The butcher shop is top notch. Great cuts, decent prices, and knowledgeable staff. The BBQ outside cost them a star. It was mediocre. Not good, but not bad either. Bland seasoning, little to no bark. Brisket wasnt trimmed properly, so too much fat. The pulled pork sandwiches were tasty, but too heavily sauced. The sauce overpowered any pork flavor.

Really nice small butcher shop, everyone seems nice and friendly, the type of place I used to go to as a kid. They have cuts of beef and pork not commonly found. They also have lard and pork belly ( I took a picture) which is why I drove there.I would imagine if you asked they could do special cuts or orders I havent needed to do that yet. It is only my second time visiting this store however its become clear it is a well-managed well-run place.I do like smaller stores. It is easier to find products, purchase them and be on your way with staff readily available that can help you if needed.You can actually call and check on the availability of products. I did call before making the trip to ensure the products I wanted were available... No complicated phone directory someone just answered the phone 😎🙂Conveniently located down the street from Martians a convenient location that is pretty easy to find.

The best bratwursts Ive ever had. I will stop in Front Royal anytime I drive by it to pick up a couple pounds of the Two Fat Special: Beef, Bacon, and Pork bratwursts. Theyre simply amazing.

Absolute waste of money! We hade the brisket and ribs, brisket was dry and rubbery and the ribs tasted as if they were rolled around in charcoal and took a dive in tomato paste absolutely disappointing!

Great selection of meats. Love the cheese and jalapeño sausages over the camp fire. The New York strip is very meaty and tender. I try loading up on meats while in town camping. Can’t wait to go back!

The BBQ sandwiches taste kind of like cleaning solution. Not really sure what happened, but both of our sandwiches tasted really off.

Great butcher shop. The Porterhouse steak are the best. They always have deals if you look for them. Great fresh selections of beef, pork, chicken, country ham and deli meats. They also carry items frozen like buffalo, elk and unique items.

Looks like i will be taking my deer back to Madison for butchering. Turned in a big buck killed with a bow shot in the neck. And got back almost half what I usually get back from a smaller deer killed by a 30-06 through the shoulder. Got my meat wrapped in freezer paper and tape. When I usually get heavy duty vacuum sealed bags. I still got good meat from 3 years ago. I really doubt freezer paper can compete with that. And had to pay an additional $30+ for special cuts. That are included in the price in Madison. So basically got way less meat, way less quality packaging. At a way higher price!!! So I have come to the conclusion. That i may have recently moved to Front Royal. But I am still going to have to take my business elsewhere for butchering.

Great cuts of meats and sausages. You will pay more but its worth it for quality cuts of meat, plus you know where its coming from. The homemade desserts are delicious too!

The best meats around! Prices are comparable or better than Costco/grocery stores. The guys are friendly and will cut you a steak to your liking if requested. Need holiday meat? You can pre-order your prime rib! Dont forget to get some bacon and homemade brats! We will continue to support this local business as long as we live in the area!

We LOVE Two Fat Butchers. We stop here at least once a week to stock up on our meats. Their bacon is the best and we love their steaks and ground beef. Weve saved a lot of money going here. The employees are always friendly and helpful. They also grill out on the weekends too in the parking lot. I live in Rappahannock and make the drive across the mountain just to go here! Great place!

Good quality meats. On weekends, out front in the parking lot they set up smokers ans serve chicken, ribs and pulled pork. They start serving at 11:00. Some of the best BBQ in the area. Texas it isnt, but as good as youll get in Virginia.

Dont underestimate the importance of a good butcher. Two Fat Butchers is excellent at what they do. Wonderful cuts of meat, great service, and great deals.

Their cuts of meat are very good. They also have buffalo, elk and other meats. Prices are reasonable and the BBQ out front on the weekends during the summer is very good. Personally would like to put my own bbq sauce on the pulled pork and not have it premixed but very good.

Dont bother going to grocery store for meat. This place is great....good prices/meats. Traveling thru area, so happy to find this place!

We get all our steaks from Two Brothers. The meat is always so fresh. They also have fresh Jerkey. I can sit down and eat a whole pack in one sitting. Also if you ever see them with the lunch stand set up you have to stop and get a BBQ sandwitch.

Came in to get sandwiches for an afternoon picnic and was left standing at the deli waiting for service, when someone did make it to the counter and I let them know I was there for sandwiches the immediate response was of annoyance, rolling of the eyes and sigh. As I waited 10 minutes for two sandwiches to be made there was never the impression that they were overly busy to justify any of the staffs unfriendly demeanor. Now as for the actual flavor of the sandwiches; not worth what I paid for. I ordered a ribeye and a Cuban sandwich, nothing special.
