There is no way to get ahold of ANYONE from this store ever. Ive been trying to contact them for a week about a hitch installation that is ALREADY PAID FOR and they cant even send a confirmation, or answer a phone or call back when I left a message for the manager. Oh but they are totally willing to cancel the order on their chat. Screw this place dont give them your money. They have NO RESPECT for their customers
STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!! My catalytic converter was taken off of my car while on their property AND one of their employees STOLE MY TOOLS from the uhaul I dropped off. I dropped off at 130am 1 night, found my car vandalized. Left in a panic. Came back the next day for my tools and everyone claims they werent there including the manager when they couldnt have been anywhere else! Definitely some sketchy activity going on here.
I believe the guy that helped me was Jacob spoon. Extremely helpful and provided a solution when my trailer adapter connection did not work. Was a difference from the guy who works at the Blythe location behind Ramos furniture on Shaw Ave. DO NoT go to the Blythe location people. The guy working there (white 45 year old red colored hair) is very rude.Deal with Spoon instead. He knows his stuff.
Apparently this location likes one star reviews so here’s another. My husband called last week to inquire about having a tow hitch installed on our Jeep. After hearing the price we were ecstatic! Definitely cheaper than having the dealership do it, so my husband made an appointment for Monday with a 7am drop off time. Today is Sunday and after discussing the logistics of getting to Fresno (a 45min drive for us) we thought maybe we would call to find out if we could drop the car off tonight so that he wouldn’t be stranded with our daughter waiting for the work to be done since I work in the morning. He called and waited on hold about 15min. When his call was finally taken he was told yes we could drop it off tonight. So we drive both of our vehicles to Fresno only to be told that no, we are not able to leave are vehicle there overnight. We were also informed that when he called to ask, his call was taken by a call center and not this actual location. So here we are, approx 120 miles worth of waisted gas and 2 ish hours of time. If your company is going to utilize a call center then perhaps you should insure that the information they are giving out is correct. This was an incredibly infuriating experience and if there were other reasonably priced options for having this work done, then absolutely we would not be giving this location our business.
I had the equipment for 3 days and the prices jumped near half a thousand dollars. It will financially cripple you!!!!! Especially in this pandemic with work being minimum. I went to talk in person everyday that I had the equipment and they didn’t care. Every day, 3 out of 3 days I had open commutation and they still charged me $500+. I am financially crippled now. Horrible horrible if you are not prepared to pay a ton of money. I was expecting a call back on the second day but the lady didn’t call me back as she told me she would. I recorded my conversation in my phone when I paid and they didn’t care about my situation. Will financially cripple you!!! Cannot stress that enough!!!!!!!
They rescheduled me 3 times, didnt care I had a deadline, on the 3rd time lied and said my frame was bent and couldnt install a hitch.Took the parts and installed it myself in twenty minutes. This U-haul place is a joke. Do NOT go here!!
The truck was absolutely filthy! In times if COVID this is unacceptable that they are not sanitizing their vehicles before releasing to the next customer. The employee in Fresno North Blackstone stood next to me without a mask, too. Another employee told me the trucks turn over too quickly to clean. I’m sorry, but U-Haul must do better. Please do better!

Aftwr waiting on hold I made a reservation by phone on wed. to reserve a 20 box truck Fri am & received an email confirmation. The next morning they canceled my truck. I again called & was put on hold & asked why theyd reserve me a truck just to cancel hrs later. The so called supervisor was very short unprofessional & could not answer the question. After asking several times for ANY size truck & ANY available I was finally able to pull out of her a 10 box truck. She refused to be friendly or even offer a discount for their obvious mistakes & poor service. 0 starts. I dont reccomend.

