Does not price match. Bug spray was 14.99 here and only 9.48 at big box store. I try and shop local but not when prices are off this much. Sorry guys, probably won’t return.

You can get hard to find stuff for your home and there is always someone ready to help you find what you are looking for.

As soon as the TexasSnowpocalypse2021 calmed down a bit I ventured out and went to Ace looking for parts to fix my sink because of all the sediment in the lines. There were several team members waiting by the entrance ready to go to offer their assistance to folks as soon as they walked in. Kevin greeted and asked me how to help... Im not a plumber so Im obviously not using the proper terminology for anything but he translated my caveman style grunts and figured out exactly what I needed. I actually learned a lot because I have a 45 year old house and never understood why the new lines I bought would not fit the pipes I had. Turns out there was an update where they began using compressed threads and blah blah... you dont need to know about all that. Anyway, I got the parts I needed, I learned something I didnt know which has been and will be extremely helpful with all my under the sink adventures in the future. I really challenged Kevin to figure out a way to cap one of my lines that go to the the dishwasher but obviously they were low on parts due to the demand. We reached out to the owner (I assume its the owner) and he figured out a creative solution with the parts that were on hand. Everything worked out perfect. This would not have happened at Lowes... I stood in that aisle with the 30 other people that were there were simply not enough staff to help answer everyones questions.I couldnt be happier. Im so happy I was able to support small business as well! Big thank you to Kevin and Bossman for helping me out.

When there is a crisis in a town most people come together. I’ve been in to buy some water in the store and they raise the price of it up I cannot believe they would do that

The staff is very helpful and the owner, Jeremy, is a great guy. Everyone is very well trained and knowledgeable and Im happy to support a small business owner whenever I can. Highly recommended, particularly for power equipment diagnosis and repair.

I like coming to this location because its close to where I live. The three staff, two young men and the young lady, gave me great customer service! They helped me find what I was looking for and I was out of the store in no time. Fast and friendly service! Im definitely coming back.

Convenient location and helpful employees, but when you get Ace hardware ads online that indicate a sale on an item, apparently there are no guarantees theyll honor it at this store. Caused a waste of my time and gas.

This is such a wonderful place to shop for many different things. I personally am so tired of standing behind 10 people in the super stores to give them our hard earned $$. Its sooovery worth it to pay a small amount more to avoid feeling like a herd of cattle only to get poor customer service as I hand over part of my pay check. The customer service is so nice here. You almost feel as if youve travelled back in time when merchants knew who buttered their bread & we were happy to do business!

Beware: 30 day return policy for even simple brass fittings. If you like to buy parts and tools weeks in advance of a big home project, DO NOT buy from here. Go to Lowes or Home Depot, both stores have return periods 3 times longer than here.

Robert worked with me on filling my propane tank for my rv. He was able to fill the tank quickly and safely. This place is has a highly trained staff and has always been very helpful with all of my purchases.

Great local hardware store. It seems to me that the store is a bit cramped. Not a big deal for me, though. The staff is always friendly and ready to help. I enjoy going here and would pick it before a big box store. They also have the Randy Lemmon lawn fertilization schedule posted and they stock all of the products that are on it.

At age they are very helpful and kind people. They are also very knowledgeable. I will continue to do business at this Ace hardware for as long as they are open.

The personalized attention was so much better than the bog stores like Lowes and Home Depot. They were truly interested in helping me find what I was looking for and made me feel welcomed and appreciated. They will definitely be my first choice for any future needs.

Asked a manager about help with returning a firearm that was purchased from Keiths Ace HARDWARE, in Brady, Tx. He tells me they have nothing to do with Ace Cash Express... Yeah. Then proceeds to promise me that wherever I purchased the gun, is a completely different company because he doesnt deal with guns... My one thought, please try just a little harder when fabricating the applications for that place, its ridiculous.

After Harvey when the big box stores were out of almost everything, Magnuson had what I needed. The staff took me right down the isle and picked up the item and placed it in my hand. They were helpful, courteous, and friendly. For years now I always bring my 20# propane tank for refill and even bought two (2) new tanks before Harvey and had them filled. If you dont know, their tanks hold an honest 20 pounds at a very reasonable price. Compare that to what you buy anywhere else. Their people fill my tank and place it in my vehicle!I find the cashier helpful and friendly. I wish they had more square feet and carried more hard to find items, but I am thankful for what they have and their service to Friendswood. I understand that they cannot buy in huge rail car quantities like big box stores and so they cannot sell at big box prices.When I need a replacement spare key, they are always there. One time, the key did not work and they offered me two more replacements at no additional cost and both worked! When I needed emergency toilet repair parts, they had them and the cost was no more than big box prices.I know that when I go to Lowes, trying to find a helpful employee is like trying to find a flopping catfish in the middle of 518 in the summer drought in Friendswood. I also know that when I walk into Magnuson, I am normally greeted with a friendly smile and directed to where I want to be or taken to where I want to be.That is my experience and I will continue to shop at Magnuson :) Mr. Magnuson, thank you for your service! Salute!!!

3 stars because the people were super helpful, but jeez the glass is expensive here. Other Aces Ive spent $1-2 per 8x8 glass piece, here it was $7. Maybe avoid this place for picture frame glass.

I would stay away from this place. The attitude of the people that work there is horrible. I have tried giving them business after Harvey and all I get is negative attitude. I wanted to spend my money on a local place, but I guess I will just have to go to Home Depot or Lowe’s in the future. Save yourself a headache and stay away.

Donna needs an attitude adjustment. Brought back items not needed for flooded but was treated unprofessionally. I was the one with a flooded house. Not coming back!!! Too bad, you would want to support the local community.

Had to come back twice because they didnt cut my plexiglas right size. Furthermore, I jammed my toe on the front door because one of the employees pushed it the opposite way.
