I dont appreciate the mechanics trying to replace 4 perfectly fine parts at the same time. It was all going to amount to $1,600.00. I took my car back because I did not trust what they said that I needed to replace the alternator, battery, fan belt, fuel pump. I knew that my alternator and battery was perfectly fine. they were either trying to take advantage of me or just trying to replace everything just to get rid of the symptoms, or both. If youre a woman who doesnt know much about cars and you are taking your vehicle to this location, be cautious of their diagnosis, especially the guy named Roger. ROGER was telling me that I needed to replace all 4 parts for my car to work again. I took my car to another mechanic and he fixed my car without replacing any of the parts that ROGER was mentioning. I paid 300 dollars. Imagine $1,600 vs $300. Im glad I waited
This guys are the best !!the truck breaks gave up on my husband. and this guys stayed till 8:00pm just to help us . we are from SB CA and got stuck here in Anaheim but Roger and Cris made it happen ! Now we are back on the road ! Thank you so much you guys are very professional and kind !!
I would so give these guys a 5 star review...but it was a brutal wait time just to fix a tire. Otherwise, they did excellent, professional work. You knew exactly what the problem was, the diagnosis, and cost through the entire process. It was the wait time for the repair that was brutal! It was a holiday (Memorial Day) so I should give them a break..Highly recommend for any car issues on any make. I have a Mercedes Benz and they did just fine!
I went to this PepBoys going on four days in a row for a “check engine light” prompt. Some of the guys are really nice. However, that cannot make up for the fact that I am going on over a week now where no matter how many times I bring it back, the problem is not resolved. I have taken my car since to another mechanic and the issue has been resolved. Will not be returning.

This is the best location pep boys in OC. The service technicians are all great and super fast. The service managers will get you in and out asap. They actually care. Usually come here for my Oil changed and most minor repairs. Recently had a tow hitch put on our SUV. $75 to install the hitch and hook up the electrical to. What a deal. Everyone else wanted well over $100 just to put up the hitch. Great prices and warranty on names brand tires to. I think pep boys is literally the only place Ive bought tires from in the last 2] plus years. All around, you cant beat pep boys.

Made appt for 2:30 got there early was told come back in an hour to hour and half. Came back hour later and van never was touched. Just excuses of having no bay open. Could not tell me how much longer of a wait. Why make appt if they will not keep it. Very frustrating to make appt and not have it honored.
Above average service standards...they have lots of convenient options...online appts, drop off vehicle when closed, etc. Prices high, in my experience (I have both foreign and domestic cars) the dealers are about the same price, and the dealers usually wash your car...but they are not as convenient. Quality of mechanics seems average, but if there are any problems, they typically stand behind there work. All in all, a good option for me. Plus, if you ever do have problems, and are traveling, Im hoping that I could visit another pep boys...
Had appointment for allignment.Got several reminders via text for appointment. But when I went there at appointment time, there were already unhappy customers in line. When my turn came, The rep said they cannot do my car for another 3 hours since another car is on the rack fully opened up waiting for parts.No message to cancel or reschedule the appointment till I show up.Dont waste time and come here for anything based on other coversation I heard from another customer who had paid thousand bucks to solve nothing in his car.And just now after few hours I am getting an email that I didnt make to my appointment and if I like to reschedule. Really?
Great place. Bought 2 new tires and I was in and out in under an hour. I really like their honesty and their positive attitudes. If I could give them a 6, I would. I highly recommend them for your car repair needs.
Well informed about tires and options of sizes in order for me and my son to make a good purchase on excellent tires in stock. Every one else went to appointments and excuses of ordering tires that should have been in stock. We appreciate the service and the alignment was fine, everything is good. 🤓👍

