This grocery store has transformed how we eat. They have crazy prices on all kinds of food.I love how they cycle out their freezer section with new and interesting foods. It makes the store fresh and interesting nearly every time Im in there.Our grocery bill has dropped by almost $400 / month as well. Its just amazing shopping here.Other than that, the store is clean and well kept. Just make sure you bring a quarter for a cart and some bags for your food. Or be prepared to spend a little extra on bags (which I usually do haha).

A can of refried beans, pasta sauce, corn tortillas or a bag of pasta, pizza, fresh fruit and veggies, not to mention a carefully selected wine, cheese or chocolate! All this in a store of manageable size. The quality will surprise you and you will be wondering What will I discover next?

Best prices for groceries

No frills no thrills grab it bag it and go... but dont forget to pay for it. Lot of people swear by this place. Its kind of like the opposite of old-fashioned full-service gas station, you pump your own gas and save money.

Good local store for people who dont need to spend an hour walking through endless aisles and contemplating 15 different types of ketchup. Simple, affordable, and price conscious. ALDIs is a great way to grocery shop in under 30 minutes - in and out. Hmm, what a concept!

I know the idea is to cut costs by the checkout process but Also is not for the quick in and out for two steaks. Stood in line for 10 minutes. One cashier. Two employees ducking off. Fix please.

Love the products here. There is very seldom I find something in their brand that doesnt taste like or better than name brand. Their prices are also less compared to other chains.

Aldi products are fun! Aldi produce is luscious and appetizing! Store is always clean when i go in. Thats important to me. Its a safe place to take my 87 year old mom to shop. (Though this visit i counted 3 people with no masks at all. Not going to let 1 surprising visit ruin it though. Just hoping its not a new trend to let the unmasked in.)

Nice, clean, well-stocked store. Only problem Ive seen is theyre SLOW to realize when there are 5 or 6 people on 1 line, and you have 6 cash registers, youve gotta open at least one more register to handle the crowd. Will continue to shop there however.

Love shopping at Aldis. Always find what I need. Sometimes you go and some of the shelves are empty. But they say its because sometimes the trucks are held up because of covid-19. But the next day they have there shelves filled again. They received a truck everyday.

This Aldi gets alot of business because of its location. Its located next to a Walmart and a Lowes. It usually has most things a person generally needs, but it may not have some specialty items that you may find at Martins. When I am staying in Front Royal, I generally shop at Aldi for most things and when I cant find something in particular, I will go to Martins or Walmart. Prices are generally cheaper because they use their own brand on many items.

The prices are fine, the people are kind enough, but the selection is terrible and the shelves are always a mess, every trip. If youre getting produce from this Aldi, be prepared to finish it within 1-2 days. Their packaged salads always have a very close best by date and often dont even last that long. Other stores are able to stock goods that last at least a week. Between this and the terrible Martins, grocery shopping in Front Royal is a disaster. Go to the Lidl on the north end of Culpeper if you can plan ahead enough and want an awesome shopping experience where everything is fresh and in stock.

DONT BUY SCRAPPLE FROM HERE! Ive tried to get it from this location TWICE & BOTH times, when I opened them up, prepared to fry it up, I find MOLD on them! Of course, you cant see it until you open it up. But needless to say, its a MAJOR disappointment! Its a shame, because some of the stuff this place sells is alright, if not, pretty good. At the same time, PLEASE DO SOMETHING ABOUT THE SCRAPPLE! I couldve ended up feeding my family MOLD!

One of my favorite stores. The selection is rotating - meaning that they dont carry the same stock every week, but there is always excellent variety. Their European cheese selection is great as is the German food that they stock periodically. Dont be phased by the checkout lines. The checkers move at lightning speed...but take your own bags or you will have to buy them.

Fine as usual. There was a problem though not Aldis fault. We had ordered online tgrough Instacart.The first day they messaged and pushed the pick to the next day.Today they messaged and said pick up between 2-3. I arrived then could not figure out how to let them know I was here for pick up. I finally went in and was told there something wrong with Instacart and they hadnt recieved any orders in 2 days.I ended up doing the shopping myself.I was not the only customer in the store doing the same thing.I just hope I can get it straightened out and credited with instacart.What a bother.

Aldi is my favorite. Always clean and organized. In and out quickly and the prices are always great. I will say there are a few things that have gone up and are now found cheaper at Walmart. However Ill pay the extra money to not have to go there!

Do not use Aldi Instacart. Decide to head stay at home recommendations and order for delivery. Placed order had a 5 hour time frame that kept getting extended. As it got closer to close of business got a notification that my order would be delivered 4 days later!! Waited an entire day for delivery. Would have been better to take by germs out public. Very disappointed! If youre not equipped to fulfill a service then dont offer it.

Awesome place for groceries always a good variety and quality food items. However PLEASE have more cashiers available for when the line gets long every time I come here theres usually only 1 cashier present even when theres a huge line of people waiting to check out!

Found some great deals. Price of produce and dairy products is awesome. My problem is customer service!! For a brand new store, having one check out line on a Friday evening, one week after opening, is ridiculous!! The cashier had no personality. Not once did he greet me!! He was rude and obviously shouldnt be working with the public. We, the customers, are the reason you have a job. Your priority should be to make us feel welcome... Definitely didnt feel welcome. Only saw one employee, the cashier, the whole time I was in there.

I had the same experience as Tracy L. Good prices even if selection is kind of limited. But customer service was as bad as it gets. As we approached the only checkout, the cashier walks away and starts mopping the floor near another checkout -Ill be right with you. No mess on the floor that needed immediate attention, just side work? After the 3 minute wait she then talks through us to the coworker who got in line behind us. And the setup to put items directly into your cart even if you have your own bags is terrible. I am happy to bag for myself, but this way you have to bag as you load your car. Self checkout would be much better. No wonder the store isnt crowded. I wont be back. Much better experience at places like BJs.

A variety food store. If you see an item you want buy it because if you go back later itll probably be gone and itll be a while or if they get it in stock again. Fair prices.

Highly recommend the creamy butter spread, it is so much better than Land o Lakes brand. The pumpkin ravioli is amazing! I purchased the frying pan which was cast iron with ceramic coated. It was $14.99 made in Italy. I only wish I had purchased more and some for gifts. They are the best I have ever used, better than Le Creuset or William Sonoma.I have purchased the Tuscan round bread, big winner.

I love this place. The food is for the most part good (premade stuff can be iffy) . The prices are awesome. The staff gets paid a living wage and are always helpful and friendly. I hope we have more stores using the Aldi model in the future.

They have to work on their lines.They had one line open and the queue went all the way back to the refrigerators in the back of the store. After waiting five minutes they open another line and everybody just cut from the other isle. very frustrating. Never had to wait that long before.

Prices are good and the stores is clean, but Customer service is terrible when they go to put your groceries in the other cart, they are very rough, like theyre in a hurry. Its not crowded. I go in there 7 p.m. on a Friday nights.

Love Aldi!Aside from extraordinary prices and awesome organic offerings, the shopping experience alone is better. Customers are in charge of a larger part of their shopping at Aldi, which creates more responsibility. Responsibility creates better decision making. This leads to a neater store and a parking lot free of runaway carts to ding your car. If you havent tried because of a need for name brand products, that is just fine. I enjoy a less crowded grocery store. : ) Aldi makes feeding my family a nutritious diet a cinch!

Glad to have an Aldi in Front Royal. The variety is a nice change from typical Wal-Mart options. Not a fan of Aldi-brand products but I do love the produce and meats. While Ive never directly price compared I do feel like I get more food for less money here. Shopping here is an exciting easy way to get my kids to try new flavors and combinations.
