Staff is so helpful. I am not a gamer, but anytime I go in there to buy something for my familu they are so helpful and patient with me . Love these guys!

At this point I only come here for the nostalgia. There are no good new games being made, then I already have everything I want. Then when something new comes out, it is generally for pc, so I do not need to stop at gamestop. I suppose it is only a matter of time before everyone buys their games online.

Ive been outside for 35 minutes Id like to know if gamestop has what I need before entering due to covid precautions but now Ive been trying to call the store and Ive been watching the worker inside pick the phone up and hang up the phone the sign says open, will not be coming here ever again

Most of the time you can find anything theyre selling their cheaper at Walmart. Not just a little cheaper quite a bit cheaper. Not sure how theyre still in business. But theyre very nice. Workers Do their best to help you however they can.

They have boxs of xboxs and pss but no xboxs or pss

Went here to get the new Nintendo switch light. Theyre out of stock Walmart had 16 of them. Not a surprise why GameStop is going out of business.

My grandson needed a new controller for his video game. Game stop has everything. Great games, apparel, game theme toys, and best of all great employees and prices.

They are never accessible and they dont stock games for sale. the final fantasy 7 pre- order sale was a mess. they only order enough for the people who pre- ordered and not enough to sale.Not only that but they never answer the phones or deliver items.Gamestop clearly stated they would be doing deliveries to peoples houses during the crisis

Gamestop has a lot of selections of games, the place is a very clean and nice place to go if you were to buy any games, the only downside to this would be that there Is an employee that was rude while we were there, very unhelpful, and wouldnt really give an answer to anything we would ask about them. not sure if I allowed to say their name, but everyone else there was very helpful and kind. But the one employee made me think this should be 4 stars

Great store and informative staff.Never had an issue with any purchase or pre order.I also like I can order a product on the website and can pick it up there without having to pay postage and, at times,recieved it at the online discounted price that wasnt offered in store.

Was not welcomed. The other 3 people were that came in a few minutes later were. A disappoint as usual. I will not stop at this store again. Not a single game I was looking for in stock. I will order from the website only.

The staff is usually really friendly and helpful but the store lead is rude and patronizing. He treated me poorly due to a problem with reward points. I really have no reason to go to this store at this point and will spend my money at one of the rockford gamestops.(Sorry to his staff!)

Bought a XBOX One S for $199 with 500GB that was preowned. Later upon opening the package you could tell this unit was put through the wringer. Multi color juice spills inside the unit, scratches, nicks galore on the console. Could not get the HDMI line to stay inside the console. To top it off the controller had been launched a few hundred times, which was evident by its condition. A very important lesson was learned, open the box at the store and check everything. For $199 across the street a new unit could be had with 1TB at a certain box store. My fault as a nube, just a fair warning. Returned for full refund.

Our local Gamestop is where its at!!! The Freeport Illinois store is full of great product and knowledgeable and friendly store associates!!! Its a total winner!!!!

Went to get a ps3 controller. Didnt have the original 1. They said well we can order you 1 if you dont want the aftermarket universal 1. Why would you carry a aftermarket that is higher price than a original replacement?

Always go out of there way to assist and guide you to a better deal and pretty knowledgeable about old and current games

Terrible customer service! Called to ask about a game, waited through MANY rings before someone answered, then was put on hold for 5 whole mins before I hung up. Called two other local GameStop stores and was answered on the first ring and was thoroughly helped in less than 120 seconds. I do not recommend the Freeport store to anyone!