I made an appointment a week ago to have a smog check done at this Pep Boys, which is listed as a STAR certified Smog check location both on the California DMV web site and on the Pep Boys web site. I arrived to my appointment and waited 10 minutes in an empty store for someone to check me into the service center only to be told they no longer have a technician to do Smog checks. Someone should have at least had the courtesy to call me and tell me this is not a service offered at Pep Boys any longer since Im sure the technician did not quit this morning between 8am when Pep boys opens and my 9am appointment.As a Healthcare professional working during a pandemic, it is difficult for me to get a day off, and the fact that I took a day off for nothing, which could have been prevented with a simple phone call is unprofessional.
Scheduled appointment for 1:00PM. Car was serviced at 4:30 and done at 5:15pm. Went for the buy 3 tires, get one free advertisement. Did not have the deal as the tire was out of stock. The only thing that went right was the $20 off the oil change. They did knock off $40 for the poor service. Disappointed all around as Pep Boys has a good reputation normally. Maybe an off day???
Update:My car was finally finished at 330pm, they simply forgot about my scheduled service. Only good thing that happened was they didn’t charge me due to the 5+ hour wait.I regret not reading the reviews before I dropped my car off for an oil change. Made a 10am appointment came and dropped my car off at 945 and didn’t hear back from them until I called at 1pm. They had just started working on it and said it would be 30-45 mins. It’s now 220pm and no word on when the car will be done. What’s the point of making an appointment?!
Went in thinking I needed a battery. They testedthe battery showing it was ok. They replaced acable quickly sending me on my way. Costonly $10. Very pleased with service.

Stay away from Pepboys especially this location parts staff not helpful at all. I bought brake pads online they started squeezing, brought them in asked to honor warranty. Parts guy asked for my receipt I said I bought them online he said he can not look it up even if he did he need to know the part number. I told him forget it and left to Autozone. Bought new pads there they actually keep your record in the computer. Not going to waste time arguing for 60$ of parts.
Good place to buy car parts and great customer service. Store is well stocked and organized. Very different selection from the other competing auto part stores. Shop is not very busy most of the day. Overall a good shopping experience.
I came at 8:45am and told me 4 cars ahed of me and they not even touch at 10:30am wait almost 2 hr and when I ask they told me wait another 1 hr I purchase lifetime alignment service with them that’s why they don’t care about customers who already purchase the service in past.

When I first came here in August, I received the best service. Today I had to return a bad battery . We all know how it is waiting your turn . I waited for 15 mins to get help, as soon as they found out it was a return / exchange, I was asked to Wait 15 more mins so they could help people behind me that just walked up ! If I was a man, I bet it would have been Handle properly ! I will stick to Auto zone for now on !
Came in for a nail in my tire and was refused service at 6pm. Google has the hours posted as closing at 7pm as updated 7 days ago from business. The sign at the door has it closed at 6pm. They told me to come back tomorrow.

EDIT: I have been in contact with customer service, and the representative below, and they have been incredibly helpful.I ordered a car battery to pick up in the store at this location specifically because it was in stock at this location. I went to pick it up later, and was told the battery was in transit from another location, then was informed It would arrive at 4pm. I checked in at 4pm, no battery, and was told I would have to wait until the next morning. I explained I would not be able to get to school then, and I ordered the battery specifically because it was in stock at this particular location. I was then told I would get a phone call between 5-630 when the battery arrives, but I dont trust them. I went to Oreillys to get a battery.

