First of all, amazing staff! I went to The Bridal World as my final stop after shopping around and i thought it was going to be another fail because i couldn’t find that perfect dress i always imagined myself in. As soon as i walked in the store and picked a few dresses, i could already tell i found the dress i was looking for!! It was right there in front of me. I chose it to be the last one i tried one and i fell completely in love with it. In my mind i said yes to the dress right away!! Thank you for an amazing and smooth dress shopping experience. It was tailored perfectly to my liking and i got to save every part of my dress. I am so in love with my dress!

I had a wonderful time finding my wedding dress here, this was my first time visiting the salon and I found my dress yesterday! my consultant Lucy was amazing and I honestly can’t say enough good things about her she paid attention to what I had in mind & she genuinely made every part of the appointment a special and great experience. all the staff made me feel comfortable & special. From the moment myself and my guests arrived we were greeted with kindness. We loved how we had the whole store to ourselves and got to speak with Tammy on what I was looking for during my wedding dress shopping experience. I wanted to try on different styles, designers, prices and Tammy let us pick out what we had our eyes on and she took my wedding style and location to heart and picked out what she thought would speak to me. Boy, did she impress me and my guests! The third dress I tried on, the one Tammy picked out for me was it! I felt so comfortable in my dress and knew it had everything that all the other dresses I tried on were missing. This was my fourth store and I’m so happy to have found a dress that is perfect for me! Definitely go to The Bridal World in Freeport, it won’t disappoint!

WOW, where do I even start! I had such a beautiful experience at Bridal world. I came in to try dresses after a not so great experience at another bridal shop. The staff is so sweet and made me feel right at home. I did not feel pressured I literally spent like 2-3 hours trying on dresses and did not feel rushed at all! This was my fourth bridal appointment looking for my wedding dress and literally was the absolute best experience by a mile ! I had my bridal appointment with Ali and she was literally like shopping with my best friend. She was honest, straight to the point, listened to everything I said and made the experience completely enjoyable from start to finish with zero stress. She was herself which made me feel at home, which was a huge relief after dealing with very “salesperson” personalities at numerous other stores. I left 100% happy and everyone deserves the amazing experience I had while finding my dress at this store. I 10000% recommend this store as well as this staff, I promise you will not be disappointed. This is such a lovely Bridal salon. I had a wonderful experience finding my perfect dress here. Tami was so helpful, sweet, and patient when trying on each dress. I loved how we were able to look through the racks of wedding gowns ourselves. They are also very accommodating with bringing family/friends with you. In addition to my mother and matron of honors, I had my toddler niece and nephew with me.Overall, I really felt like they made my experience very special and without the pressure you would get at some other bridal salons. I am getting married next year 2022, and I’ve been searching for wedding expos to go to. Friday evening I came across a trunk show at Bridal World. I immediately emailed the store to see if I could make an appointment, never thinking someone would email me back in time. Not only did I get an email from Tami back she accommodated me changing the original appointment and answered all my questions. Fast forward to the next day. I go never expecting to find anything just try on and see what happens. I can tell you I said Yes to the Dress that day!! Tami was so patient, and so helpful to me while changing dresses and any questions we had. I can honestly say this was my first shop and I fell in love with my dress. I’m so happy for my big day. I went to this place as I saw online they had very good mixes of more simple and glam gowns along with very gorgeous super glam gowns. I had the intention of getting custom made dress by a family member who makes wedding dresses. So I went to really check out what silhouette was for me and which was not. Went with absolutely no expectations. When we arrived Ali greeted me and my group and we can tell she was a sweetheart. She vibed with our humor and made it so enjoyable. Told her my budget and what styles I was thinking of. I hadn’t disclosed about the custom made dress. We proceeded to try on and first couple of dresses were what I expected. They helped me cancel out what I didn’t like. But then I tried on thee dress and Ali could see that. She glammed me up with a belt and veil and the tears wouldn’t stop flowing. I fell hard for what is now my dress. Safe to say the Bridal World helped me say yes to the dress and everything about the experience was magical. Ali went above and beyond for me to feel special in that dress, not to make a sale but because she saw the emotion pour out of me and my group when I truly thought I wouldn’t find anything I loved at all. Can’t wait to get my gown in and wear it on my special day.

