I bought a core aerator for my lawn here. When I brought it home to use it, 1 if the hole works ok, the dirt did came out as I pushed down the lawn, but the other hole, the dirt stuck in there and did not come out. Instead of creating hold in the lawn, it just pushed the soil aside and made it more compact. My wife brought the item back to return, but the store manager was saying there was nothing wrong with the aerator, and it was because of our soil, and nothing wrong with the holes in the aerator. What do you mean because of the soil?? The soil stuck in there, it is not supposed to be stuck in there, its supposed to push the soil out every single time the aerator wash pushed down on the lawn. Such dumb answer from a store manager. I would give 0 star if I could.

I have been to this location several times after going to a big box store and being ignored. Here I am always taken care of and today was no exception. Dakota took time to look at the broken hardware I had brought with me, find how they could help me, open several of their packages to find the right pieces for me, and even sent me an email with a link to one additional part they do not carry. I left with confidence that I could finish my home repair issue without any problems. Yes this hardware store is further from my house, but I always leave with exactly what I need and I am always treated with respect which unfortunately does not occur at the big box competitor.

Site shows several space heaters in stock at store. Went to the store and they said none available and internet is not in real time. Out of all brands while site shows different brands in stock.

Its always easy to get individual help here and definite answers. Went looking for xmas light gutter hooks and the man who helped me already new what was available and exactly where it was.They werent what i needed but its still very helpful for me to not waste my time searching for something that is not available.

I had a great experience with curbside pickup! My item was 18.95 on Amazon and 4.99 here. I picked it the next day. You get texted when it is ready. There is a well marked out pickup parking spot and a cheerful employee puts it in your trunk!

Kenny helped me repair a 200 year old sewing box-searching out the right pieces of hardware needed & even getting his drill to help put it back together.Excellent customer service!

Ordering process was very easy. Received email that product was ready for pickup as notrd. Went to store and picked up my product. Could not be much easier. And the people at Ace Hardware in Fullerton are always helpful.

The lady cashier (Lisa) is rude. She needs to learn how to treat customers.

Ace Hardware is truly your neighborhood hardware store. I had my window screen repaired by them and they did an great job at a good price. Home Depot or Lowes does not provide this kind of service. The people who work there are very friendly and helpful and they also sell unique products and have a Hallmark store too.

Ive been to this hardware store many times and the customer service on the sales floor is excellent. On my visit of 1/23/19 I was helped at the register by Rachel. Her and the other older lady were talking bad about a customer because he wouldn’t get off the phone while they rang him up. Yes I understand that may be rood but they shouldn’t talk about that in front of other customers. I paid for my items and my items weren’t even bagged. I asked Rachel if the bags are free or do I need to pay for it? She said its free. So I asked for a bag. When I got my things in the bag I said to her “Thank you have a nice day” and i got no response from her. I walked towards the door and said again HAVE A NICE DAY. And no response. I honestly felt like returning my items. So maybe some one can tell me who’s more rood.....the customer who was on the phone or Rachel who cant or didnt want to acknowledge me I was just trying to be polite to them.

I have been shopping at Fullerton Ace Hardware for 20 years and I am never disappointed. The best customer service in retail. If they don’t have what your looking for which is rare they will point you in the right direction. You get what you pay for here which is service and quality.

This is the place you come to when the big hardware stores dont carry that little random piece you need for a house project and when you need good advice from someone with actual experience in house repairs. Staff is friendly and helpful but prices are a bit higher than the bigger hardware stores. Overall good place.

This place is amazing. They always have what Im looking for and someone handy to show me where it is. Not only that they understand what Im looking for and which item will be best for my situation. And the best part is Im in the door and on my way out before I would have found a parking space at the big box stores.

This store has been around for as long as anyone can remember, and it is considered something of a staple in the downtown business community (though, for quite some time now it has been increasingly surrounded by more lifestyle and fine dining establishments than one can count). If you need something a bit more specialized and you just cannot find it anywhere else, you can bet that 99% of the time this place will have it (as was the case with a fairly priced T Screwdriver set containing the elusive size of T5). Given the area in which its located, if your a hipster with a home improvement fetish this place will be paradise. Minus one star because it feels a bit cramped inside and I wish they would/could expand.

I was Highly disappointed to walk in and see 98% employees wearing face Shields and NOT face masks.

They had the bolts I desired. Found all the corresponding washers and nuts for me, notated the pricing, discussed different options, and made the whole experience pleasant.

Theres a cashier by the name of Lisa thats developed a reputation for bad customer service at this Ace, Ive had multiple people tell me be on the look out for her. Thought it couldnt be that bad but turned out shes a jerk. Be wary.

Very helpful staff! They found the specific things I was looking for, and had a couple of suggestions to go along with them. Evening parking in downtown Fullerton is always a pain, but thats not Aces fault.

This Ace is the friendliest hard wear store you will ever visit! We have been frequenting it for 6 years now and have never been disappointed. The employees are helpful, knowledgable and resourceful when it comes to various household projects. We absolutely love them!!

I bought a stud finder. Didn’t work properly. Went to return the next day and they didn’t accept it. They returned the person infront of me and didn’t return mine. Very rude made me feel very bad.

Customer service was exceptional, everybody in there helps you with a smile. I was amazed at the contents organization. This was just a pleasant trip, even just to buy some screws. Would definitely return for my hardware necessities.

Just visited this store for the first time and I am blown away. My daughter mentioned that they have a selection of fairy garden items, which was the draw to get me to the store. I bought a few items, with the intention of returning on a regular basis to add to my garden collection. I would love to see more tiny plants that would work well in a fairy garden. The plant section is skimpy, but I can overlook that, since there are several home and garden stores in the area. I bought a charming birdbath, on sale, for $29.99 (which looks great in my garden.) The gift section and home goods aisles are packed with unique items. This is the place I will return to, time and again, for gifts for everyone on my list. What I reallllly want, is the gazebo and swing....but must save up for those purchases! Stop by, you wont be sorry!

Worst experience ever!! These people want to charge a restocking fee on merchandise I pre-ordered from a shipment that was due to come in. I never received the merchandise. Was tired of waiting for their shipment. Went to get a refund and was charged a 20% restocking fee! Seriously!! On merchandise I never received! Stay away from this place. Crooks! I wish I would have read previous bad reviews.

This was my first visit at Fullerton Ace Hardware store. It felt more like I was at Home Depot or Lowes. Although the employees were nice they were not very helpful.They just point and say try that isle. But the item is not there. I ask again. They say then try that isle or this isle. Again the item Im looking for Is not at those locations.I felt like I was being politely brushed off. As if they did not want me in their store. Snobbyish.Ive been to the Ace Hardware stores in La Puente, Covina and San Dimas. The employees at those stores are very helpful. They are polite and walk me to the area to find the item/items that Im looking for and stay with me until I find it. Even when I say its okay Ill find it on my own they still assist and stay with me until I find what Im looking for. As the commercial says Ace is the Place with the helpful Hardware Folks. NOT IN FULLERTON!If I should be in Fullerton again and need something from a hardware store I may go to Fullerton Ace Hardware store, but I wont expect them to assist me. Ill just look for it myself. Or go to Home Depot.

I can get hard to find hardware items here that Lowes and HD dont have. Today it was a specific kitchen faucet cartridge. In the past its been items such as specific fasteners.
