I had a really great experience using Skyline Windows and Doors two weeks ago to provide and install large wall custom mirrors, covering 2 walls in a room for a dance studio. The installers were very professional and knowledgeable. For example, I was worried about gluing the mirrors to the walls, like is typically done for such large mirrors, because I didnt want to ruin the dry wall. They recommended using J bars on top and bottom and putting a mesh on the back of the mirror so that it doesnt shatter into lots of tiny pieces if it does fall. I had a ton more questions for them, all of which they pleasantly answered. I researched a few other mirror providers in Freeport, NY, but none seemed as well rated and knowledgeable as Skyline Windows and Doors. I am very happy with the job they did. Id had a couple of general contractors come by to bid on replacing five of my painted-shut double-hung windows. I was concerned that all of them were ordering the replacement windows through a truly awful local window/door supplier. They had great ratings and when I had them over for free estimation, I found out why. They had many window options to propose that the other contractors had never mentioned. They were really interested in what I wanted to achieve with new windows (certain types of ventilation in the summer, view, etc.) The Anderson windows I ordered arrived on time, and -- heres the amazing part -- they installed them in just three or four hours, and that included insulating the hollow areas in the walls between each of the windows!
