Came in the other day to get a stereo and backup camera installed in my 2001 Infiniti i30. I already had all the parts I thought I needed. Vic was incredibly helpful. Took a look at my supplies, quoted a price, and offered another part to make my experience even better (but didn’t pressure me at all).Work was done within a couple of hours. Something wasn’t working properly and Vic sat with me to fix it and make sure the job was done. Even replaced the part just in case it was a hardware issue. Super appreciative of his patience and customer service.Couldn’t recommend this place more!

Avenue Sound earned my first ever merchant review. The two guys I dealt with there simply impressed the hell out of me. Both guys displayed an expertise that I expected, but the customer service level showed to me though went well beyond what was expected. Mike the sales guy guided me toward a Kenwood head unit that I’m extremely happy with. Most sales folk leave you once that’s done, but not Mike. He spent time with me again twice helping me to understand certain things and get it set up the way I wanted. Vic the Installation guy gave me a superb job twice. An actuator noise issue that was supposedly repaired coincidentally reoccurred after the installation. Vic went way out of his way to prove it was totally unrelated and did what I needed to help me out. I also especially like how he hid the USB wire beneath the steering column. Its with great pleasure that I highly recommend Avenue Sound.

Totally bad experience with a staff member name paul..he was so unprofessional had me come all the way from the 5 boroughs to tell me when I get there that he cant was wont help me..I spoke to him via phone with telling him I paid for a part that took almost 3 weeks to come, he told me to come to Freeport and he will wait for me regardless of it being after 6pm. when I arrive he asks like he doesnt remember the conversation and tells me to come back another day and he lied and said that there were no techs there, where infact one was still there and volunteered to assist me BUT PAUL TOLD HIM NO!!! so now I left empty handed and very disappointed and dissatisfied with this place...NEVER AGAIN!!!

Starting from the very beginning, everyone was extremely helpful and very informative. The job came out amazing. I wouldn’t recommend anyone else to upgrade your vehicle. From my lights to my upgraded speakers, the craftsmanship was flawless.

They did an amazing job with my son’s Apple CarPlay install.

Make an appointment. Walk in are not generally welcomed. They work is on point customer service wise need in proving. My opinion only.

Awesome experience installing a remote start on my car. I called around to about seven places before reaching Vic. He was the only one able to install the system right away and he gave me options so I could pick the best one, and possibly expand it in the future. True to his word, they were also done in about an hour and I am amazed at the service! Thank you!

Outstanding Service!I had a complete audio and security alarm system upgrade on my Volvo XC90 and it was just what I expected, Im so very pleased with everything. Antonio, the point man understood everything I wanted done and he delivered. I will be returning for further install work, as well as definitely recommending these guys to everyone. I drove in from Connecticut and wasnt happy about the $17.00 + dollars in toll charges, but it was well worth it!

I just had the most pleasant, easeful, stress-free and swift experience at Avenue Sound. I called on a whim to get a price quote for the installation of a remote car starter. I was greeted on the phone by a man that invited me to come down in person so that we could go over my options. When there, I was greeted and spoke with Vik, the owner, who talked to me in such an easy, respectful way, which is not always common in a male-dominated business, that I felt confident and secure in my choice of product and the labor that would be done to my car. Avenue Sound was actually recommended by my Dad who got a remote starter installed in his car a couple of weeks back. I called a few days before actually going and the customer representative was very helpful over the phone. Once there customer service was excellent, everyone was so friendly! Before leaving my car this morning, Mike was super helpful, he took the time to see my car, listened as I explained the situation and walked me through the whole process. I had cameras (front and rear) installed as well as a touch screen radio and remote start alarm system installed and the work came out great. No leftover wires left behind and the world was clean. Highly recommended!

Great place, prices and people! I had a nissan maxima that i couldnt figure out why it was giving me feed back after installing a double din myself. They found the problem quickly and helped me out. Also got an amp and subs installed in the Trunk, gave me great advice with wiring options and installed the amp and subs very clean.

Had a sound system done in my Jeep over the summer, just changed speakers and added little bass. Everything came out good and sounds great.I just brought wife’s car for a remote start and everything works well.They’re not the cheapest but when it comes to electrical in cars don’t play around.Profesional shop. Would use again.

I know it’s the 23rd of December, but there is absolutely no reason a business should put anyone of their prospective customers on hold for 10 minutes, twice, and then, when they finally pick up the phone, suggest that coming in person is a better option. Is 0 stars possible? By the way, they’re next to Porsche, BMW and Jaguar dealers which explains why they really don’t need customers. It’s a shame, they may be a great store for your automotive needs, but they never got to prove it to this prospective customer.

