I made several phone calls to the Williams Brothers company when trying to figure out what sort of door would be best to access an outdoor wood storage bin from indoors. I needed a simple insulated door and they have lots of sizes to choose from. It’s not yet installed, but has arrived and looks like it will do the trick nicely. I can’t say enough about their customer service — it’s what made me feel comfortable about making a purchase from a company I hadn’t done business with in the past.

The EXT-1300 door arrived at my home packaged by Williams Bros Corp beyond what would be expected by a company merely wanting to move merchandise. Once unpackaged and examined, the door met all the advertised specifications. Once installed, the door performs in a manner I could only wish for. The 3ft x 4ft door is heavy ... and when opened wide does not flex or bind even minutely. The sturdy piano hinge along with the accurately engineered uni-body bracing keeps the door opening and closing in superior fashion. Im happy to have this quality product as part of my forever home.

Procured a new steel hatch to replace the hatch on our 100 yo house. Easy on-line ordering with all the needed specs. Immediate emailed invoice. When I called a little later to check on status everyone was very pleasant, helpful and accurate. Ordered was shipped on time. Installation was a breeze with the wide flange mounts. The hatch was easily unbolted from the frame to make getting it up to the roof easy. Northeaster blew through a couple days later and we were weather tight. Couldn’t be happier.

The over all quality of the hidden push open door was good, however one of the latches were broken (cheap latches) when I received the doors and the shipping had taken several weeks longer than I had ever expected (as it came out of Florida.) I have contacted the company twice via email and once via telephone and they never called me back or emailed me. I then sent them an email stating I would send them the defective latch and still nothing back from them.Their customer service is non-existent and so I ended up buying an upgraded latch on Amazon (The ones they come with are cheap ) I was installing marble which has a little more weight than a ceramic or porcelain. I would not recommend this company

Ordered an 18 metal hatch door, the price was reasonable, and it was received quickly. The hatch had a minor, but visible, manufacturing defect, so I called them. Marcus, the gentleman to whom I spoke instructed me to text him a photo and told me hed take care of it immediately! I had a replacement delivered to me within a couple days at no charge. Thats customer service!

I called several other companies searching for an access door that would fit the non-standard opening in my basement drywall. The responses I got such as expand the opening or add a piece of wood to make the door fit were very unsatisfactory. I was about to give up, when I contacted Williams Brothers corp. Initially I spoke with Angie and later Marcus, both of whom were extremely helpful. I was so happy that I found someone who understood my situation and was willing to create a custom door at an affordable price. Even though my door was a small project, the customer service was superb. I would highly recommend this company.

Great customer service. I bought an access panel and forgot to put the suite number. They answer my email quickly to ensure the shipping address was verified.

Bought a roof hatch, shipping was quick and delivery was great. Actually ended up not using the hatch as the project expanded, and they were amazing with the return! Just had to drop it back off at one of their distributors about 30 minutes away and they gave me a full refund! Will most definitely be using these guys again :)

Williams Brothers provided me about 20 attic access doors from order date, manufacturing, packaging, and delivery to my jobsite in 5 weeks. Very good service in todays times. I ordered my product in late April of this year. I asked NUMEROUS times when this item was going to be shipped. Not only did I get vague answer, but when it finally did get supposedly shipped, I had to contact THEM. Frustrated at the process, I vented out to OLIVIA who said i was YELLING at her and then she proceed to hang up on me. THe last thing she stated was FINE, I WILL CANCEL YOUR ORDER.MARCUS-if you are in fact the owner, you need to tell OLIVIA, she needs better customer service skills.I would choose negative stars if i could

I was trying to order an access door which I needed very urgently. Marcus helped me place the order and ship it later that night. I am from Cali and he was still able to help me way late from Virginia. Barely receive that kind of service.

I had a few issues, but they fixed them right away. The owner actually called me to right the ship. I posted negative earlier, but man was I wrong. Definitely going to be buying from these guys again.

These are far and away the absolute best access doors you will find. Stout construction, well thought out latching mechanism and best of all, no plastic!! Prices are very good, shipping was fast, and the owners are super responsive. Stop looking around, this is the only product youll need.

I purchased three different types of ceiling access doors for a recent project. All three were exactly what we needed, the prices were reasonable and they look great. The DW400 series is particularly nice in that once installed you can barely tell it is there.

I emailed them after hours and they responded within 30 minutes. The size I wanted was not in stock but shipped me one that would work the same day and didn’t charge me for the extra cost. I would definitely order from Williams Brothers again.

Worst online order I have ever experienced. I contacted company to help specify an order. They sent me the pdf spec and I ordered a door. They sent the wrong door. They did not respond. I contacted customer service and got a return authorization. They sent the same wrong door again. Went through the same merrygoround again. The package even had the incorrect label on it! They wanted a picture to verify. Sent it back and they sent another door that wasnt the same as the spec. They determined the door I ordered is no longer available and the one they sent is the new version. The new version was not acceptable. They then held me hostage for a refund after the door was returned via UPS tracking for over a week. All this took 2 months of wasted time . I built my own access door in 2 hrs. One star is the generous at best
