Took my wedding ring set in to get a a purchase estimate. I didnt have high expectations, after having a bad experience at another place, but I had time to kill that day so I decided to stop by. I dont remember the guys name that helped me but he was incredibly kind and understanding about my situation and talked to me to make sure that I was ok with selling it. He asked me what I was expecting to get for it and offered me something very close to my expectations and MUCH HIGHER than the last place that insulted me. While I was there, I watched how incredibly friendly and kind the employees were to everyone that came in. They treat people like family and make everyone feel welcome. I didnt get the shady vibe at all. I am very happy that I found this place and grateful to the guy who was so incredibly kind and empathetic to my situation. I would give this place more than 5 starts if I could.

I had the most pleasant experience shopping for a used Rolex and anniversary gift. The staff was very friendly and professional. The prices they put on their jewelry does not match up with the value payed $2400 for the jewelry only worth $350. What you think you’re paying for is not worth it they put their diamonds in the jewelry there’s diamonds is not worth nothing

I would first like to preceed my review with the fact that I do not often leave reviews on any shops, almost ever. Im most certainly not easily impressed to the point in which I feel the overwhelming need to leave a dazzling review on a business quite like this one has made me feel.I went in to this shop today intent on selling some of my gold jewelry to scavenge enough money for a few christmas presents. They were already in the process of closing (which I felt awful about LOL) when they buzzed me in and I was met with two very warm smiles. Being me, I hadnt expected much more than around 100 dollars (albeit Im not exactly well educated in regards to the price of gold). After a bit of conversation with the two men who were in there, named Sal and Jay, they gave me an offer I could have never even imagined. Almost 5 times more than I had expected! I was absolutely stunned, and stoked that I could buy nice presents for my loved ones. I hope the best for this business, and that many others will choose to sell their gold here, as they truly took care of me the best they could. Joel was very patient, informative, and pleasant to work with. I would recommend shopping with them long before going to Helzberg, Jared, Kay or any other commercial retailer. These guys are honest and fair!

2 reviews were several years ago. I have been there several times in the past year. Had my Rolex serviced there. Had a diamond bezel put on another Rolex. They have taken out links in 2 watches and didnt charge me. They have authenticated 2 Rolexs for me. I have recommended them to 2 friends that like the place. They have a watchmaker with many many years Rolex experience on site. Steve and John have helped me several times and they are super nice. The place does not smell like someone said. It is a very nice clean place. I am positive that neither of them have any disgusting habits like someone talked about 2 years ago.

Reality: I buy silver. Im not a hoarder, prepper, etc.; Its how I save money (vs spending the cash, I like to hold the metals...to each their own). I have been coming to Frisco G&S to buy small amounts of silver every month. I pay about $1-$2 over spot for normal, boring silver (my favorite) which is a bit cheaper than other places around here. The staff are very polite, but firm and professional. I buy silver 1-2 times a month (it was my new years resolution). Most new years resolutions I quit after a week...this year, I am 100% on track, (2/2 months, 3/3 visits, 1 visit per pay period); I give credit to the pleasant shopping experience at Frisco G&S for the repeat business3) The Staff: Including the owner, I enjoy the staff. They are fun to talk with. They know their business well, and looking up my purchases on google after I got home (drum roll) I paid fair prices every time.4) Last Disclaimer & Conclusion: I know I am not a representation of EVERY visitor of theirs; for example: I havent sold anything to them yet. DON’T BUY JEWELRY FROM FRISCO GOLD & JEWELRY EXCHANGE!!!! THEY SELL JEWELRY WITH LOW QUALITY WORKSMANSHIP & THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS TERRIBLE!!I payed $1600 for a wedding band with invisible set princess cut diamonds. A year after buying it one of the diamonds came out! Ok NP I took it in and they fixed it for no charge. Good because that’s what you would expect after paying hard earned money for some jewelry.A year later THE SAME DIAMOND FELL OUT! Now I could understand if I was banging the ring around or doing construction or something but that’s not the case, I’m a teacher for God’s sake! I could also understand if I had the ring for like 10-20 Years, but it’s only been two years!!This time a take it in and he tells me “we don’t warranty invisible set princess cuts”. I call BS on that because they fixed it the first time. After going back and forth with me about it he tells me to leave it there and he’ll see what he can do. Then he calls me and tells me that they can’t fix it!! 🤨 Then how were you able to fix it the first time??Any reputable company that sells quality merchandise would warranty their work and take care of the customer. I just left this store...and wow. My wife and I throughly enjoyed this store. I went in to sell some 90% and 40% silver. They paid me fair prices and I had the best conversations with the staff. What a friendly and fun Jewlery store. I am blown away with how at home they made us feel. Not only that but they have a fine selection of stock and prices that i noticed are right on par with what they should be. Very fair store. I personally love the feel of a rolex and their selction is awesome!!! My next rolex will be from here!!! I highly recommend this store.

Have been taking my watches for band adjustments and batteries for over 7 years. Paid less than $10 each time including for my Movado. Was I shocked that when I took a simple $200 Nautica mens watch in for a new battery was quoted the min. fee of $30. When I stopped them and explained my surprise they could have cared less. Never had seen this woman and gent before but I wont be back. Ive sent about 8-10 friends to this place. All had a great experience till this year. One friend told me they wanted $130 for a battery on her Movado. I ordered the tool from eBay and changed the battery for $3 and thats retail. I have notified all my friends and none will return.Good Bye and good luck!

There is a reason their reviews are so bad no room for negotiating and pretty bad customer service good luck with this location. Their offer on my piece allowed them to make a 50 to 75 percent profit.

Everytime i go there i have to call before and check the premium price on the silver and gold. Before i go in the store i check the spot price of gold and silver. Yet everytime when i go in there they try to rip me off on the current price of spot or the premiums they are charging even when they quote me the total price on the phone earlier. My suggestion would be to go to another place that has a consistent and much lower premium.
