I went to the McKinney location and was sold a very expensive pair of Carbon Fiber shoes that I did not need. I have leg problems and needed something with a bit more cushion. I attempted to take them back and was told that I needed to wear them for a couple of weeks to soften them.After 2 more weeks of wearing them and having pain, I returned them to Frisco because its close to my job. Julia was great from the moment I walked in. She informed me that I didnt need the Carbon Fiber shoes and explained what their purpose is.She got me in a great pair of shoes and made my experience pleasant. I let her manager know and she was just as awesomeI recommend going to this location based on Customer Service alone.Keep Julia around!

Bought a pair of shoes that they told me had a heel drop of 4mm. After one 3 mile run on the track, I could tell it was a higher drop. They refused to take the shoes back. Run On in McKinney definitely are more personal and kinder to work with and will take shoes back within 30 days of purchase. The only reason I went to Frisco this day was purely out of convenience but I will keep my loyalty with the Mckinney location.

Let me start by saying if you are getting serious about running, or even want to be serious about your occasional running, get into this store and get your stride checked! The right shoes go a looooong way!I cannot give this store enough stars for what they do. I went in and purchased some shoes based on what I thought would be the right shoes for me, and as it turns out, I ended up with some nasty knee pain.I called and spoke with Kelly, the store manager as it happened to be, who encouraged me to come back in and check my fitting. She quickly analyzed my form, my running needs, and checked my fit. Not only did they work with me to get into the right pair of shoes, they helped me understand WHY the shoes I had werent the best fit for me and WHY the shoes they showed me were much better for my personally.I love this store and the knowledge they share and how they have helped me. Don’t buy your running shoes online! Go here. Everyone is so nice. They take the time to analyze your step, size you perfectly, and then suggest a few different types of shoes for your needs. (I can’t believe how long I’ve been running on cardboard with a namebrand shoe.) I should’ve come here years ago, and I will be back every time I need new running gear.

I visit Run On yesterday to get a shoe fitting and buy shoes! I was ready to purchase if I can find a fit and style I like. The person that helped me did not smile. She didnt even seem like she wanted to help me. She didnt make any conversation. I had a friend there, and she was uncomfortable by the whole experience. When she was fitting me for shoes, she didnt explain the process or explain why I need this type of shoe. I was completely lost. She spoke so low I couldnt hear her. She also didnt like me having my kids there. She didnt ask what I like or anything. She bought out 3 shoes. Two were too big, and only one has to be the chosen one. She was like, Is this it? I asked for another color, and she said its the only one in my size. Out of all the shoes they have, it has to the only one color I dislike. SHe didnt even offer me to try on another pair. She was so rude. Im buying my shoes elsewhere for sure.

I love the selection of shoes that they have and Im always able to find a pair that fit my needs. I work in the medical field and I stand all day, so it is important to find a show that will not wear out easily. They offer discounts to medical staff, so if you do work on the medical field, be sure to mention that to them in order to get your discount.

Just want to give a shout out to Julia! It was my second time buying shoes from this place and she was very attentive and knowledgeable which helped me a lot when finding the perfect shoe for me. If anyone needs any help, I highly recommend going to her.

Drove out to this location because the Hoka website said they had the Challenger Goretex in stock.Turns out they dont and I wasted my time,gas and wear and tear on vehicle.Thanks for nothing

These guys are really knowledgeable and helpful in selecting a well fitting shoe. Travis helped us find a shoe (Hoka) and some inserts that hubby says is one of the most comfortable fits he has found.We found a few pairs we purchased on sale. Would definitely go back.

Shoe shopping a great experience? I have pretty wide feet and am new to running as an adult. I know my feet were hurting when running so I decided I needed new shoes and was not very excited about it as I know nothing about running shoes. Julia greeting me as I walked in and felt immediately comfortable. We went through a few questions and tried on as many shoes as I wanted. I tried on a lot of shoes and was super comfortable taking as much time as I needed. I really didnt need to try that many on as she had the right shoe pegged from the start. This shopping trip felt like a luxury experience. Julia was superb and so helpful. Love my new shoes and made a huge difference with my disdain for running without someone or something chasing me. Not the cheapest place, but you are paying for knowledge. I have very thin feet, they have helped me multiple times over the years to help me find the perfect running shoes.They take the time to make sure you get the right shoes the first time and are low pressure. Highly suggest going there.

