This place is SUPER organized. The comics are clean and in order. There are some great collectables, and posters with so much too look at.

Just an overwhelming collection of comics theres is none bigger in the city of Fresno.The owner was a deeply kind & caring man that gave me a deep discount on my vintage books as well as allowed my to wash my hands in his back room after & provided me with a free comic book box. I was deeply touched.Then to make things even better he said he would post my own upcoming comic books sake in his store! 😀I will be going back there many times to come in the future.

Took my son in for his 1st comics on his 4th Birthday today. The customer service was what I would expect from a comic store back in the day make you feel like a freind. An over all great experience for my son and me to get back in to the youthful halls of my pass. So grateful that I will cherish this moment from today

This is a great spot if you are looking to fill runs on books. Admittedly all the books are not bagged and boarded but that is more a hold over of the previous owner and the herculean task that new owner has had in getting the shop whipped into shape.Still if you are looking for some harder to find books to fill out bronze age series this is the place for you. Moon Knight, Rom, Dreadstar, Marvel Fanfare, Adventure Comics and tons more. Such a great spot I plan to go back anytime I am in the area.

Awesome place to go for back issues. Tons of books to look through and its fun to dig for those issues youve been looking for. I spent two days there and still wasnt able to look through everything. More than reasonable pricing and the co-owner Timmy is a super cool guy. Dont be put off by initial appearances, the shop is being remodeled and upgraded. Definitely my new go to shop for back issues.

Go there, experience it for your self. Ive never had a problem with these people. Businesses will always have a few customers whos expectations could never be met, But you can find out for yourself. Its quick, simple, and painless.....just go!

I went in on Saturday to search for comic featuring Venom. The guy working there that day (Tommy) was a great help as he too is a Venom fan. The store was clean and nice and he gave me a great deal on my purchase. If you are looking for new stuff or really not a collector then maybe this place isnt for you but if you are looking for back issues that are priced fairly then give them a try.

I honestly dont understand what all these great reviews are talking about. This shop is not what I look for in a comic shop. I dont usually rate businesses, but Id hate for someone to read all these great reviews and be fooled like I was so here goes.Went into this shop and it looked pretty nice. Totally gave the illusion that it was organized and well kept. But to me, it was just organized chaos(generously). The books were really grimy and werent really in any order other than Marvel DC some had letters on them like Marvel A-C but were still out of order because there were many books in those boxes that had nothing to do with the labels.So you have to really search for what you want. I noticed books arent really priced. Well they are, but the prices are from old bags and apparently arent honored. If you manage to sift through all of these books and find what youre looking for youll see a price guide at check out. I understand that some shops opperate this way, but I personally feel that it is poor business. It makes me as the customer feel that I have done all of the hard work going through their chaos and finding more valuable books only to have them decide at the register what I will pay. Knowing that Im not going to do all that work for nothing so I end up buying their books instead of just putting them back.Ive seen a few [what I believe to be] honest reviews, but the rest just dont seem to reflect my experience here. I will be staying away from this shop in the future*As a business suggestion I think they should put up a sign that says Prices on comics bag do not reflect store prices charged

I stopped by last week on a whim. I’m sure glad I did. The shop has been renovated, organized and looks great. I was impressed with how much work had been done to spruce the place up.Tim and his wife could not have been nicer. They were accommodating in my search for Conan The Barbarian back issues. I even found a few books I needed and Tim was very fair on the pricing!I highly recommend you take the time to come see the new and improved Wonderland Comics!

Tim is very informative gentleman behind the counter still has the old atmosphere of Wonderland common since the days a little bit more picked up and organized but its great and Tim is a great informants of comics and figurines check it out and the latest shows

Stopped in on the recommendation of a friend. Wasnt really what I hoped for though:/ store looked pretty clean but the books were kind of unorganized. Felt like looking for a needle in a haystack. If books were in better bags/better condition I would definitely rate higher. Good place to go if youre looking for reader copies though!

My friend and I stopped in and were pretty excited about this shop. Then we got there and a man was sitting in a chair in a disgustingly dirty sweat suit and didnt look like hed bathed in months. The shop was in total disarray and he comics are sun damaged and in poor condition. When I asked about specific comics he simple was like yeah. I have that but wouldnt get up or direct me where they were located. He told us all about how hes been sued for being prejudiced and his run ins with the cops. He then went on to complain for half an hour about how new stores are putting stores like this one out of business and various other tirades. I had to text a friend to call me just to get me out of that store because he wouldnt stop. He complains about not getting business yet doesnt try to be inviting or presentable nor help his customers. He lost a sale because of his lack of professionalism and mannerisms. This store could be great, it looks like it would have many classics and back issues, but finding them is next to impossible.

