***MUST READ THE ENTIRE REVIEW :D!!***I’d have to say as a first time buyer from this store my experience was VERY emotional!I was helped by Ms. Kathy who is the stores manager she helped me with my custom piece as well as her lovely employee (I apologize. I didn’t get her name).The piece I wanted for my mother’s jewelry box was ordered a week ahead of time but unfortunately it had gotten lost in shipping. With Mother’s Day weekend (2021) approaching I was at a tense level of stress. She called and let me know that they had a plaque that they received in their order that morning (assuming it looked exactly like what I ordered) I knew it was silver, but didn’t know the finish on it was going to be shiny instead of matte, and the size was different from the one that was ordered. The engraving was correct, but me being me I wasn’t happy with the outcome because I was expecting what I ordered.Now I was stuck wondering how I was going to get something in time for Mother’s Day to replace the exact plaque I wanted. I’m on the phone at this point and Ms. Kathy overheard me criticizing my gift of choice whilst we are at the checkout counter. WELL I TELL YOU ONE THING in that moment she came through and basically stopped me in my tracks! She went out of MANAGER mode and straight into MOM MODE! She assured me that the amount of effort and thought I was putting into my Mother’s gift she’d definitely accept what she was being given. From there I broke into tears she came from around the counter and gave me a hug! I was touched that she’d take the time come from around the counter to comfort me (the customer) as well as assure me that even though there was a small slip up the gift still has so much meaning and thought to it. The experience was very special to me. The store’s customer and other employees was moved by it as well! I definitely will be back! If that’s not customer service I don’t know what is!!

Bought a wedding picture frame good piece and good service
Wife and myself bought a wallet card for our son that was going into the air force and we were asked what to have engraved on it and how it was to be placed on the card.We went back next day to pick it up and it was wrong.Of course we dis not have time to have it done over it was being given to our son that day.They looked in the store for another wallet card and was told no more in stock.Two hours later we got a call they found one.We noticed the employee there didnt even look for it they said we are out.Not sure how one suddenly appears

A personalized item I purchased online for store pickup was engraved with an error. They profusely apologized and engraved a new product on the spot. I was out of the store within 20 minutes during the weekend-before-Christmas rush. Very pleased with their customer service.

Things were busy today I would recommend ordering online and then picking up at the store later in the day. You could also do it first and then go look at the other stores if youre getting your things engraved. Overall good experience and personnel on the floor were friendly.
I always love my purchases here. Again, another beautiful gift but I didnt care for the lady who was working at the time. She looked to be the only person there and was cleaning up like an obsessive compulsive. Great that you want it to be cleaned but look up and notice that someone is waiting to be served. Slightly irritating
They have looks for cool looking things here but the prices are really high on a lot of items, to me this is more of a special gift type of place such as baby shower, graduation, mothers day, etc. They do have a lot of sales which is usually buy 1 get 1 50% off but the prices are still high fyi. They do have a lifetime points membership that cost $10 for a lifetime that of course the more you spend the more points you get and then you get like a coupon for money off. The staff are more about the stores daily functions and less about selling to the customers but I think it is because I usually only see like 2 people in the store and 1 person is usually doing the engraving cause this store gets a lot of jobs for engraving which is also really expensive.

It was only $15 to get my name embroidered. The gentleman who was there was very kind and polite and answered all of my questions. Would recommend and will return if I need any further work done.
Chris, the manager, was extremely unprofessional. He spoke to my girlfriend with great disrespect and made her cry. I had a hard time leaving the store peacefully..
I just experienced the rudest and worst customer service in my life. It was from the manager of the store Georgia. I only wish I would of known before I gave my business to this store. I will never ever do that again.
Get engraving done there. They accidentally engraved what we wanted upside down on a pocket watch recently. So give detailed instructions.
The young man that waited in me was awesome. I think his name was Coleman. He coulsnt engrave the item I brought but came up with an alternate solution that worked even better and engraved it while I waited.Thank you so much
Great Place to buy a gift for a Special person in your life . A little high priced, but, a good place to go in search of a unique gift for Graduation, Wedding, Anniversary, Bridal Shower, etc...
Christopher was very nice and helpful we bought a necklace for our goddaughter for her birthday and got it engraved with her name.
Love this place, I have gotten wedding to birthday gifts here, if they dont have in store they can order it for you no problem. I love the manager guy at our store he is super friendly and does try to get you whatever it is you want even if he doesnt carry it, definitely recommend

I was at Baybrook Mall yesterday from 10AM-11AM. All of the stores I entered gave me great customer service. The moment I walked into Things Remembered, I wish I hadnt. I took a MK watch to the store to have it engraved. The lady with brunette hair who was the only one working there Friday morning between 10-11AM did not provide decent customer service. I told her I wanted to engrave the back of the face and she rudely asks How much did you pay for the watch?. I told her how much and she had this attitude as if she didnt want to be bothered. She then rudely told me to pull the watch out of the box, (I was struggling a bit because it was snug inside). She was impatient and wanted to get me out of the store. I handed her the watch and she said go back to Michael Kors and have a link removed and then come back. I have never had a watch engraved so I asked why I would have to have a link removed. It seemed like my question pissed her off. Her eyes rolled up and she took a deep sigh and rudely said how her machine only goes up and down and that she cant engrave with a link in the way. I said ok and as I was putting the watch back into the box she walked away. I have worked in retail and in real estate for over 4 years. I know how customers should be treated. She should not be working at Things Remembered if her ugly attitude is going to come out to the customers. It is a bad representation to the company and it loses business.

I used this Things Remembered location twice in the course of my wedding preparations. The first time, I took our champagne glasses there, and they did a terrific job. Their customer service was great. The second time, however, was a NIGHTMARE! I had picked out the small silver dog-tags with cross for my ring-bearer. The manager helped me with the spelling and spacing of the writing; upon her question and my SPECIFIC request, I chose to put Ringbearer as one word, as Id seen it both ways. When I went to pick them up, they had split it into two words and NOT capitalized the word bearer. When I questioned the lady behind the counter as to WHY they had done this, she immediately got this ugly attitude and told me that it was SUPPOSED to be two words. I said, Ok, but you should have called me before making any changes like this; that is what my phone number is for. Instantly, she began arguing back and forth with me about how it was SUPPOSED to be two words, that I was WRONG. When I asked her why they hadnt capitalized the B in the second word, she told me, Because you didnt capitalize it on the custom form. When I responded with, yes, because I put it down as one word; your manager was right there and specifically asked me what I wanted... Again, she turned it around on me and said it was all my fault, I was wrong, etc. Everything I said, she argued with me and made it back to be MY fault. Interestingly enough, the manager was standing there the ENTIRE time and never said a peep. When I told them I was NOT happy with the result, she offered to fix it and asked me what I wanted done. Again, her attitude was horrible and NOT about making me, the customer, happy. The second set of dog tags was better, I was pleased with the results, but I would NOT, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES recommend this store to anyone! The attitudes of the people behind the counter is terrible, and I am never going back there!!
The lady that works there has THE WORST ATTITUDE!!! I have been to this location on two separate situations. The first time was during Christmas so I just assumed that she was overwhelmed still didnt make her attitude okay but I could sympathize since Ive worked retail as well. The second time was this past February and my husband went in there to inquire if it was possible to engrave his stethoscope. He asked her and she very rudely said I dont engraves stethoscopes in my store. At that point I will never ever go to this store again. Or any other for that matter.
