6:25 AM, two people working and 3 customers standing in line. We were totally ignored for 6 min. ( I timed our wait with my iPhone stop watch). I’m amazed that not one employee could not acknowledge our presence and even tell us that they will be with us in just a moment. It really tells you they don’t care and Starbucks is just down the road.

Despite not usually offering the peach tea hot, they experimented with us and brewed the cold tea hot. It smelled and tasted great, even another customer asked what the delicious smell was. Thanks for the experience!

Went here after eating nearby and ordered a drink for my daughter and I. The cashier applied a discount without me knowing if it, great job. Your drinks were made really good as ordered.

When was the last time you were in a coffee place, and the guy/gal/etc. was so nice you were happy to push that tip __% key on the card swiping screen. Well, that was the kind of genuine niceness I experienced from the guy last night. No attitude. So thats the first +.Ironically, Im not into hot coffee (iced and creamy and sweet..Thai or Vietnamese iced coffee rules!). I love love love The Coffee Bean and TEA LEAF® TROPICAL PASSION ICED TEA. and..theres caffeine in it! I get lots of liquid sugar added. And they risk dysentery and tribal wars and cannibals to secure black tea that somehow metamorphosizes into a Polynesian Mango Explosion..begging the question.. Cant you just take Lipton and add the de-bittering tropical passion extract, saving time and risk of life; here..as quoted on the side of the tin I added in Photos here; Our hand-plucked, pure Ceylon black tea from Sri Lanka..Oh joy, sounds like we have poor, oppressed Sri Lankan field hands hand plucking our imperialistic tea.Oh, well. Lets be extra thankful to everyone who made the best damn iced tea from the original coffee chain of SoCal, one that probably pre-dates Sta*f*cks by 30 years or more, as well as Peets bitter sludge made by our friend to the North, Berkeley.Its way better than Sweet Tea, famous in the alligator alleys of the Deep South. Like Paula Dean. Gross.This is like a Jimmy Buffett song that doesnt get stale, or the flavor of the essence of the taste of a Gauguin Tahitian river where a moment lasts a lifetime.Or Fruit Stripe gum...

I love this Coffee bean & tea leaf location. Staff is always polite and they always get my drink right. Not to mention they are pretty quick on getting your drink to you.

This is my go-to coffee spot. The staff has always been very friendly, they are great with timing, and the place is always clean. There used to be a dog that would always be laying outside taking the sun (complete with a mat and bowl of water) while he waited for his owner who would be inside. Absolutely adorable! Very calm. Goes to show everyone has a great time here! Even if it is while waiting outside.

Best coffee its my favorite place to go

Lots of seating for the whole family, friendly and helpful staff. Stopped here on mothers day for a coffee date with Mom. They were super sweet about us moving some tables together. And Im pregnant so I was SUPER excited to discover they have a caffeine free black forest. Also, a sugar free mocha for Mom. Love that we can get tasty drinks while remaining conscious of our health needs.

Coffee here is a hit and miss. Sometimes its good sometimes its not. Sometimes its hot sometimes its not. Unfortunately the bad out ways the good. All the girls here are super nice and friendly. There are two guys here who are absolutely horrible, they always seem unhappy I always smile at them and say Hi they never acknowledge. Even a smile would be nice theres a reason why your at Coffee Bean make the most of it or find another job, I understand its hard for you but you may get lucky one day. Oh and just so theres no confusion the white bald guy is always, not sure hes there anymore. Dont blame him, I dont go there anymore either use to go all the time.

I went in yesterday and received very poor customer service. What coffee shop doesnt carry heavy cream? Didnt have to be rude about it. The guy who attempted to take my order seemed like he didnt want to be working. Give the job to someone who WANTS to provide great customer service. I will NEVER come here again.

Q - are needed for the morning employee with glasses. A attitude adjustment is needed for the whole store. The manager was out front for a change and was present when the smart mouth kid talks to a customer with a attitude. Did he say anything? Well, no. Why would he As he does not like customers any better than his employees. They need to send a secret 😂 shopper in to see for themselves. They would replace the morning crew and give a little training to the evening crew.

Dont waste your time here. Sign says they open at 5 am. Employees in the morning are very unprofessional. I was there at 5:30 am today and they hadnt even opened the doors or even turned on the lights. I cant help but feel the male employee with glasses is racist... just stay away from this place trust me..

This location is great. Ive been here several times and the service is on point, bakery goods are fresh, orders made at a decent time. Couldnt ask for more than what they already do.

