This shop really deserves a 5 star rating.First off the owner knows a lot about coffee and is willing to share knowledge and help on different coffees he provides from all around the world.It’s almost like going into a fancy wine store and picking out different wines to experiment but with coffee.Play coffee provides a wonderful experience for coffee lovers. I’ve enjoyed coffee even more than I have just because of this shop.Employees here to always seem to be nice and in a happy helpful mood.Let’s just say overall I live 40 min away from this place and I’m willing to make the trip 2-4 times a week. Even more if I could.

I saw their Instagram was poppin so I decided to try it out. The aesthetic is so cute. The decor is playful, bright and vibrant, definitely Giving me 90s mod vibes. I got the volcano latte and one of the pastries. The sweetness level was high and the pastry was so flakey, the barista described it as like a croissant but with an orangey glaze. The staff was so friendly, answered all my questions. There is a parking lot and the menu is decent sized. Definitely want to try the shakerato.

Super chill vibe i loved it. It has a limited menu but all the options are great. I got the chamomile tea iced and sweetened and i highly recommend!!, Staff was friendly and it was a great experience overall!

The Best cappuccino Ive ever had!!!

A great little place that feels SO BIG!!This isnt your run of the mill coffee shop that pumps it out fast without a care. They take the time to craft beautiful works of art you can taste! The atmosphere feels more geared towards a younger generation while still maintaining a welcoming appeal for all ages. They transformed a shipping container into a cute small seating area with power and restrooms. Plenty of outdoor seating on both sides of the area and great spacing for that social distancing. A great hidden gem you just have to try!

Very knowledgeable and friendly. You can tell that their employees really do love coffee. Great technique and flavor!

I enjoyed the flavor of the volcano latte. According to the barista, its a brown sugar latte with a smoky sea salt. Their maple matcha latte was also pretty good. The problem with both drinks though is that they were way too milky and not strong enough for the flavors to really come through.

The guy who works there very friendly, and coffee is delicious and balanced! Definitely coming again

Found this gem while walking around downtown Fullerton. Love the coffee here. Its very good. I suggest the volcano. The atmosphere is also very nice. Many people working and chilling. Parking is fine. Just park in the downtown parking structure and walk. This place has becoming more popular recently- So I try to go when there are not that many people. Very thankful for another nice coffee place in Fullerton :D

The Espresso Tonic is really good and like nothing else ive ever tried before! Youll enjoy it ir you like adventurous flavors, as it got citrusy flavor layered in with good quality espresso and fizzy tonic! I enjoyed it and will be back to try the Cascara drink (they were all out!). The environment is fun too!

A really interesting coffee shop made from shipping containers! Tasty brews and a laid back atmosphere complement the fun architecture!

I had the volcano latte and it was just as he described a hint of sweet and salty and so delicious. Will be coming back to try more.

PLAY coffee is one of my favorite coffee shops in OC. I go to every coffee shop in Orange County and surrounding areas, and not only is it a cool spot, but also has amazing coffee! The shop has an amazing water filtration system, which helps gives the espresso a nice and rich taste. Thanks for the great coffee PLAY!

These guys know coffee. Owner is a coffee connoisseur who gets the highest quality coffee beans. Love their coffee as is black, no sugar, no cream. The flavor is delicious.Ambience is amazing. Using shipping containers for sustainable design. Play coffee is the perfect coffee / snack / brunch meet up spot!
