Unique place where every detail -from their carefully chosen home gifts to their incredibly authentic and flavorsome Turkish coffee, their delicious and healthy bowls and mouthwatering baklava - are instilled with love to detail. Big surprise finding a luscious San Sebastian cheesecake in Freeport Maine which transports those who try it to Spain. It is a place we have made a certain stop on every trip to Maine. It is one of those special places that makes one happy to visit.

Best espresso Ive had in the U. S. Pleasant owner, well kept store and just steps away from tons of shopping. Skip the national chain and hit these folks up. Homemade treats to top it off!

Such a lovely shop! We got a caramel latte and a pumpkin spice latte. They both were amazing! So good in fact that we then tried some of the teas!The quality and customer service here are top notch!

I found this little gem while en route to Bailey Island. The huge espresso banner lured me in, and the iced latte did not disappoint. The baked goods will keep me coming back. The owner was very charming and pleasant, and there were plenty of interesting items through out the shop to browse through. More than worth the detour!

We have been here twice and it has been amazing both times! We have ordered Turkish Coffee, Caramel Macchiato, Iced coffee, Iced tea (Wild Berry Hibiscus), Pistachio cherry cake, Overnight oats, Breakfast sandwich and a Mediterranean lunch bowl. Every single item has been incredible.The owners are wonderful! I am grateful to have such an awesome place to go in our town.

A cute little cafe with lots of goodies to check out during your day of shopping. They offer a variety of coffee and tea based drinks including traditional Turkish coffee. You can also buy the coffee in the store along with the copper pot to make it at home on your stovetop!The store also offers a variety of unique ceramics and home decor as well as a variety of pastries, baklava and Turkish Delight options which all looked amazing. I ended up ordering the San Sebastián cheesecake and tried the blueberry merlot latte which sounded unique and interesting. Both were delicious. The owner was very friendly and I learned that he personally designed and laser cut all of the Maine decor inspired wood pieces that are for sale throughout the cafe.I definitely recommend stopping here and hope to be back again soon the next time I am in the Freeport area!

I really love ZesTea. I think they have some of the best coffee and breakfast/lunch food around, and I have loved everything I have tried. Every staff member I have met is absolutely lovely and kind, and I always enjoy seeing them. The products they have for sale in the shop are all lovely and clearly high quality, so I’ll definitely be coming in next time I need a gift. One of my favorite places, and I would absolutely recommend!!

Great little spot for coffee, espresso drinks (both iced and hot) and teas just a block away from LL Bean. Dairy free and decaf options are available. Our lattes were made with care and it shows. Highly recommend for a quick coffee and pastry.

For those more adventurous, looking for a coffee shop other than the cookie cutter run of the mill shops everywhere stop by ZesTea for some great coffee, teas, snacks, and food. They have a very large variety of teas and coffee and are a locally owned business in the Freeport area. Heading back from Bangor, ME, my wife and daughter insisted on stopping at the stop before leaving the area. The atmosphere, great selection, and wonderful owner are all very inviting. The teas, coffee, and food are very good. You will not be disappointed. The shop is located at the end of the strip their in Freeport. Once youre there, order something, take a seat and enjoy the area and the atmosphere.

Stopped in this cute local spot on a trip to Freeport. The coffee was awesome and was made with care. The pastries are also really great. I wanted 1 of everything just to take home, but am definitely pleased with what I got. If you are visiting, I would highly recommend making the trip up here to experience this cute little coffee and tea shop!

First time trying Turkish coffee and it’s my favorite now!

I went into the small store for a Turkish coffee pot, which they had two sizes. They have wide variety of handsome tea pots and small artful cups. I ordered a cup of Turkish coffee which was done perfectly! I chose a baklava sampler, which was very good, to go with the coffee. They both were excellent together. The owner was cheerful and happy to chat with me. He also let me sample a more traditional middle eastern tea, which was also good. I will definitely be going back to sample more teas.😊

Don’t look any further! If you’re visiting Freeport and want good coffee, this is the place! Yes, it is not locally roasted like other great coffee shops in Portland, but you will not be disappointed! And yes… ZesTea sells lots of wonderful tea and amazing Turkish treats as well. Arda works on each drink one at a time, so be patient if there is a line. You will enjoy an amazing cold or hot drink made with love. Almost 50 five star reviews can’t be wrong… right?

This is my favorite place in Freeport. The baked goods and hot and cold drinks are all delicious. The atmosphere is simple and sophisticated. Unlike anything else around.

Stopped in on opening day. My tea and this Turkish cheese pastry called Borek were both so fresh, hot and delicious. The pastries were all amazing! Cant wait to try more! Also the owners have given a lot of thought to Covid prevention and it shows in how safe you feel inside when ordering.

Everytime I step into ZesTea I feel a sense of wonder and delight by the sights, smells and smiles of the customers and staff. Theres a wide variety of drinks to try - personally I have had their tea, coffee and hot chocolate plus the choice of food to accompany it. They never disappoint! Additionally, their products - some of which are handmade are charming and affordable. It is now my go to!!

It was chilly day so I popped in for a hot chocolate. The service was friendly and quick, the drink was reasonably priced, and most importantly, it was delicious! Definitely coming back here to try some of the pastries and teas.

Iced coffee uses coffee ice cubes so it maintains strength as it melts. So good i went home and mowed the lawn.

Very cool coffee shop. Fresh and delicious pastries. Huge selection of coffees and a lot of kinds you would not get elsewhere. This is the only place in Maine I’ve been able to find Turkish coffee and it is SO good. The staff are also very friendly and helpful with any coffee/pastry questions. The shop also sells some really interesting wood burned signs and things.

Absolutely amazing! I honestly always forget to take pictures because I immediately dive in, but everything Ive tried so far has been incredible. There is always a variety of baklava to choose from. Their turkish delights are consistently flavorful and soft. And dont even get me started about their profiterole. One is never enough and sharing is completely out of the question. Pair it with one of their café style drinks and what more could you seriously want?! If it wasnt a two hour round trip, Id definitely be going every day. Check them out!!

The coffee is flavorful, the savory and sweet options are homemade and delicious. I had the lentil lunch box ($12.00) which offered a tasty, fresh, perfectly moist assortment of lentil preparations. Also included was a vegetarian grape leaf which was yummy.For my dessert I had their handmade chocolate paklava. It was very light, delicate, and not too sweet. Best place in Freeport, and actually one of the most interesting and creative coffee shops I have found anywhere in Maine! They also sell their own (and other artists) handmade items.Love this locally owned shop

I am a local and have been in many times already enjoying each visit to work through the menu. The coffee is divine and the Madagascar chai is a wonderful treat. The pastries and cakes are so unique and delicious, each one different and having a hand crafted quality. You can’t go wrong. The owners have huge smiles that reach beyond their masks and are fully into this business with their whole heart and their crafts and artwork that adorn the shop make this an easy stop for gifting and a treat for yourself. They are COVID safe and a Freeport gem!!