I see Pep Boys still havent changed with their dishonesty in the service dept. On May 24, 2020, I went into Pep Boys at 1530 S Harbor Blvd, Fullerton, CA 92832, store ID # 0642, to have them install a replacement battery for my car. After they spent about 30 minutes struggling with putting in my battery replacement, Patrick M., the man I dealt with the whole time, at the counter and in the garage, finally comes to me with the receipt, and tells me, they cant get my type of battery anymore, so they put in a different one in my car that didnt fit because it is much taller, and therefore they had to bend the bar that is supposed to hold it in place.First of all, they didnt even check with me first on if I was okay with them bending something on my precious red miata. I then drove the car home, and noticed my radio wouldnt come on. My radio worked just fine before I took it in. In fact, I was playing it on my way to Pep Boys, and I always turn my radio and air conditioner off before I turn my car off. I even noticed that a check engine light icon was now on my dash board, and my car cranked a lot before it would start. Before I took my car in, I didnt have any problems with it cranking either, it would start right away.I immediately returned to Pep Boys, and I explained to them how there was a check engine icon showing now, and that my radio wouldnt come on either, and the car cranked a lot now before starting. Patrick told me how earlier he had to turn the radio down because it was making a popping sound. It shouldnt have been on to begin with if I had turned it off before going into the store. I explained to him how I turn my radio off before I turn the car off, and he gave me no response to that. He fiddled with the car to see why the radio wouldnt come on and ended up just telling me to bring the car in tomorrow and have the mechanic look at it because he couldnt see anything that was disconnected. I took the car home, and then my mom wasnt happy with their service, so she had me return and she went with me.Patricks story changed a little as my mom dealt with him for me because I was tired of having to deal with this place. Its a headache for me each time. Patrick ended up telling my mom that the type of battery that was originally in my car could be ordered, and he said hed place an order for me. I wonder why this wasnt offered to me to begin with. And it would take 35 days (not 3 to 5 days) for it to arrive since it was coming from San Bernardino, a city that is only a 50 min drive away, if you manage to avoid rush hour traffic.We had them put my old battery back in my car. Patrick also claimed that the taller battery they put in my car was a better one than the one I had. Obviously not, if my car cranked a lot before starting, which could end up ruining my new starter too. After my old battery was put back in, my car didnt crank anymore, but the radio still wont turn on. They had a unit plugged into my fuse box, but still didnt bother to tell me why my check engine icon was on. I was resorted to keep recharging my car until the other battery came in, and hopefully they can get my radio working again. To Be Continued...

Dont waste your time. I shouldve listened to the reviews but I needed a patch job and they were the only ones open. I called at 330 to tell them I was going after 7. He says okay sounds good well see you then. I go at 7:15 and what I assume to be a supervisor came out and I told him my situation. Immediately responds with I cant do it today. I explained that I called and said Id be here for this specific thing (which btw takes no more than 30 minutes). He kept repeated himself so I asked then there was no point in calling? He continued to say he only has one guy and hes doing this and that.Im sorry but thats not my problem? I walked away.
I took my car in and dropped it off at the Fullerton store for new tires that I purchased online. I arrived on time for my appointment. Approximately 90 minutes later I received a call from the service provider that the car was ready for pickup. My wife and I arrived at Pep Boys Fullerton and paid for the tires and then proceeded to inspect the new tires. To our great surprise, we saw body damage on the passenger side of the vehicle at the front and rear doors. My wife went back in to ask the manager what had happened. Two different managers came out to observe the damage that they were already aware of! I would like to emphasize a few thoughts:1). When we paid for the tires; WE WERE NOT INFORMED OF ANY DAMAGE ON OUR VEHICLE.2).THE MANAGERS WERE AWARE OF THE INCIDENT AND CHOSE TO CONCEAL WHAT HAD HAPPENED. MAYBE HOPING THE VEHICLE WOULD LEAVE THEIR SERVICE PARKING AREA WITHOUT SEEING THE DAMAGE ON THE VEHICLE.3). PEP BOYS FULLERTON AS WELL AS PEP BOYS CORPORATE REFUSES TO ACCEPT RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE COST OF REPAIR OF OUR VEHICLE.4). PEP BOYS ALLOWS UNAUTHORIZED PERSONNEL IN THE SERVICE BAY WHO HAVE THEIR PERSONAL VEHICLES WORKED ON DURING REGULAR CUSTOMER SERVICE HOURS.I understand that accident can happen; but the refusal of acceptance of responsibility that Pep Boys has chosen to demonstrate is TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE!!!I WOULD RATE THEIR HANDLING OF THEIR RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE REPAIR OF THE DAMAGE ON THE VEHICLE THAT OCCURRED WHILE THE CAR WAS UNDER PEP BOYS CARE AND ON PEP BOYS SERVICE PARKING LOT A NEGATIVE TEN (-10).
Manager manuel very bad customer service and communication to the customers. I made an appointment at 8 on a Saturday for tire service. They told me it would take approximately 1.5 hrs. 1.5 hours passed, and I myself had to call to ask if my truck was ready. They informed me they were working on it. I was close by waiting, and I saw my truck was still parked in the same spot. I decided to go home and wait. Another 1-2 hours passed and after calling again they apologized and told me the person that was supposed to work on my truck never showed up to work and that they would get started right away. After 1 more hour of waiting, I had to call again and they informed me it was ready. I show up and before paying I take a look at my truck and the wrong tires had been placed. I had to wait even longer for the problem to get fixed. This was very frustrating because, I never received a phone call updating me on what was going on.