The Moving Center General Manager, Robert Anderson Jr has the worst customer service “lack of” skills I’ve ever experienced. It is a Ghetto location, you will receive Ghetto customer service, so avoid at all costs. I will personally drive across town before I ever return to this U-Haul location. Robert Anderson obviously is of a lower IQ, I actually feel bad for people that work for him, must be a living hell, especially having to take directions from an idiot?
I found when calling the 800 number and speaking to a representative, they were very helpful and forgiving. I rented a uhaul for 3 hours, only to find that when I went to pick up my purchase I needed the uhaul for, the store was closed. I needed the rental for at least 20 hours in order to work on all my ends. The only complaint I would really have was that the local store closed at 7pm, the phone support was also closed at that time, so I took a chance that my rental wouldve the same cost to extend the hours, but I really had no idea. Well after speaking to the phone support the next day, they waived my extra day fee.When turning in the vehicle the local staff, they wanted to charge me still, so I did my check out via online and it all came out like it was promised! Thank you!
They are rude at this place good luck getting a smiling face. The employees act like you are going to be rude to them so they might as well be rude to you first. I can say the lady that works behind the counter is nice and helpful.

I made an appointment with this uhaul store on the 25th of June for the 3rd of July to get a hitch. After driving 45 minutes from Lemoore, because this is one of the only places that installs hitches, I was told they didnt have it in stock and that they would call me to reschedule. I waited the following week to hear back from them and ended up having to call them back on Friday to see what was going on. I was told they went ahead and rescheduled me for that same day and that I had missed my appointment. I was never called and told about this rescheduling. Of course I was a little upset. I ended up getting in at 3.30pm, however I get there at 3 and waiting until 4.30pm for them even to touch the vehicle. When they finally get to it they tell me theyre gonna have to charge me extra for labor. Theyre customer service was horrible and even after speaking with the manager he acted like he didnt even care. I hope to never have to deal with this branch again and hope others dont have the same experience that I did. I wouldve rather gone to the dealership and paid more money for better service.

1 worker there did not explain the insurance for the rental clearly and said that you get the $10 back like it was a refundable deposit. That was a lie. I explained about the matter to the next worker who did nothing but say, Next time you dont have to get it.Thats okay because next time I dont need to worry about getting it or not... cause there wont be a next time ever again... with U or Uhaul in general.
It’s a terrible place. I rented a minivan with graffiti on it. (I don’t know if it was left a few weeks ago or a few years ago). The manager who inspects the vehicle needs us to pay fifty dollars for it, Jack? ? Hehe...ssss

Arrived at 7:15 with a reservation. The man who arranges the orders tells the lady who is also arranging the orders that he is making a store run. Does she need smokes or anything? There is a line of customers. He doesn’t care whatsoever. It took 45 minutes just to get checked out with a reservation. The caliber of the work force is very sub par and service is terrible
Horrible customer service. Pulled in and parked. No other customers in sight. Told to go park on Blackstone and come back. Plenty of spots inside but have to park on a busy street instead. No thanks not wasting my money here.
Had a reservation for a 26’ van, called and confirmed 48 hours prior to pick up. When I got to the location the lady at the desk told me that they don’t have any availability. I had movers scheduled and had to cancel my moving plans. What is the point of making a reservation and confirm it only to be told there’s no availability the day of pick up? Frustrating!
Do not bother with this place. Its a joke. It took an hour just to reserve 3 dollies. Its worse than the DMV. They only have 5 customer parking spots! Even though they have plenty of vacant spots where the Uhaul trucks are parked, they force you to park on Blackstone. Whoever is running this place clearly cannot connect the dots. If you quickly help customers inside, you wouldnt have to worry about them parked outside for so long. There you go, genius! Problem solved! It gets worse...the day of our rental pickup they tell us they only have 1. What is the purpose of making a reservation!?
Always stocked and customer service is excellent. Just wished the checkout line could move faster, maybe they should have a line for customers purchasing boxes and packing materials on Friday,Saturday and Sundays.

Hooked up a faulty auto trailer to my truck called to put a calm in for the damage it did to my truck they refused to do anything about it definitely won’t ever get my business again
The manager Rob was very rude, especially to woman. Refused to let us drop our uhaul off at a different location despite our paperwork specifically saying we could. They all resort to insulting customers instead of trying to help. If you enjoy being treating kindly, and with respect and being not being overcharged DO NOT use this location.