Clean store, friendly, and knowledgeable staff!They have tons of inventory and if they dont have what youre looking for (hard to believe they wouldnt) they know where to get it!Ive encouraged all my comic loving friends to stop in and check them out!

After reading the reviews on here, I would like to take an opportunity to give everyone an update regarding Wonderland Comics. Within the next 2 months, Wonderland will be under new ownership (fingers crossed), and I promise you that once we get in there, it will be a newer, improved store. Comics will be priced right, easier to access, and all staff will be clean, friendly, and knowledgeable. It is our goal to make Wonderland the best place in the Central Valley for Comics & Collectibles.

Went a while back and they have a great collection and amazing deal for the amount we got just a little curious if its still up and running went by yesterday and no one was there since its far I tried calling before we go but no answer? Does anyone know if wonderland still sells?

Place is awesome an comics are easy to find. Prices are also fair. I was able to get Akira and Motorcycle there, something I been after for awhile.. Great finds if you collect toys.

The proprietors of this store cant take criticism in a professional manner. They say trolls are giving them bad reviews to deflect from valid criticism. You might as well be screaming FAKE NEWS. Stop deluding yourselves Wonderland Comics. I hope they can learn to take feedback instead of plugging their ears. This is a niche market and hobby, having a selection of great comic book stores in Fresno would be fantastic. As it stands, this is not one of them.

I love the people at Wonderland Comics as much as I like the store! If you are looking for a vintage comic or collectible from your childhood... this is WHERE ITS AT!!!!!!! Great people, great store.

I havent been back to this shop in almost 10 years. Decided to give it another shot. Glad I did. My friend and I were very surprised to see how clean the store is. Its still work in progress. The selection is huge and the service has gotten 120% better. The original owner had some medical issue (which is sad) but the new owners are really trying. Give them another shot!

Im now being called a troll by the owners. And accused of having my friends give negative reviews(I can assure you that I did not. I did tell a few friends of my negative experience here just as I said I would. What they chose to do beyond that point is not my responsibility). But for the record I did NOT ask them to do that and I even asked them to actually go to the store before leaving any kind of review. I have been called a Liar and a now a Troll by the owners and its incredibly frustrating. Especially since NOT ONCE have I been reached out to for an apology. If I had been reached out to initially with a simple hey, were sorry about your negative experience and hope you give us another chance then Id have been a WHOLE lot less frustrated. And probably wouldnt have shared my story with my friends and family. But that was not the case. When I WAS reached out to (11 months later) I was shamed for telling the truth. In my opinion, a petty response to an upset customer is poor business.This will be my last review. As a disgruntled customer turned unsettled I hope this store can grow from the experience-Christina

I called this store asking if they had a certain comic i wanted. the person who answered sounded rude to me. like if he had a stick up his butt. like chill dude i just want to know if that comic is there

The new Wonderland comics is the place to go if youre looking for unusual comics, or well known classic titles as well.I had been looking for Viet Nam Journal a suberb gritty b/w book since the initial run in the eighties.Not only did Timmy search half a day to find them,but he had 3 that I needed! I also had Local Artist Ed Luena at A local convention,and needed some of his books for him to sign.He found me a dozen.All the above mentioned books cost me less than $15 total..I want to go back and spend the whole day there.

Wonderland comics takes me back to a time before everyone thought they were comic book experts. And thats saying alot; there is always something to learn or read about your favorite comic book characters here. The selection is the biggest selection of back issues in Fresno county, hands down!! Last but not least, the main man Timmy is always willing to work out deals to meet your needs. Ive tried heroes comics, legends..etc... and none compare with wonderland. This is not a place to get new(worthless) comics! Only classic material available here, which is awesome! Definitely worth a revisit, especially if you havent been there in a few years; its alot nicer now!

Cool, laid back, knowledgeable, and helpful staff. Not in your face trying to sell you something, but very helpful if your looking for something specific or have questions.

Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Plenty of inventory, but thee current layout of the store is not ideal for the casual browser.