Never again will I trust a Pep boys. Single mom ripped off with $600+ for (4) $60 dollar tires and work I didn’t need or want. I should have trusted my local family owned Shop instead. I had an appointment scheduled at 3:30pm and I ended up asking for my key so I could leave. I left at 6pm because my car was still in the parking lot and they didnt even attempt to change my oil, even though I had an appointment. I even met a guy there who said he was there since 2:30 and when the clock hit 5pm, they didnt touch his car either. This has happened to me many times at this Pep Boys, and Ive finally learned my lesson. Even when I asked for my key to leave, they didnt apologize even though I told them Ive been here since 3:15. Next thing you know, after I left, I received an email that stated that they were glad I let them know I couldnt make it to the appointment and they were sorry to hear I couldnt make it, but wanted to rescheduled. That email was a slap in the face considering I was there for almost three hours. Anyway, dont bother coming here. Ill be getting my oil changed elsewhere.

I made an online purchase it says that would be made Next Day Afternoon and made an appointment after that and if your shipping is there before your appointment keep it I had to argue with a guy he wasnt going to do the work but he did it I told a guy if he wants more points for their business they have to make their business organized and dont let anybody else cut in in between your appointments thats not right they need to make their appointments and wait in line like everybody else and this is my best to give 4 *
Went in for a quart of oil. Service was pretty non-existent.. There was 4 people at 4 different registers talking amongst themselves and not one greeted me or asked if they could direct me to what I needed. I ended up walking to the back and found the engine oil. I didnt see what I needed. Shelves were almost empty. I ended up walking back to the front and they were still talking amongst themselves and didnt ask if I needed help. I was the only customer there in the store the whole 5 minutes I was there. Ended up leaving and not buying anything..

Just bought a low beam headlight bulb for a Venza. The store staff checked inventory, found it in stock and took care of the transaction quickly. Approximately $19, seemed a little high.
So this is the first time going to this store, im offering my first impression.I just finished picking up my car from the store, I had the tires changed, oil change, and alignment. Mike and his staff did an excellent job on the car and service. Not only did they finish the car when they estimated they would be, but they also called and emailed me to let know when it was done.The car is smooth, alignment feels good so far and the everyone at the store that I spoke to was friendly and informative. Even the tech helped me find stuff in the store.Ill be gong back to this store, the service is great, and for first impressions this experience could not have been any better. Thanks Mike!