Have rented a number of times, while a bit congested and slow, they do a good job and are always friendly and helpful.
Returned my retail after hours and was charged 20 dollars because i didnt take a picture at the location. I had a dead phone. When i charged my phone the uhaul website wouldnt allow me to continue from my house. Apparently you have to be at the location with a picture to proceed. However, they were quick to charge me at 630 in the morning. Doesnt make any sense

Worst customers services ever. Waited 40 minutes to buy boxes and tape. There is never any customer parking. You have to park on the street( Blackstone which is always busy). I asked an employee if employees park in the customer parking spots because all the spots were taken. He said some customers leave their cars there to test drive the Uhauls. Then a lady crowded everyone because an employee outside said she get her money back without waiting. This Uhaul store barely deserves 1star.
Best place in town to get a hitch and wiring on your vehicle installed ! Wouldn’t go anywhere else. Took my truck in to get hitched up, and within a couple hours, BAM!!! He was finished. Now I’m ready to pull any trailer I want!! Yes!!
What is the point in calling ahead if you still have to wait over an hour in line. There is only 1 person processing reservations while the other do nothing.
I am traveling from Medford O.R. to Houston Texas for my son to have lung transplant so its a stressful trip for us .I had my tow package put on in medford everything was good but then I lost my lights i went to 5 U-Hauls and called 3 times. Finally a women put me into contact with Sarah who was so amazing but also could not find anyone near me to help me and I was still 2 hrs from her location so her manager Rob told her to tell me to get there and he will fix it himself. So we got there and he had it fixed in 30 sec after no one else from any other location would even take the time to look at it.THANK YOU ROB AND SARAH FOR EVERYTHING.
This is the worst U-Haul Ive ever visited. They dont have enough staff, and are horribly organized, so that if all you need is some boxes, you have to wait in a long line behind people renting trucks, which of course, takes a long time. There is one woman who works there, and she works as fast as she can and is kind. But there are male managers who wander through and do nothing to help. It is infuriating. Find someplace else.

THE GOOD: Excellent selection of moving items, all attractively displayed with prices clearly marked. Store is clean, well lighted and spacious.THE BAD: Customer service is nonexistent. Waited in line for twenty-five minutes to purchase four cardboard boxes with cash in hand. There was one employee working the counter (the owner) with nearly a dozen people in line. I watched several people leave in disgust. You have to want something they have pretty badly to put up with can only be described as deplorable customer skills. I have no incentive to return.
We are traveling and stopped by in our RV to get propane. Wonderful guys! They went out of thier way to take care of us.

Just went to fill up a small propane tank, they say they close at 7. We showed up at 6:50 and they refused to give us service. I asked for the number of their manager and told them that to turn away business before they are actually closed was poor customer service. Once I said that they were willing to fill up our tank. We left the facility right at 7. Having worked in customer service I can understand the last minute customers usually keep the associates late but its a buisness, why would you turn us away when you havent locked your doors yet?
You always have to wait in line at this location! Never seem to have enough help. Employees are indifferent. No benefit to reserving ahead if time - you wait just as long as people who didnt have a reservation! Only reason to use this location is if you cant find what you are looking for at another store!In addition, tried Uhauls supposed Express Checkin - would not let me get past the complete page!You could die waiting in line here!

In and out great timing
Went to get a trailer so I could tow my car. Everything was going smoothly until their trained employee installed the trailer. Drove about 20 miles & tried to load my car into the trailer and POP goes the trailer crashing into my tailgate. I immediately filed a report and they said the damages would be covered. They signed some papers saying they would pay. Now after the repairs were done theyre telling me they wont pay or cover damages that it was my responsibility to check all connections; As if Im knowledgeable or experienced enough to know what to look for. I DO NOT recommend this place to anyone. Their crooks and liars but if you want to be put at risk by their untrained employees who are supervised by incompetent management then this is the place for you.
This place is horrible. The lady at the counter tells me that shes gonna have to charge me with 25 dollar foe gas. I wasnt mad at that but mad at the fact that i have to pay but i was mad that she was throwing in a fit at me by saying that I cant turn back the contact and she gonna charge, me anyways. I was just trying to make sure if its right cause I wasnt the one who rent it and was making sure by making a call n she acted like if she has no patients. Most likely to no return....
When Ive repeatedly called and have only got to talk to speak with a answering service lady that says someone from this store will be contacting me within mins and never calls me back I mean never! I just had 1 simple question it could have at the most been only a minute of time.
Worst place in town! Employees are unmotivated and extremely slow. They are always understaffed. Just having a lot porter to bring up trucks instead of people behind the counter going in and out a bunch of times would be a step in the right direction.Look up inefficient in the dictionary and there will a picture of UHaul.

