Terrible experience at this store! I called a ahead of time to verify a specific color and size of ballet canvas shoes. The person who answered assured me they had it and even called me back to let me know that they were only accepting cash. When I arrived the person was rude and didn’t even greet me. They took a minute lower the volume of their radio and then proceeded to tell me they had no idea what I was talking about although I had called about twenty minutes prior. The person was short, rude and not helpful. While I was checking out I continue to say have a nice day to them repeatedly and they choose to ignore me! I made sure I said it several times so ensure they heard me. Just plain rude! Definitely will just order online or find a different store.
August 2021. Very weird experience. Joe must have been having a bad day because me and my family all agreed that he was short-tempered, moody and rushing to sell. He refused to take credit cards and accepted cash only because he said technically he wasn’t open until September. It felt like we were dealing with a used car dealer in a rush to make a sell. His brands include Capezio, SoDance and Bioch. Amazon sells some.
The lady was rude stated we need an appointment for a fitting. She called the man to see if he had time to help and he was very nice, very helpful. Prices were decent Not going back. They had me buy unnecessary stuff and I felt like I couldn’t say no.
Im a mom of 3 kids a 4 year old, a 2 year old and a 3 month old. I have no time to BS the man was very nice and understanding with my 2 year old that was crying and screaming (social problems). I was in and out with in 20 minutes with everything I needed. Love the place will definitely go back.
Joe is amazing. Very helpful. I went online originally... Now I buy everything local.
Joseph is top notch! Always takes time with my girls to make sure they understand what they’re getting, and makes sure they get the right thing for them.

Very rude guy didnt even really want to help me if I wasnt going to buy something i told him I needed basic tap shoes and he tries to sell me shoes that were about $85. Not going back here again.
In going to rate Sunny Side Dancewear 3stars because it took at least 30min. to did and when I went I got tap shoes for like $80 when I could of went to Dance Bag Modesto and got them over there for $40.
The prices could be better on the people with finance problems.