About a the end of February I had to change the breaks for my Ford Focus. Making an appointment was so easy I got one for the next day in the morning. Came in got a wonderful experience with Ivan who guided me on the prices before i gave authorization to get the work done. I did like that the time he told me my car would be ready was accurate. I selected a day i had no work nor school nor weekend plannings witch worked out fine for me. Well after picking up my car the break service was spectacular, the tune up, oil change and spark plugs where also an additional fantastic job. My car no longer shook, nor made the squeaky noise. Technically all the problems my car had where fixed (What i paid for was worth it). Well two days ago March 22, 2016 my cars steering wheel came lose while i was in the road. I called road assistance from my insurance and the driver asked me, Where would you like to take the car? I said, Pep boys. He giggles and said, I dont think they have the skills to fix that. But i refused to listen and i called the PEP BOYS guys told them what happened and with no hesitation told me to bring in the car. So i did and i was hoping for a good answer of being able to fix it. My car stays for the night well the next day i get a call from the PEP BOYS that they fixed the steering wheel and a part that was hitting my motor. I cant complain about the price (Bring your coupon guys from online). As soon as i get in my car i started my engine WOW WOW WOW my car felt brand new. I have never felt my car so smooth when i drove it and man was the steering wheel nice and firm. I want to thank the Tech guys, the Manager, Ivan and everyone in the PEP BOYS TEAM!! Thank you I did not miss work, for school i took the bus (WOW BIG DEAL). It just takes patience cant expect these guys to finish a car in 1 or 2 hours depending on the situation too. But over ALL thank you guys you have made a life time customer. (Switching from Jiffy Lube to PEP BOYS)!P.S...More coupons PEP BOYS :D or a little bundle deal would be awesome.

I brought my car in before 3 and im sitting here at 7:40 still waiting to get my tire changed. I talked to one customer that came for the same thing 3 hours after I did and they jumped her ahead of me. If you need ypur car the same day I definitely would take it somewhere else. Looks like I still have an hour wait at least.This is my update. So i sat there about 20 or 30 more min and when they finished my car I didnt have a hub cap anymore and then I asked them what happened and they tried to say im lying i didnt have one luckily i had a picture I just sent to my boss of my tire and the hubcap is on it. I still have the picture. Then when I showed it to him he said he didnt care that i didnt have one and i can call the police and was very rude that was Luis D. Frankie is the guy who changed the tire amd Cliff is the one that did the paperwork. So 100 dollars, almost 6 hours, and a hubcap its what it took to change one tire. And original price was 82.

Never fun to get car repairs, but I have never felt like they are trying to get you to get more than needed. Long waits if you have no way to get home, but it is clean and there is coffee!
Employees are unable to provide an approximate time to repair a wheel. When the work was completed, I had to stand for another 10 minutes waiting for the employee to finish talking on the phone. Plus they lost the wheel cap. Next time I will contact another service.
Terrible service!!! DO NOT GO TO THIS SHOP!!! The mechanics where rude and super lazy!! I had a maintenance coupon for a free oil change, tire rotation AND tire pressure check. I asked for all of these services. They did the oil change then came to tell me they were done. I said why didnt you do the tire rotation? To which they said oh you wanted that too? YES! I wanted all the services! What got me the most was my check tire pressure light was on when I brought it in. I figured that they would take care of it with the tire rotation, cause normally thats what you do. Not for them I guess, the check tire pressure light was still on when I left. I had to go to a gas station to fill the tires myself which took a total of 5 min! Did I mention this all took an hour to do? Mainly because they guys took their dear sweet time doing it. The garage was not busy at all, it was my car and one other. So incredibly unprofessional, and all the guys were rude! Especially Josh, the one I dealt with most. Had I paid money for this I would have been even more upset than I am already with the terrible service.
Got referred here by the La Habra pepboys to get some Warranty work done since La Habra had lost there master tech who had originally done the work. Apparently fullerton pepboys didnt realize all pepboys cover all their Warranty. Long story short my car sat for week while the service guy basically said no its not our problem take it back to la Habra pepboys. Walter at La Habra pepboys is the man, took care of everything including the annoying service guy that was refusing to do his job. I spent $1600 for a water pump least you can do is make sure its done right and not make me wait 2 weeks after going back and forth trying to figure out the problem for weeks before that. Customer service goes a long way. Thank you Walter at La Habra Pepboys! Hopefully this was my 1st and last experience at Fullerton pepboys.
Disdapounted..went in to have my oil changed, waited 1hr & 20 min. with an appointment. No one greeted me nor acknowledged why I was standing there waiting in front of the service area...then went to a nice attentive man working on his computer & he took my order. Went to buy some items there, had a coupon but then waited & waited & waited at the lobby..till I saw no more cars in the service area, no sight of my car! Went to ask at the service desk again no one asked anything had to get this one young fellows attn to get assistance..no customer service training at all!! he went to chk & the order had been hanging w/ my keys for at least 45 min. If I didnt ask, no one would ever tell me my car was ready..used to have real good Manager & staff..been going there for yrs, not going back!! Should off read reviews before going in😐dont wadte your time & money!
What a rip-off!!! These guys will over charge you hundreds of dollars for work you dont need. Took my car in for a diagnostic, so okay, $89 to check. Then they hand me an estimate for almost $800 to repair. No way!They had duplicated parts listed and things even I know I didnt need.I took my car to another place and they only charged around $300.You would think you could trust a brand named shop but nope, not this place. Im never going to a Pep Boys again. Cant be trusted.
Avoid this place, they attempted to rip me off. Battery was dead, and they wanted to replace it and the alternator. When I asked for the alternator test to verify, it was conveniently lost. Upon retest, the alternator had no issues. Bad business!!! UPDATE: same issue occurred the next day, Pep Boys did not fix the issue. Had car jump started again and another repair shop found and fixed the issue. Not only did they attempt to sell me setting I did not need (confirmed be the second repair shop), but they also did not fix the issue the first time. Avoid this place at all costs, because it cost me more time, a battery, and a second jump start by a local tower.