I said Yes to the dress !!! so exciting, Great selection of updates dresses and a lot of colors that so was looking for . I walked in an automatically wanted to try on the dresses from the window, ended up trying on several and most in my price range. Shop owner was Great and knowledgeable!! I wanted to take some time today to thank Tami and her team at The Bridal World in Freeport for the amazing experience I had when I was shopping for my dream dress. I absolutely HATED wedding planning. I never envisioned myself getting married so when I got engaged after 8 years of dating, I had to start planning from scratch.I dreaded dress shopping the most. As many women out there, I would rather do almost anything else instead of try on clothing - - especially a wedding dress! Best experience ever at Bridal World. I saw a Lillian West dress online that I was absolutely obsessed with. I could not find it at any stores on Long Island, or in the city. Bridal World offered to order the gown for me, even though they didn’t carry that specific style number. Three weeks later, I tried it on in store, and said yes to the dress immediately!

I had been to four other stores before coming to Bridal world. They were absolutely amazing and so patient. I came in with a list of dresses and the numbers of the design and she pulled all of them for me. I was so undesivive at first and she made me feel so comfortable that I am picky. She even encouraged me to walk around and feel comfortable. She was honest and explained all the details of the dresses and showed me comparisons of the style I was looking for. Their prices are reasonable.Even when I found what I thought was the dress and was hesitant she was not pushy.She pulled the dress back and held it and showed me how it would look with my body and was so sweet. Such a beautiful shop, with huge, moveable mirrors to see every angle of your gown. What a difference from the first store I went to (where they had me using a hand mirror to see the back of the dresses 🤦🏼‍♀️). The bridal world is great. I bought my wedding dress and two veils from here and they are so friendly and helpful and do a great job with the alterations. My dress was absolutely stunning. Everyone thought it was an $8,000 dress and the price was no where near that. Prices are so reasonable, dresses are so gorgeous and amazing quality. So many different options and styles to choose from. You will definitely walk out of here with a dress. Might as well save yourself the time and hassle of going the other dress shops and just come here first.

After visiting few dress places and tons of dresses liked on Pinterest, I was determined to find my dress this week. My friend told me about Bridal World in Freeport and I had the best experience ever! The store was beautiful, music was great, dresses displayed were all unique styles I havent seen and the overall vibe was amazing!! The lovely owner, Tami, helped me explore all the styles i wanted to try on while adding fun cap sleeves and different veil styles along with it. I eyed a dress in the window from the parking lot and fell in love, but had a hesitation because I had a final dress appt that had great variety and reviews. Next day, i went to that final dress store in hopes i would find something that would amount to the one i tried on at bridal world. The experience was ehhhh and i hated every style my dress consultant picked out. The dresses were dirty and the drive from Long Island was dreadful. After trying on 6 dresses, i was honest in telling the lady helping me that i found my dress already and had to leave. I called Tami on the way to bridal world and she waited 2 hours for me!!!! She had the dress ready and even had a little gift for me! I later saw a picture of her and her husband on her wedding day along with other generations in her family. Knowing that i had supported a family business, especially during this time, further made me feel like i truly did make the right decision! I overwhelmed with excitement that I finally found my dress and sooo relieved I dont have to try on more and more mediocre dresses. Thank you so so so much Tami! Go to Bridal World!!! I’m the maid of honor in a wedding and went to bridal world to get my dress altered. The woman working the front desk was kind and very accommodating. She was able to get me in the next day to start alterations. Hanna, the seamstress, was honest about the complexity and extent to which the dress needed changes, but was confident she was able to do them. She had to implement techniques that she had never done before on this kind of dress. The alterations were done quickly and for a very reasonable price. I’m so happy with the dress; it fits perfectly and I feel so comfortable in it. I highly recommend bridal world if you need alterations!