The store closes at 8:00pm and we walked in at 7:53pm. We are greeted by John (Assistant Manager) staring us down, visibly upset how dare we walk in 7 minutes before closing. My shoes were already on hold and all I needed was to try the two and choose one. As he (John) grabbed try-on socks, I was speaking to my wife about a shoe FOR A MERE 30 SECONDS, when John comes from behind and says Oh come on now, we have to get this moving along!!!.I was shocked at the comment, his attitude, the anger on his face. I am not sure who made him Assistant Manager, but when I confronted him,, his answer was that he had been there for 10 hours. Thats a scheduling problem on their end, and he shouldnt be kicking customers out when the store hasnt closed yet.NEVER shopping at RunOn! again.

Shoes can be bought anywhere, however, finding the best shoe is where RunOn shines. I came here a few months ago and the expert employees took the time to help me find the right running shoe for me. They really focused on the “right” shoe for my needs - not the most expensive.Yesterday I stopped in for another reason, my wife (who is pregnant) needed comfortable shoes. Figured it was a stretch going to a running store, however, it paid off. The employee pulled out a couple of options and we found the right shoe.Below is what I love about this place1. I bought W Oolala Lux & paid $70.31, used it once & as I do not live close by, I waited till Friday to return it. They refused to return it saying it is unsaleble even though it has a 30 day policy. Lisa refused saying I needed to wear inside & that they inform customer of it. No one told me that, for the fact that I wore it & the person who checked me out saw my used sandals that he bagged. There was not a speck of dust on it. I bought on 06/10/21 evening & came to return on 06/18/21.Please do not buy from RunOn Frisco, their customer service only last till you pay, then it is down hill.I gave 1 star because 0 rating would let me write this review.

Received excellent service from Julia! I’m a food service delivery driver so I’m constantly running around apartment complexes. An hour after buying my shoes and insoles that Julia picked out I ran up four flights of stairs. I experienced a new level of comfort and agility. I really hate shoe shopping because I have large and wide feet, it’s so nice to have someone assist in finding your perfect fit! I recommend anyone to come here, because these shoes are an investment that really pay off.

Bad experience with Tyler at the Frisco location. He was apathetic to my disability and told me he couldnt help me with my shoe selection and purchase. As I was upset that I was treated so poorly and that he was so dismissive about my condition. I placed a call to the store manager Kelly and received no return call. A couple days later, I called back to the store and spoke with Kelly, she said she spoke to the associate and felt that she didnt need to return my call based on what the associate said. However after listening to what REALLY happened, Kelly said that she made a mistake and should have returned the call. Im sad to say that I will never ever again walk or run into a RunOn store again.

Went inside and nobody said a word to me. I patiently waited 10 minutes then asked a women if I could get some help getting fitted. She kindly said yes while another coworker looked at her rudely and told her no, she needed to help another person. It was rude and I didn’t say anything. I patiently waited another 10 minutes and no one would help. Disappointed as I’ve been purchasing shoes from other Dallas area runons for the past 13 years. I will not be going back to this location.

I called the store to make sure they had a shoe that I was looking for. I came in this afternoon 8/3/20. Found a pair of Nike Pegasus 36 that was also on sale. I tried both shoes with the help of Kelly. She was patient and friendly, knowledgeable also. Though I live in Dallas, I will not mind venturing this far north. If you need help or need someone that cares ask for her. I do have two other Run On stores in Dallas. I normally buy all my stuff at the Preston and Forest location and the Mockingbird location is horrible.10/25* UpdateI went back to this location and I want to compliment Julia. I went in tried a couple of things and the most important, impressive thing was the awesome customer experience by Julia. Not once did she falter or make me feel like she didn’t want to help. I had a wonderful experience at Run On this evening. Steve was extremely personable and genuinely cared about fitting me in the right shoe. He offered multiple options and went as far as explaining a different shoe lacing method to handle some issues I had with prior shoes. I am glad I came to Run On to get my shoes and will be going back in the future.

I came in with high expectations and they were exceeded! John was prompt and personable yet very professional. He was very knowledgeable taking good care of me with four pair of shoes thoroughly tested after using top of the line technology to confirm my foot type. The cherry on top was he NEVER asked for or even hinted at me leaving a good review even after giving me a great deal on a great pair of shoes! Thats the type of class thats missing at most businesses these days!

