Rating it based of their wide selection. Staff can be off putting at times but they also seem super busy. Huge VHS selection 😊

Just went here the first time on Saturday, went looking for vintage albums and was surprisingly disappointed, not a real good selection and what they did have was subpar. If you are looking new albums they have quite a selection. New larger store had huge selection of CD’s, movies and a large bookstore section.

Currently have a small sign outside that says closed. Its only 5:45pm. No idea of its just today or because theyre moving.

Gives me the same excitement as I used to get when I would walk into a Blockbuster video. It has a cool atmosphere and a friendly helpful staff.

Great, seems to have new vinyl regularly. Too much CDs for my taste. Personal is nice. Would be nice if the were not closed 2 days out of the week.

Closed moved next door to mad monks pink blue blging. Packed full of stuff. CDs, Records. Books, record players, Tshirts .. posters. Ect, ect, ect...

This is a great store for used and new media. There are constant deals for CDs and DVDs. The collection of LPs, new and old, is good sized with the majority being jazz and classical.We always find something whenever we stop in. Definitely worth checking out.

Never had a problem at Rasputins found all the movies we were looking for on DVD and VHS and the was Professional and Courteous cant wait to see where the move to cause well be there Thank You Rasputins

Used to love this place but here we are in June 2021, checking temps, not allowing a 3 year old to walk in the store because he doesnt have a mask (as if that makes any sense at all), reps inside store got attitude if you ask them where you would find a certain anything, just another store gone to s***.

Rasputin is awesome especially for (we) who cant afford luxury of cable or Internet TV. Like Life- Liberty and pursuit of affordable entertainment!

This place is great! They have tshirts, music, movies and all at great prices. Its great place when you have time to burn. You go here to hunt for that rare find you cant get anywhere else.

Great selection of Cds and Dvds and music related stuff

If youre a movie buff wading through the $1.95 buy ten get five free section, youll come across piles and piles of garbage. But be patient. Be persistent. Amongst all the muck, theres hundreds of little diamonds waiting to be uncovered, and sometimes the thrill of those discoveries are truly exhilarating. Pictured are 45 movies I found and got for less than 60 bucks one time. This doesnt even include some of the best stuff Ive found on other days Ive gone. I dont know of any other place in Fresno that deals in physical media with more value to the dollar than Rasputins.In addition to movies, Ive also purchased quite a few records here. The value to the dollar you get for music is not as exciting as it is for the movies, but the selection is still excellent, and youd have to scour thrift shops in Clovis to find a better selection of records than youll find here.

Wide variety of dvds & cds. Cds need to be more categorized ☹️.The customer service person was a little pushy and abrupt on trying to sell me 10 dvds for 99 cents at checkout. I didnt care for his abruptness 👎

Pretty good selection of media. Used vinyl selection was pretty well picked through but they have some new stuff thats not terrible. VHS tapes also for sale if you wanted some of those for whatever reason.

I had a lot fun stopping by and found some great records. Theres a wide selection of vinyl records and tapes.

Unbelievable that theyve managed to stay open with how incredibly rude and snotty the staff is. I dont normally leave bad reviews, but my experience today takes the cake. They kept accusing me of being some random person I guess they didnt want there. They had absolutely NO proof. The smug staff guy said I never forget a face! I could tell that he was lying. He was so condescending and wouldnt tell me anything about what was going on, so for all I know he made it up. Im really not sure if it was a real thing or if the guy was just on a power trip. I wouldnt recommend giving them your business if this is how they treat customers. There are better shops in Fresno with staff that actually acts professional. They actually threatened me and I dont wanna give my money to people that treat me like that, although I am a patient person so i did try to reason with them. By far they have the worst customer service Ive ever seen and its not worth the few dollars you might save.

If you have the time to meander and are willing to search for some great bargains go through their bargain bins! You never know what great films you’ll find for 50 cents to a dollar!! Other than that their films are well organized by categories and their staff are very willing to check to see if they have certain titles in stock. But...if you find a hard to find film you’ve been searching for get it! Otherwise it may not be there the next time. This happened to me twice. Love Rasputin Music.

OMG! It is Thursday, May 21, 2020 and the City of Fresno has just announced doing away with the Citys shelter-in-place orders as of 12:02a.m. Tuesday, May 26 and all stores will be able to be open and back in business. I am so psyched. Am an avid customer of Rasputin Music in Fresno and am chomping at the bit to come in and start spending money again at your store. I m a huge movie collector so they have what I like

My daughter enjoys going there for all her favorite movies and to see what other great items they have, we are there at least two days out of the week, the employees there are very nice and always helpful, the prices are the best, never had any problems with cds being they check them all before you buy.. AMAZING DEALS! Just went in the other day and they have DVDs for under a dollar! They have it all! Books, video games, t- shirts, music CDs,records, VHS, DVDs...you name it! Great store, I collect music CDs and I always find good pickups here. I just wish they content was better categorized. Megadeth, Metallica, Pantera are all in Rock and not Metal which is the case for most classic metal bands and thats just crazy. Journey and Megadeth are not the same category no matter how you slice it. Still its my favorite place to shop locally for music.

So this is the place where you can walk in with two dollars and walk out with entertainment. Whether you are into music or movies, TV shows, video games or just people watching theres always something. They have the coolest rock band t-shirts of all times. Give yourself time to roam around if you dont have any specific titles in mind. But if you do call ahead and ask them to hold it for you because things move quickly in here. Overall I like this store very much and recommend it for the whole family.

This place is so full of movies, music, and more that you can get lost in here for hours. Spent two hours in here with my boyfriend, it makes for a perfect date just going through all the classic movies and shows. Ill definitely keep coming back here every chance I get.

I have so many movies and most of them are from here. They have good deals and we have been going for very many years. They have very many genres of movies and even music CDs. The staff is helpful and nice.

Im always surprised with what I am able to find here. This place feel like a time capsule where you sink in and easily get carried away with everything. The prices range depending on how much youre willing to spend. You can find a brand new movie/CD for its original price or settle for a used one for what seems dirt cheap to me.

This place is fantastic. New stuff all the time. I know I can get stuff digitally but I enjoy the hard copies of music. Listening to the CDs as they originally intended. Plus I like the inserts too. Cool old school rock t-shirts as well.

This place is cool. They a large selection of both CDs from all genres and ages along with an amazingly huge selection of movies. There arent many movie places like this anymore and I think thats a shame so the movies and CD selection is cool

Not really a store for vinyl heads anymore. What they have is extremely over priced and every time I come here the selection gets smaller and smaller and smaller. Really don’t know where this store is going anymore, if its a movie store or a used CD store or book store? They got a little of everything I guess but it used to be great for vinyl.