Terrible experience!!!! Rude employees!!!!! No parking available. No direction or attendant to let us know where we should go. The main office was full of people standing around with no seating complaining that they had been waiting a long time. The employees were unhelpful, unkind and unnecessarily confrontational. No eye contact. No smiles. These people seriously hate their jobs. The wrong vehicle was reserved for us. Will never do business here again. Seriously disappointed.
Please explain why U Haul needs to input my name, my cell phone number, and my e-mail before giving me the quote I called up for? That was annoying. But when, having given me the quote, I was told that the quote would change if I called them back after running the info by my husband, well, thats not customer service. Thats extortion. Try the U Haul in Oakhurst where a person answers instead of a machine, and you get the rate without having to pay anything (your contact info) first.
Wow. Horrible customer service in the morning. Had only one person working. Truck was dirty. Blankets all over the back. Dolly unlocked. Gave two stars because the drop off was slightly more tolerable.
About the worst customer service Ive encountered at any uhaul location. Easily 5 uhaul employees aimlessly wondering around outside not able to do anything but reference that you go inside and wait in the long ass like line that barely moves. Inside they have 1 person behind the desk taking his swwwweeeeeeeeeet time.
I had wanted to drop up the truck at this location but it wouldnt take it so I had to drive all the way in circles to try to find a place to drop it off so it cost me an hours worth of time... they suck

Wow, reserved A U-haul over the phone, attempted to use Express check in. Website was not responding. Line here on 6116 Blackstone was ridiculous theres only one cashier and after 45 min in line Im still here. So disappointed .
This place user to be terrible, with 1+ hour lines. But they seem to have improved a lot since then - last couple of times they were quick and efficient, no waiting at all.

This is THEEEEE worst uhaul store to come to cashiers are horribly slow, garunteed only 1 cashier in the entire store on a busy saturday. Waited in cashiers line for 1 hour to get a trailer... then go out to check trailer lights then, come back in and wait anther 30 mins to finally get checked out THEE WORST! nvr again nvr again learned my leason!!. I know uhaul and store managers will see this review i REALLY hope something to change for better customer satisfaction and customer service. YES Im a walk in customer, no reservation however the online app doesnt work

Very dissappointed that the fuel level was inaccurate. I picked up a 15 foot at Full and traveled 21 miles total in town. It then took 9 gallons to fill the tank before I returned it. Ive used plenty of uhauls & it does not take a uhaul 9 gallons of gas to travel 21 miles. Its unethical to mark the fuel level as Full on the form when it isnt, even if the fuel dial is close to full. This location said they could not lower the fee to make up for the extra gas I should not have had to pay for. Its a small amount of money, but on principle the gas policy feels like a sham.
Rented the truck and it smelt like someone had just smoked a cigarette in it. I was told to return it between 3/4 and 7/8 gas tank which I did and still got charged 10.50 for gas when I returned it, also got charged a 25.00 cleaning fee? I call to inform them and no one answered so I left a voicemail with my number and still no return phone call.

Insisted on a 6 hour rental for a 15 foot truck. Of course it took 8 hours to do the job. We wanted a 24 hour rental 😕
Total disaster. Nobody hooked us up so my fiancee did it himself. Mexican employee gave us terrible customer service and attitude. The manager didnt even step in to fix the problem or to tell the rude employee to step away. My fiancee was heated with his smart ass remarks.

There was an older lady named sarge or something like that she was very rude. She kept making jokes & would keep on until we laughed at them, it was very awkward & uncomfortable. Not only that but gave us a rusty old uhaul that shook & jerked as you drove it.
DO NOT...Worst U-Haul experience ever. I went to attach a hitch, my SUV have a wiring for hitch, instead of using that they tried to do wiring from brake lights, blew the fuse, put a higher fuse(cant be more stupid), and blew up the relays and end up destroying all the lightings in the SUV..Then I had go to the dealer to fix it and it costed me way more than that, and they did not end up paying that too
Made my reservation online. Came in and they had no trucks. They were clearly having troubles with their system. They told me there was nothing they could do except offer another day to rent a truck. Will not be returning as a customer.