Really nice coffee place indoor as well as outdoor seating. Friendly servers and very clean. They have a 32 ounce cup does the same price as Starbucks 22 oz large. Love their pomegranate blueberry ice Blended drink so refreshing

Let me start by saying that the one star Im giving them is not for their coffee. coffee Bean has always been my favorite coffee of choice / Starbucks. And if it were just for coffee only I would give this particular store a five-star. However as I was waiting for my coffee a man about my age in pair of jeans nice t-shirt Harris calm nice hat came in and asked to use the bathroom. Not only was he refused to use the bathroom and was told that to be able to eliminate his bladder he had to purchase something from coffee Bean. when the gentleman left the two associates there started making fun of him. I was extremely upset that they would do this and even more upset that they were making fun of him.

One of the best place that you can feel the local vibe. We are very fortunate that we to this place to taste really good quality food and decent coffee. A must visit.

The staff here is super friendly and helpful; one - who could not have helped me more than once - immediately recited my order on my arrival. Also, someone on staff - or a customer? - is really good at drawing cartoon and comic book fanart on the coffee bags. Worth checking out.

This place has the good mocha latte. Its has a richer taste compared to most places Ive been.

Last weekend I went to grab some hot tea with my mom & sister. I was helped by the best barista EVER, Marciel. I was just going to get a cup of hot tea and he suggested I try the Winter Dream chai tea. I was certain I didnt like chai tea. He pulled out the canister so I could smell it and it did smell like a Winter Dream! He promised me I would love it, then promised me I would love it as a latte (which I never drink).OMG you guys! This was the best thing I have ever had to drink! I have been thinking about it all week. I wish I lived closer to your location so I could go there but I will be going to my Marciel-less CB&TL closer to me today to pick one up.To the management team there, this guy was great! If I could give you more than 5 stars I would. He changed what was a one-time drop in, to a week-long hankering (dare I say low-key obsession) for a TEA (tea?!) and likely now a loyal customer (unless your non-Christmas time offerings arent great) who spends far too much money as it is at that other place with a ⭐️ in its name.

The flat white coffee was good but lacked a richness of flavor. I did like the dark notes at the end though. I will try more of their coffees and be back tomorrow.

I ordered a coconut latte which was delicious. The temperature inside the coffee shop paralleled the outside temp of 60°. If it was hot outside it may have felt a bit more refreshing. The service was good and so was the coffee

5 stars for the girls in the shop and for my excellent 32oz iced decaf 5shot 1/2 hazlenut 1/2 dark chocolate latte. It was perfect! However! A big fat 0 stars for whoever is responsible for switching CB&TL bakeries! Came in for my drink and saw chocolate twists. I was excited because theyve been mia for a bit, albeit, they look a little different. Much to my disappointment, you have switched bakeries. Old chocolate twist? Amazing, powder-flaky, soft, loaded, deliciousness. New chocolate twist? Greasy, No flavor, mushy and really kinda gross. I wish CB&TL would consider using the other bakery again. Or tell me who the other bakery is so I can find their items. Please and thank you.

Lazy Management. Heres a pic of a $6.60 drink, the 32oz Vietnamese Iced Cold Brew, when I was finished. Its my favorite currently. But, look at how much ice they put. When I just picked it up, it was at least 2/3rds full of ice. Hard to tell when everything is mixed, and looks roughly homogeneous. Maybe they filled the whole 32oz with ice, then poured the coffee in. IDK. But, it felt like I finished it in less than 10 sips. Maybe I got 12oz solid ounces of actual beverage. If youre reading this, ask them to watch the ice.

Nice and comfy, better than going to Starbucks. Prices are similar and flavor as well but at least the waiting time is nothing compared and theres always sitting and clean tables.🖒

This coffee bean had great and friendly service. There are plenty of chairs and tables to relax or study. The only problem is that there are a very limited number of outlets.

Hands down this Coffee Bean kicks Starbucks in the butt for customer service. Parker has customer service down pat. He told me to try a drink that he likes and WOW. I am now hooked.

I’ve been going here for about 6 months now and they still don’t know my name. I go here pretty often and am an avid coffee bean customer. Actually I’m pretty hardcore. The locations on Katella, Tustin, Main St, Main Place Mall, and 17th St know my face well. They caught on and knew my name after a few visits. So I ordered a large Black Forest and used my free drink redemption. Guy messes up my order and I correct him. He insists he heard me say regular. I’m like no. If it’s a free drink, I choose to get a large. ALWAYS. I want to make the most of my free perk. I’ve been going to Coffee Bean stores for 10+ years. But on top of that, he makes a face as if I lied. Really now? Customer service sucks here. They are too involved having conversations amongst coworkers and do not focus on their customers. This is not to bash the company, just this store. I choose Coffee Bean because of the coffee of course, but also their customer service. The managers and supervisors at the other stores in Orange County are amazing. Lily, Michael, Diego....great people.
