Always a positive family dining experience at Imperial. Our service was quick. We were seated promptly and served water and silverware. Soon after our waiter stopped by and took our orders for drinks and food. Our waiter customized our kids breakfast orders and was really sweet with our picky kiddos. Food was delicious. The pancakes were hot and fluffy. My husband enjoyed his corned beef hash and said the home fries from Imperial always hit the spot. We will definitely come back as we always do!
Food was good. Pricing was fair. But the service was lousy. Waitress had no interest to be helpful. Forgot my soup, never asked if we needed extra drinks then she tried to charged us for someone else’s drink.Will give it another shot.

Great place to eat after a long bicycle ride up the Nautical Mile. The customer service was excellent. They are a bit pricey though. It looks great on the inside 💠 but at the time of this posting there was lots of renovations being done on the outside. There is a moderate sized parking lot to the rear of said building. Its accessible by public transportation and Moto vehicle. I would definitely recommend to dine in if you decide to partake in said bounty. The banana 🍌 pancakes 🥞 are awesome 😎😋😋😋😋😋if thats your thing?
Total disaster, the wait was crazy, they would not sit us because the kitchen told them to slow things down. The hostess said they had a terrible shortage of employees and the workers who were present would walk out if she sat people. All I wanted was a nice Sunday morning breakfast and I walked into a war zone instead!
Cool old school diner located right smack in the middle of Freeport’s main thoroughfare. The food is outstanding, the wait staff fun, friendly, and very welcoming, and - did I mention it already? - some times I forget 😑- the drinks are superb. Grab a table, a booth, or ask to be seated at the bar, at the Imperial Diner there are no rights or wrongs, just make yourself at home and be prepared to be awed.Don’t forget to tip your friendly server 🪙

I love this diner so much but seriously their hours always change, some weekends their open until 11 and some until midnight and it makes no sense.
Ive never LOVED diners. I would go to one only if there was no other good option.I moved to Freeport 4 years ago and this was the first place we went to eat in the area. I can officially say that I LOVE this diner!! I actually frequently visit it now and have tried several items on the menu. Ive never had a bad meal! From burgers to penne vodka with grilled chicken, you cant go wrong.Aside from the great food, the host Lana is one of the friendliest and warmest people Ive ever met. She goes above and beyond to take care of people.
Love this place when i eat there, but the last 3 times i ordered ubereats my burger was been a hockey puck even when i ordered it med rare. NOT HAPPY

Can’t beat their curbside pickup lane - didn’t even have to get out of my car! Generous portion sizes and service quality make up for slightly higher prices.
My wife and I wanted a little dinner on Friday so we ordered from the diner. So we mostly got appetizers and my wife ordered these bake clams which are usually good but on Friday they taste as if were left in the refrigerator for too long. She could only eat one, they had a terrible fishy odor. I truly believe she would have gotten sick from eating them. I was stunned of how they looked and tasted. I think they need to check the seafood more often because that can cause serious or fatal consequences.
Milkshake was good, santa fe burger feels and tastes like it’s been dipped in sink water. Fries and onion rings are hot but not crispy, how do you even make onion rings without making it crispy
The food was good but overpriced. The service could have been a better. Waited 20 minutes for a 2nd cup of coffee. Not sure if I would go back. I will think on that and update later.

I LOVE THIS PLACE! Food is really good. Wide selection. Great service whenever I go...beautiful decor. I love to sit in the back there’s a fireplace...so cozy! They have grits!!! If something is not to your liking they will fix it. Never disappointed when I dine here whether it’s breakfast lunch or dinner...you should stop by...oh did I mention their cheesecake???...better leave room 😉...onion rings are to die for!!!
First my milkshake was like a soup and I ordered rare lamb chops that were extremely overcooked. I didnt even take them to go or take more than 1 bite. The server didnt offer to remake or take them off my ticket but I guess thats New York.

HALF COOKED BACON, TASTED LIKE RAW MEAT, i couldnt even finish the second half and the waiter suggested i get a blt wrap without mentioning the price would be raised, overall this was a bad experience for me and my wife.. TO TOP IT OFF THE BILL WAS 40 BEANSS!

I WOULD COME HERE EVERYDAY IF IT OPENED NEARBY! I absolutely love this place because their food is just incredibly delicious. The portions are big so you know youre getting a bang for your buck. The interior is really cute too with the jukeboxes at most tables. Its probably one of the few diners still left standing with them. I came here after a beach day with my friend where seagulls ate our food and we were super hungry and cold. They seated us quickly and brought out tea. The complimentary fries and fruits on the side were just perfect and much appreciated!

Had some guy named Tim Dillon try to sell me a new mortgage. Told me the bigger the loan, the better because my mortgage is the only weapon against the federal government.He did buy my lovely wife pancakes though.Would recommend.
