail to check on or just plain did not know about because the car they bought from your dealership did not make any noises like mine did. Perhaps I am a One-Off because the dealership seems to have good reviews so all I can discuss is about my experience. And perhaps since I was from out of state they just figured they would sell me a car with issues and Id just deal with them myself. Long and short, between lost work and expenses PCC cost me almost $1,500. Funny thing, they need me to sign paperwork for them because of a DMV issue and have contacted me several times now, but when it came to me needing their support, i was left hanging. What they should have done was get me a rental car while they fixed all the issues, Instead it appears they knew that all of those issues were going to cost too much and they’d lose any profit and they wanted the car back to either repair and sell for more, or do another slap and tickle job and sell it to another unsuspecting person. I have been driving my 2013 Cadillac XTS4 (Premium edition) for 8 years, and it has performed and continues to drive as flawlessly today as it did when I drove it out of the Paul Conte dealership in Freeport, NY. Each and every service visit over these past 8 years has been rated 5-stars, not due to luck or good fortune, but because of the most trustworthy, experienced and competent service department to carry the Cadillac name. Whether its a 7,500 mile routine oil & filter change and inspection, or for a recommended maintenance visit, or the rare repair and auto part replacement, nobody touches my Cadillac XTS but the Paul Conte people. Why? Because they actually care about whats best for my Cadillac, and always have the owners best interest at heart. Kudos to service manager, Shai Nadav, and his team of service technicians. But my highest rating goes to my long-time master service advisor, Danny Giannini. Danny has overseen the care and maintenance of my Cadillac ever since I purchased it 8 years ago. From the time I check in with him, until he has my car driven up to me, after all work has been completed, including a complimentary carwash, Danny isnt satisfied until he knows I am completely satisfied. So if you drive a Cadillac and want to have it serviced the way Cadillac expects its cars to be serviced, bring it to Paul Conte Cadillac. And, do yourself a favor...ask for Danny Giannini as soon as you check in.

We just purchased a 2020 Cadillac XT6 from Paul Conte Cadillac. It was the exact vehicle I was looking for, so we decided to fly in and drive it home. The vehicle is in good shape (except for one small missing piece that was either missing and we didnt notice or fell off during the commute home). However, the part I would not recommend is dealing with Nelson. He is difficult to deal with and I had much better luck when I was able to contact the sales manager, Frank and general manager, Tim. I honestly wish I had dealt with a sales manager from the beginning. Nelson, the sales consultant didnt respond in a timely manner on several occasions, struggled to get answers, and wasnt willing to listen when we communicated via phone call and came across as demeaning. He laughed when I questioned a full tank of gas, wasnt willing to work with us on transportation from the airport, didnt have the paperwork ready as promised on the day of our arrival and he tried to give us a WHITE car instead of the black one we were buying. He pushed to have us sign papers before viewing the car that we had flown in to view/purchase and requested things we had already provided (like a copy of drivers license) to stall upon arrival while he finished printing necessary paperwork.After chatting with the managers, they were able and willing to help us tremendously.

He was very cool, calm and collected throughout the entire process and never tried to push anything on me or rush me to make a decision. He found my beautiful new Cadillac XT6 and spent time going over the whole car with me even though the dealership was about to close for the night. The sale is done and he continues to answer questions for me and I truly appreciate his continued communication. I chose this dealership because It was local and family owned. I was expecting excellent customer service. I gave dealership a 2 because I did have good experience with Sales Manager Timothy Hardway. He contacted me by email very soon after my visit and worked with me for several weeks to find the right deal.My experience with the Sales associate Gregory was the opposite. No followup after sale. When I went into receive my car. Had to wait over 2 hours for delivery and Had to learn about the Bells and Whistles on my own. Thank god I had my nephew to help learn about the vehicle.
Cadillac is luxurious and the sales rep that I worked with was super helpful. He spent so much time working with me to get the car that I wanted. I really appreciated how thorough and helpful the Conte team was.
The receptionist greeted me as I stepped into a clean and organized showroom on both visits.I was given excuses as to why, the vehicle was not available for me to see, check out or test drive. I was given the opportunity to see the grey metallic color of the car! Prior to my 1st visit, I was offered information on a black vehicle: I did not specify that I did NOT want a black vehicle. I checked out their website and saw a grey metallic and reached out to them again and made an appointment to what I thought was to check out the vehicle.My Cadillac stated that it had 2 miles on the odometer (website and agreement) which was untrue. The odometer read 18 miles the day I picked it up?!!! Even though I felt there was lack of authenticity on the dealers part, I did drive my Cadillac home. I will recommend all my friends and family to check out Cadillac and Paul Conte and especially use caution when visiting car dealers.

Last Week my wife broke down with her 2020 XT6 that was purchased at Paul Conte Cadillac. She got a flat tire while driving home from in the early evening. She called me at work at 530pm. I have been in the auto business for years and still work as a service manager. I immediately departed to meet her and help her. Fortunately she thought to contact OnStar who dispatched Cadillac Roadside. By the time I arrived an agent from Paul Conte, Pete Seymour was already there hard at work changing the tire and putting on the spare. I have know Pete for many years and was relieved it was him who arrived to assist my wife. My wife and I were very grateful. She remembered Pete from a previous Paul Conte Cadillac she owned and he assisted her before. It is times like this that cause us to remember where our loyalty comes from. The reason why we return to Paul Conte is not only because they sell great cars by employ such awesome people. Ive been searching for a new SUV for the past 5 months as my GMC Acadias lease was up. I had a few terrible experiences with other dealerships and no luck finding a new or preowned GMC due to lack promos and inventory due to Covid. I waited a week for a service appointment in January 2020, for my 2003 Cadillac, with a service engine light.I thought that the car would be looked at either the day I gave them the car, or the next day.. when I called to inquire, I was told that the appointment date was only to take the car in.. Bottom line is they charged me $750.00 for the repair, after keeping the car several days more. Within 50 miles of driving the car, the same issue came back. I called service to ask about what were the next steps, and was told that it would cost more money. I asked about what they said was under warranty for 12K miles, and was told that they would need to replace more parts, and it would cost me more money. After a diagnostic fee of $160.00 and 600 more for repairs, I was back at the beginning.Terrible service and interaction,I will never use again, and will never purchase a car from them..I would like to give them ZERO stars.
Dropped off my car for an oil change this morning and the check in process was quick and efficient. I received a phone call not long after that the car was ready for pick up. When I arrived, my car was being dried off! I desperately needed a wash so I was thrilled to see that. Ryan came out personally to return my keys and check that everything had been done. Great customer service and the little personal touches make it even more enjoyable. I will definitely return, Thank you for a great experience.

The service was great but the labor charge of over $352 to remove a door panel and replace a switch ($57) is a little much for 2 hrs.
Ive had my car here 5 times in 2 months and they have yet to resolve the issue.