The gentleman who helped us was friendly and personable, however, insisted that I had a larger foot size than what I told him. Come to find out the store did not have the smaller sizes in the shoe that I wanted due to low stock after COVID-19 closure. He assured us that I have been apparently watering the wrong size all these years. The new brand is very comfortable so when he suggested I purchase the shoe, he insisted I wear them out to really get a feel for the right fit. Its been a few days and the shoe still does feel too big and even slips when I run, but since they have been worn (due to his suggestion) return policy says I can *not* return these $150 shoes. Very disappointed and will be ordering the correct size online from now on.

Went in to get fitted for new shoes. All staff were with other customers. After waiting a while, we were never acknowledged or greeted in any way. A sales person finished their sale with a customer so I approached her. She picked up her coffee mug, took a sip and replied Im leaving, youll have to wait for another guy.I understand retail and she may have had a schedule to keep but there is definitely a better way to say what she said.Im a big Run on fan. I usually go to the Richardson location but today this one was more convenient. We definitely wont be back to this location. Not friendly or helpful at all!

I recently moved from Cincinnati and was sad to lose my local running shop, JackRabbit. While searching for a replacement on Google I stumbled upon RunOn!, which happens to be the same company as JackRabbit! I stopped by and love it! It’s well organized, has all the brands I need and the staff was awesome. I’m so happy to have found my new JackRabbit!

After reading reviews I was skeptical about the service I would receive at this location, but I went ahead and gave it a try, and was not disappointed! Luis helped me out and was extremely knowledgeable and helpful in helping me find the right shoe for me. I ended up not purchasing a shoe today, just because I wasnt 100% sure which one I wanted, but I left feeling like I had good knowledge to do research and decide which one I wanted. I will be back to purchase once I decide for sure just because of the service I received.

I had a great experience here. I was greeted when I arrived and helped within minutes. The lady that helped me listened to my needs and helped to try to find a shoe to fit. Although we were unable to find a shoe in store, she gave recommendations and even recommended a nearby competitor store. She didnt try to push me to buy but rather to do what was best for my needs. I appreciated that.

They did not have my large size but I appreciate the touch of science they put into their shoe recommendations. They were more helpful to me than most places that sell shoes.

Courteous staff

I needed a pair of shoes to work out in that fit well and didnt hurt my feet. When I got to the store I was greeted by Manny. I told him what I needed and he was beyond helpful. He watched me walk and had me do a few things so that he could find a good fit for me. He then measured my feet, asked me several questions and went to get me shoes and insoles. After trying on 3 pairs with the insoles I narrowed it down to 1 pair. My feet feel great in the shoes and I am so glad I went to Run On.

Chester- your review is comical. The fact that the lady at the counter is “Asian” is completely irrelevant. You seem to be fishing for sympathy with the “handicap” comment that is also irrelevant. We appreciate your service but again, you seem to be looking for some special treatment by saying you are 100% disabled. You stating you had to walk to your “handicap” parking spot is not needed in the review as well as you going on about your combat experience. Your trying to throw up a handicap/veteran force field and it’s not gonna work. Also, you seemed really hung up on the printer. I think that’s weird. Judging by you review I’m gonna go out on a limb and say the employees weren’t the issue here. You seem like you might be hard to please and maybe expect everyone to roll out the red carpet for you when you throw out your force fields. This place is great and has been for a little my time. 5/5 would shop there again.

Very helpful staff. My fiance got fitted and the shoes work well. I am still using a pair that I got early last year that had a tread wear of around 500-700 miles. (Continental rubber soles) The prices are decent too. They do have a clearance that I typically look at first. We are repeat customers for the last 3 years. LIKE this review if it was helpful!

The store was closed due to the covid. I spoke to Kelley over the phone and I was fitted for the shoe while sitting at home!(as best as she could)She had excellent customer service and attention to detail. Thank you!

We went in to this store because my husband’s had flat feet and they have a good selection of tennis shoes for flat feet. Right when we entered, the manager came up to us and told us that it takes at least 30 minutes to find a good shoe and they only have five even though another guy who insisted that he can try to help us. My husband already knew what shoe he needed and knew his size so it wouldn’t have taken us long at all, but it was obvious that the manager had plans and didn’t want us there. We normally go to the McKinney and Richardson locations. This was our first and last time there.