The ladies at The Bridal World captured our hearts and gave me hope that I would find my dream gown! I had an appointment earlier that day at another bridal salon and had left disappointed. Walking into The Bridal World was truly a breath of fresh air! We were greeted by so much excitement and we just knew from the moment we stepped inside the store that we would be leaving with a gown! Ronnie, the owner, is just so wonderful! She has a knack for style and has selected the most stunning gowns for her store. AND the gowns are reasonable! Double win! I was the luckiest girl in the world to have Paulette be my bridal consultant that day. She was just full of love and excitement for me as I tried on gown after gown. She has an eye for fashion and knows exactly what you’re looking for! She listened to me and took all of what I wanted into account, and in the end, found me the gown of my dreams. Not only is she a true professional, but she is SO fun to be around! She has truly touched my heart and I will never, ever forget her. And last but not least, Hannah - my seamstress! This boutique is a local gem, and I have nothing but WONDERFUL  things to say about it.First I must say that if you are looking for a place that makes you feel like and takes care of you like  youre their own daughter COME HERE. My appointment was with PAULETTE and I would recommend her 1000x over. She had such a light and happy spirit and made looking for my gown so much fun. She interacted with my aunts and mother like she was one of them, taking in their opinions and pulling gowns that blended everything we were looking for in a dress. I have to say, I found a BEAUTIFUL GORGEOUS AMAZING  gown, but because it was my first store I didnt want to commit. After searching I still was in love with the dress from Bridal World, and I called to make an appointment to see if I could try it on again.  I came in and Paulette put me back into the gown, the seamstress and owner even came to help with my appointment and answer questions. Once again great service, knowledgeable staff, and warm caring atmosphere. I still had one appointment in the city so I didnt get the dress that night, not once did I feel pressured to make a purchase, only encouraged to pick the perfect dress for me.I ended up finding my dress in the city, but on my way home my mom and I said how we felt a little sad that we didnt get the dress from Paulette just because we just loved our experience there,  if only they had the dress I ended up with in Freeport! PAULETTE  is amazing so if you are hunting for a gown ask for her!!

I have to say the bridal world is a must go for any bride looking for the perfect dress! The moment I stepped into the door, Ronnie and her team were ready to attend to me. They were warm, welcoming and inviting. From the first fitting to the last, Ronnie and her team were accommodating and on top of things. Hanna did my alterations and she was amazing to work with. I shared so many great moments and laughs with her! She did an AMAZING job on my dress and recommend her to any bride! This is a review for Angela, an amazingly talented seamstress and an ANGEL on earth! She fixed my wedding dress the day before my wedding after a miscommunication with a different seamstress left me hating my wedding dress. She worked some serious magic! To the staff at Bridal World, also - THANK YOU so much for being so accommodating and so lovely even though you’re in peak bridal season. It meant the world to me!!!

I had an amazing experience with Bridal World! Ronnie is excellent and so are all of the women that work with her. I had such a wonderful experience with her and Dahlia. My dress came in when Ronnie promised, It was in perfect condition, and Dahlia is AMAZING!! Her alterations were wonderful and she is such a wonderful woman! We hit it off the moment I met her. She tells you what has to be done to the dress and it comes out perfectly. I looked forward to every dress fitting appointment. When I came in my dress was always ready and Dahlia did exactly what she said she would. You cant even tell my dress was altered. I also ordered my veil from Ronnie. Came in within a week. I will pick up my dress next week-2 days before my wedding. With all the chaos in wedding planning it was so great to know 1 of the most important things-my wedding dress will be perfect for the big day! Thanks Ronnie and Dahlia!

I just visited this bridal shop as a friend of the bride, and had a wonderful experience! Ronnie was attentive and very knowledgeable about what was available in the shop. The entire appointment was very relaxed and enjoyable and my friend found the dress of her dreams thanks to the creative vision of the seamstress and Ronnie!

I absolutely loved both of my experiences at this beautiful shop. Roni & Paulette were dolls and made me feel so comfortable while looking for one of the most expensive and sentimental item of clothing in my life. I never felt pressures, rushed or pushed in any direction. I cant wait to see my dress when it comes back or to continue working this great business. 100% recommend!

Small, quaint, beautiful boutique. Your not overwhelmed when you walk in. I thought this would be stressful shopping, but the woman who helped me choose dresses listened to me and by the end of my shopping I found my dress. I was not pressured or rushed. I even came back that evening to show my aunt my selection because I was so happy. Alterations were done in site and to my liking. I would bring any friend their in a heartbeat if they need to buy a wedding dress.

The ladies in this store are fantastic! They are very knowledgeable, know what will work for your body type, patient, helpful and oh what a talented seamstress! I cant wait to see my dress in its finished state! Oh, and my wedding is in 5 months.