Good place to find auto parts but dont EVER bring your car for service . Had all 4 struts replaced they must have used cheapest parts but charged me a ton. Struts only lasted 4 years then car was over heating they changed the usually parts. Still over heating they said needed new radiator lost confidence in them took it to a small mechanic shop he said wasnt radiator. He fixed my car and Im still driving with the same radiator 3 years later that Pep boys said needed to be replaced.
Very dishonest people work here. I asked for a simple oil change and they went ahead and did inspections on my ventilation system and tires that I did not ask for, then tried to sell me a new set of tires when my car was still new. The process took over an hour for a simple oil change, and they did not come tell me when it was complete. Also the salesman was extremely condescending that I didnt know much about car parts and I think he used that knowledge to give slow service and attempt to rip me off. I only wish I got his name. Save trouble and go to your dealership instead.
Had a flat tire, they said I need 4 new ones, went with just two, had to wait 2 hours but they finish 30 mins. quicker than they had told me.
Had my car fixed after an accident, took over a week to fix after multiple calls saying it was done. There work was great, but I had left my car with a full tank of gas and picked it up with less than half. Had a bunch of trash left inside my car along with kids toys. Even have some personal items missing from my car.
This place is absolute GARBAGE!!! We take our car in to get a brake light changed and our brakes changed...and 5 hours later they decided to tell us that there was more problems and that it needed to stay over night. 2 days and 550$ later we get the car and think its nice and dandy and fixed...when its NOT! The brake light is still out! And the brakes are even worse than before. Had I known that pepboys really and truly suck fat monkey balls then I would have made time to fix it my self or go to some other place that wouldnt scam you...bottom line..Dont go here cause they are terrible people and suck.
Please think and read the reviews before to go this place. First customer service is tereble, I felt the people work in this place they dont like what they doing they always mad and unhelpful. They should change their career if they dont like the job because they make others frustrated and sad. But I think is because their not enough personal helping. Sometime its just one person helping every single people get to this place. Maybe thats the reason why employee are always mad because they frustrate too. But is not customers fault. When I went to this place most of the people work here they were rude, waiting time is about 4 to 6 just to for a little inspection but if something big that would be be 2 to 4 weeks. In conclusion is not worthy visiting this place.
I needed a spray paint. I asked the girl to open up the case. She had no keys but assured me that someone will be right back. 10 minutes later nobody showed up, and I left. I think I can find it on Amazon.
Customer service is non existent. Parts cashier was at the register watching me look for something. Didnt offer any guidance until asked for.
They always have what I need, and if they dont... they will find it!
Went in for a smog check. They said it would take about 45-60 minutes. Two hours later they finish with the check and tell me it failed because the check engine light was on. At the beginning the guy asked if the light was on and I answered yes, yet he continued to check me in to ensure they got my cash and tried to sell me on their full diagnostic which was hundreds of dollars. He should have let me know that my car wouldnt have passed to begin with and I would have tried to fix the problem before wasting my time and money on a smog check that I wouldnt have passed.
Omg terrible service, waited over 2 hours for these people to put a plug in the tire less than a 1.5 inches away from the sidewall of my tire. Bought the tires from pepboys with the road hazard warranty. Shame on you! Thank god it was me and not my wife or kids dealing with this. Will never visit this store again, be warned, running this store like a backyard tire shop.
Tried to make a return and the guy there was condisending. And their product is rarely fully stocked. Don’t recommend.
They are pretty ok. A discounted auto service center. The people are courteous and they work on our vehicle around the appointment time and finished promptly. Store is clean, garage bays look organized as well. So far they come across as honest mechanics, not there to upsell want you did not ask for unlike most car dealership shops.
They advertise tires on their sites and they cant get them, not in stock and none in warehouses

