Great experience. They carried very high-end brands. Were extremely helpful. The young lady even called the owner to answer some of my questions. He was at the original location (she then informed me this was their 2nd location of 4 years. My visit makes me want to visit the original store-which I will). Didnt get to meet the owner Jimmy Zaid, but he assisted me with taking the call to answer questions, much appreciated. I have known about this company due to their active online presence, and was finally able to physically visit. They stated theyre starting a Facebook page for the Friendswood location very soon. I purchased some great cigars. It was a wonderful shopping experience. I highly recommend R&J cigars for their great selection & top notch customer service. Try their Inception cigar, which I was told will be available again in Sept 18. Its a damn good smoke.

Usually no problem, they always have what I want. Got there at ten til 7 tonight and they were closed. Had a long day, came a long way, just wanted to get home and relax with a stogi. Since no ones open on Sunday, my weekend is shot. Im pretty disappointed.

If you walk into either R & J Cigars, youre a customer for life. Their Pearland location is smaller, but has an incredible selection for the size. The guys that hang around in the lounge are great and always welcoming; there is no clique feeling here.The Friendswood location is amazing! Its large, spacious, their selection is incredible, and their lounge is the nicest in the area. They welcome BYOB and provide glasses and ice. TVs everywhere. Jimmy is wonderful to deal with and really knows his cigars. He breaks down suggestions by telling you complexities and flavor profiles of the cigars he recommends.Lastly, if you are the type that is always after the rare and limited, these get more Opus X and Liga Privada than any store I know in all of Houston! Absolutely amazing.