I went in to see if I could get a vintage wedding dress let out. I understand that vintage dresses can be tricky and not all seamstresses are prepared to deal with it, but I called and they said over the phone that they would look at it. When I walked in, they treated me awfully. I was in the dress for about 10 minutes and they berated me about how the dress was too small for me (I knew this already of course-it was too small by half an inch), and how I ripped the dress because it was too small (there was a small tear on the seam at the sleeve, which was there before I tried the dress on), and kept poking me and prodding me while talking about how the dress was too small and it would be too difficult to repair, without answering my questions or even looking at the seams. The seamstress eventually said she could do it by taking apart the dress and gave me a quote. I left and went to another seamstress who told me the alterations would be easy to do without taking the dress apart, which costed much less than their quote.The appointment only lasted 10 minutes, where they treated me like a fool for wanting to wear the dress, would not answer my questions about alterations, and lied to me about the amount of labor it would take. I understand if they are not skilled enough to handle a vintage dress, but they should have told me that up front. Please be wary of getting alterations done here!

Came in for a bridesmaid dress fitting. The staff is lovely but the owner is so stuck up and nasty it really ruined my experience here I ended up taking my dress elsewhere.

The service and the selection was quite good in this particular boutique, so much so I decided to outfit my bridal party by using their services. The customer service available at the store with the individuals working there is also quite good. My critique and my problem with this establishment comes with the process after the dresses are found, and ordered, the dresses took three months in order to arrive, but I am assured that this is common practice in this industry. That being put aside every single bridesmaids dress was at least one size bigger than the bridesmaid, even though more than half of them actually tried on the dress in a size that fit them perfectly and ordered that dress in the color of my wedding in the size that they wanted which fit them perfectly in tge store. When the dresses finally came they were all too big and required alterations, alterations that they readily assured us they could do for an additional $85. Which I believe was the driving factor behind them ordering the wrong size in the first place. That is why they are rated three stars and not higher.

Save yourself the trouble - Bridal World was the first place I went to when I started Wedding Dress Shopping for my 2018 wedding. I went by myself so I wouldnt feel overwhelmed having family there.I came into the store and it was empty, all except for a small woman in the back of the store sitting on the couch, wrapped in a blue blanket playing on her phone. Without getting up or off her phone, she talks rudely from across the store to me, Can I help you??? (She probably thought I was some high school kid coming in to have fun - Im 24 btw). I kindly said, no and hoped to find something pretty, maybe even hoped to try something on. She then starts interrogating me (never once getting off the couch). She was super rude to me. Kept her eyes on me like I was about to steal a dress or something. And when I mean interrogating, I mean someone rudely screaming across the store, Oh yea, when? when is the wedding? What kind of dress?YOURE the one getting married?? etc. etc. All typical questions I would except to be asked at a bridal store, but from someone who actually got off the couch to ask me. I was so upset about my first ever wedding dress experience that I left the store immedietly. She said absolutely nothing to me on my way out the door. The atmosphere was so uninvting. Ill never go back.I have grown up in Freeport/Baldwin my entire life. I have been passing this store for YEARS imagining myself here one day getting ready for my wedding. This store will not have the pleasure of having my time or money in the future.

I ordered my gown from there a month ago for my wedding next yr in cancun mexico. The service was great and i had a great bridal experience cant wait for my dress to come.

Birdal World was the ONLY dress store that I went into, and never wanted to leave! The dresses were stunning, the staff was so friendly, helpful and fun! They made me feel like finding the right dress for my big day was their priority. I ended buying the first dress I even tried on! Although, i tried on about 8 afer that, i left with the very 1st one. The girls working there spet hours helping with my mom, maid of honor and myself and had fun with us along the way. The owner Ronnie was just as involved in our little dress-up party and she was so great and helpful. Also, their personal seamstress Dalia was amazing! She added all the extras that I wanted, saworski crystals, swarovski bottons down the back-she was awesome! My Wedding was almost 4 years ago and I still have the best memories from shopping with Bridal World, theyre the #1 place to go!

If you’re looking for a SPECIFIC DRESS, reach out to this boutique!!! Bridal world is a new intimate bridal shop on Long Island, run by Tami who was extremely accommodating and patient. I emailed her to ask if they had a specific Lillian West dress and although she didn’t, she was able to get it from the loaner program from the designer!!!! I said yes to that dress. I tried several dresses on prior to coming here and this was by far my favorite shop. Small, personal, intimate, not a number, patient, beautiful venue, up to date with the times, and Instagram friendly. Check out their Instagram for an inside look into the shop. She even gave me a cute “bride” wine glass and champagne to celebrate saying yes. They have 2 huge mirrors so you are able to see the back of the dress too 👗 thank you Bridal World, I am so excited and love my dress! 🥰