Vic and the guys were super friendly and extremely knowledgeable. After discovering the amp bypass module would not work on my car Vic stepped in and witthin the hour had custom made me a new wire harness all at a reasonable cost. Can not say enough positive things about these guys. Thanks again guys, you have a new customer for life.

Avenue Sound has got to be one of the best experiences Ive had when dealing with anything regarding audio upgrades. These guys are extremely professional. They didnt just throw a speaker + Amp combo at me and say this will give you great sound. We sat in my car, listened to the sound, and talked about how we can make it better with different options all specific to what I was looking for. On top of that, the tech doing the install did an excellent job. No shortcuts. Highly recommend!

I’ve used them a couple of times and everything was positive. I chose them because of the great reviews that I saw online and I have to agree. One of the things that I really like is that they are accurate with their timing and they don’t give you false expectations about now long you will be there.I had automatic starters put into a car twice. I had an issue with one of the cars and they could not have been nicer about fixing it. I find them pleasant, technically top-notch, fair with the prices, And easy to work with. Highly recommend!

Jason was very cool to work with. I explained what was happening in my car and he came up with a great solution. The sound is so much better. They put sound proof material that stopped the doors from rattling. I am very pleased with the results and would recommend them.

Went over to the shop on their sale weekend. Spoke to Vic about trying to get my car set up with some sound (all speakers were blown). Brought the car over around 1 and within an hour Vic called letting me know what was still good and what had to be fixed. We agreed on price and he had the speakers in within a couple hours. 100% bringing my car back to have some more work done soon

Ordered a complete radio and install kit over the phone all the way from Houston texas. Made up my order on Ebay and got it delivered to my house. I absolutely Love Avenue Sound, I recently had an issue with my car in which the radio was flashing protect protect over and over again and not giving me any sound whatsoever so i put in my old radio in a got it working again took it back to the shop and they diagnosed my problem for me informing me that I had 3 blown speakers in which i had no idea. Not only was this service free and super friendly but i was offered an upgrade to a much better radio for just 20 bucks. Service was outstanding and always is. This place does bait and switch on Viper products and when confronted the owners become rude and aggressive. I drive past this place and take my business to Street Smarts in Bellmore. Theyre professional and honest.

I got a car stereo and backup camera installed. I got there after reading the great reviews, though it was a 30 mile drive for me. These guys are authorized dealers for most of the brands. When I walked into the showroom I was a novice, the sales guys, Vik and Rich, if I remember the names correctly did a remarkable job in guiding me to the stereo and backup camera best suited for my requirements. Their prices were very competitive and the best part is that they have a fully established workshop. It has been about 6 months and no issues with the product or the installation. I would go highly recommend.

Defective products sold and no refunds exchanges only, I liked them at first but once I realized that, I was being sold defective merchandise more than once, I had to return to Speed world of queens and or Car Toons for my automotive needs.

Shame on me for going back here. Didnt know cat would be all in his feelings for receiving a bad review from me because they tried to rob me by attempting to sell me a piece of equipment they knew i didnt need. Attempted to purchase a speaker box today and they refused to sell it to me mentioning my review. I feel slightly discriminated against for exercising my right to free speech and speaking the truth. Oh well Ill spend my money elsewhere. Never let your feelings get in the way of getting that bag and honesty above everything. Didnt know men could be so sensitive.

Backup camera wasnt working, map nav wasnt working. Thought this was going to be an expensive fix. Turns out I needed a firmware update and the cameras ground wire reconnected. Courtesy no charge for the labor and update.This family and associates are really nice to do business with. Never rush you when you have questions about your system.

I went to this place July 12 2018 base on the review and let me tell you this they know what they are doing I had my car system previously done at a different place that was not done properly at all but when I got to this place all I can said is this is a very professional place to get your car hooked and wired properly not like my previous place the used cheap wires and rca cables which in my view look like cheap and firmly I believe that you get what you pay for but anyways I am very thankful for a great job that you guys did on rewiring my car properly and I will be coming back for other services in the near future 5 stars all the way

After another establishment popped an additional $100 fee to install a remote start for me I called Avenue Sound. Vic answer the phone and gave me the best price around, he also let me get the car in for installation right away. I dropped the car off at 1:30 and had it back by 5:30. Great business, would highly recommend and use again.