Ive been getting my cars maintenance care here for a long time and Im always satisfied with the service, quickness, and price.
Went in for a tail light, paid to have them do it. They broke off things in my trunk, possibly trying to find how to get to the light. They didnt even bother to screw the bolt back in place: they left it on the crack of my trunk opening. Terrible service, overpaid for that unprofessionalism.
Never had a problem. Quick, efficient, and prompt. Had a battery replaced, out within thirty minutes. 👌
I had no appointment and they gladly fit me in (But it is best to make an appointment)!

Real bad service left my car for full day to just do brake inspection also had a appointment they returned my car said just need it adjusted they just made it tight and now when apply brakes the wheel sales so took it back said you guys made it worse it was just a sound issue now it shakes the guy tell me we didn’t do anything didn’t even look at the papers we didn’t charge you so didn’t do anything we looked at it said brakes are loose and gave it back so you can drive like that which is not safe good luck. Horrible service you might as well YouTube and do it yourself or take it somewhere else don’t even bother with these guys
They do good work. Not as punctual as could be but they get the job done.

WRONG the 1st time!2. my wife showed that she got the picture and the price online but the front desk Mexican person Manuel L will NOT honor it and said you need to place that order ONLINE now on your phone (which means she needs to WAIT in line AGAIN and maybe wont get her car in on time (the store closed at 7pm) because my wife is NOT GOOD with technology and this is why i took the screen shot for her so she can show the person EXACTLY what she will be ordering and paying and NO mistake there....but the result...Manuel STILL MESSED IT UP! WRONG the 2nd time!3. My wife asked Manuel 3 times and even showed the picture to him that she wanted the AS tire with the 50000 miles warranty and he said OK but gave her RS 2.0 with road hazard warranty! The RS 2.0 has NO guarantee mileage warranty on the tire!!! WRONG the 3rd time!4. My wife did NOT get a work order paper AFTER she placed the order (or else all these issues will NOT happening!) She got the paper AFTER all the tires are installed and she is ready to PICKUP the car! I think this is the BIGGEST problem!!!5. When my wife asked Manuel when her car will be ready, he ignored her rudely and cheerfully continue to talk to another Mexican customer in Spanish. My wife waited until a Caucasian front desk person showed up and asked him, and he was very nice to rush the order so my wifes car tires finally got installed.please call me (u got my information in ur database ) and let my wife drives back to the store to get her RIGHT TIRES back!PLEASE MAKE IT RIGHT, Pep Boys Management! What good is a scheduled appointment when there is no limit to the appointments made at that time.? Service ETA wasnt too far off (hour and a half).
I got into a minor car accident the night before thanksgiving and my tire immediately started losing air. I changed it to the donut and took the tire to Pep Boys. They checked the tire, found that it was a piece of plastic in the valve stem, removed it, and refilled & cleaned the tire. Patrick came out and told me the toes tire was good to go and I asked if I could change it in the parking lot. He told me to pull it in and he had his techs change it for me.