I called with a question about the store and spoke with Julia who hung up on me and was very rude, very disappointed in their service wont be back.

Helpful staff that explained which type of running shoe best fit my needs (stability shoe over neutral shoe due to my feet/heel) and weren’t hesitant to let me try out several pairs of shoes for a couple of hours until I found the perfect pair. I’m glad I finally came into a real running store, my new Brooks are fantastic.My only gripe is that non of the employees seemed particularly enthusiastic but they were super helpful so I won’t knock a star out.

Came in on a Saturday - the store was fairly busy but I only had to wait a few minutes for someone to assist me. I feel bad that I cant remember her name, or remember if I actually got her name or not. But she was really patient and helpful finding me a pair of appropriate running shoes. She seemed pretty knowledgeable and experienced and wasnt pushy or anything at all, she just made sure they fit right and that I was comfortable in them. Pretty good experience, I will definitely come back in the future.

Was recommended by my Foot Dr. to visit this store and was skeptical. Couldn’t have been a better experience. The staff there took their time and gave me various options to help resolve a plantar faciatis issue. Great group of people who sure don’t seem to be driven by the bottom line dollar.

Two of the girls wouldnt even acknowledge that I came into the store. But a guy did come to help me and gave some great info about my arch and what size i should be wearing due to my lack of arch. I would not go back here or purchase anything based on the first two employees completely ignoring me.

Got recommended this store for their gait analysis, guidance and custom fitting. My understanding is they differentiate from other stores due to these special services. I was also advised to look for someone in the store with experience as your experience at a store can vary widely based on who you’re dealing with. Called the Frisco store and spoke to a girl who did not sound helpful at all, replying with mono syllabic answers. I explained I have never been to a Run On store and am trying to get more understanding on what they do. Almost 0 answers. I actually ended up asking, is there anything else you can tell me about Run On, and she flat out said No.So even though they have the ability to 3d print in soles (she didn’t tell me this) I will not be going to the Frisco store.

Dude how does this place stay open. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!!!!!!! I have waited in this place MULTIPLE occasions trying to spend upwards of $300 and no one says anything. The staff is mainly older ladies that have zero clue who was there first, second or what. They just go to the closest person and completely disregard the people holding shoes to try on. Update: 01/01/18- returned the shoes my wife caught this post and got angry at her birthday gift demanded a refund though they got our 25 dollar restock money, no luck getting that back and yes they demanded the receipt almost a shout! If you want to throw money away, come on in!12/08/17-Had horrible experience. Bought an expensive gift (shoe) for my wife. It didnt fit so I tried, tried to return it for another size. The lady (Asian) at the counter didnt greet me, nor helped much to try to exchange the shoe at $125. She demanded to see the receipt with a bit of anger. I went to my handicap vehicle and grabbed the receipt out from it. So as today much trust like here doesnt exist. She said the receipt was damaged. I told her to print one out from previous customer only to see the paper rip apart. Due to the damaged printer for all the receipts I was charged a huge amount called a restocking fee. In underlining anger, she wished the printer did work, so that I was the liar in this arguement over trust or shoes. I got the shoes for $150 same just different size due to her being right and Im in the wrong. I have a huge military family here as I wore my wounded warrior shirt, being combat 100% disabled, stress worsens my condition surviving 4 bombs in Iraq. I asked for an Army military discount, she (Asian) laughed at that. So watch out for the printer damaging your receipt or face an uphill battle with management, plus 25 dollar (restocking fee).

This location is terrible. Spent $130 on the worst fitting shoes ever. I should have walked out when I first encountered the what seemed 17 year old boy trying to act like a shoe expert. He had zero knowledge and barely spoke; bugs have bigger personalities. I don’t know why I strayed from Frisco Running where professional adults solve your shoe issues. Waste of time and money.

Horrible service. I stood around for 15 minutes before anyone even acknowledged I was there. After bringing me one set of shoe, which didn’t fit (thanks to the competence of the staff) I was continually being ignored. Finally I just left with my crew of 4 other runners (who were also looking to buy a brand new set of shoes for themselves). Looks like you just lost about $500 worth of sales because your staff doesn’t know how to help more than one customer at a time. Never going back here.
