I highly recommend taking your car to this great team.. they helped me out when no one else would.. I had a nail in my tire and I had no locking lug key to get my tires off they told me to come in right away as soon as I got there they started my car and even gave me the key I needed for the future they had me in and out in about 15 minutes! I had gone to Walmart advance Auto and AutoZone and everyone shrugged me off.. these guys are outstanding five stars for sure!!!

Ive been bringing my cars here for a while now and they have great customer service. Im in and out quickly with good quality work. A benefit, they work until 8:30 every Thursday so it gives me time after work to get my car in. Highly recommend this place.

Great customer service very professional. They have done my tires on my Jeep Wrangler and I couldnt ask for better service. When my mom needed tires to pass her inspection it was not a problem they took her right in and got her cat inspected with great new tires. Several months later a bulge began in her front right tire and again not a problem they got her right in and replaced the bad tire in no time. They have even done my ATV tires. I may not live in Fulton, but I will always bring any of my brake, alignment, and tire needs to Fulton Mavis Tire.

Billy the manager & Tim the technician were very knowledgeable & great to deal with. Very quick diagnosis & repair to my vehicle. Mavis has a dynamic duo with those two guys in the same shop together. As long as they are there, Ill be a customer! I will recommend to everyone to use the Fulton shop.

I was in for service on my vehicle, and the staff, was fantastic. The technician who worked on my vehicle was Nate. The assistant manager was, Noah. I must say they were both extended polite, and knowledgeable of my vehicle needs. Noah, was very helpful in taking in consideration of my time constraints. Nate, performed the work on my vehicle. He utilized plastic covers for my seats, and a floor mat, while wearing gloves during the after work test drive. He gave me a verbal reminder to return for my lug nuts to be tightened after 25 miles. I can’t express the gratitude I have for the high level of respect from these young men. They are an asset to the Mavis Discount Tires, Oswego, NY location.

Been coming here for all car troubles since i came to school in Oswego 4 years ago. I’ve come for inspections, oil changes, new tires, etc. When helping with tires, they worked with me to find the best option for a decent price. Everyone is very nice here and i don’t feel like i have to worry about the mechanics upselling to me because i am a young female.

Great service at the shop. They had 3 guys working they all communicate with me at different times about different things. Did their best to save me a couple dollars and make sure everything was safe. Didnt try and rip me off which you lot of places will. So if you dont know what youre doing and you dont want to get ripped off and one good quality service I recommend very highly.

I came into the Mavis store the day after Thanksgiving with two small nails in my tire. I was told that they cannot plug/patch the tire because it is too close to the side wall. I was told I needed a new tire so I asked the guy who was working on the tire if there was any Mavis Tire centers in Virginia because that’s where we live and I was assured that there was a Mavis in Virginia he said we have stores up and down the east coast. I purchased the tire with the road hazard $159.00 for 1 tire. Well I got a nail in it and called Mavis to find the closest store and I was told there is one in Pennsylvania, North Carolina and Georgia I told them that the closest one in NC is over two hrs away and I was told then go to Walmart and have it fixed. I went to the tire store today and the nail is too close to the side wall of the tire and I had to replace the tire. If I would’ve known there wasn’t a Mavis in Virginia I would’ve drove to Clay and went to Firestone because they stand behind their products. Mavis has went down hill for their customer service and warranty coverage. Stay away from MAVIS!!!

Good place to stop in to get a look at my exhaust that was hanging by a thread at the crossover...had i waited for two weeks it might had fallen off ...they got the part sooner than expected and fixed it that same day....very happy with the idea that they looked at it asap

Carrie provided customer service that went above and beyond a standard repair shop. She was incredibly patient and helped me understand which tires would best suite my family. The service took a little longer than expected but Carrie allowed me to work in the lobby as my car was serviced. I will be back! Very impressed!

Randomly stopped in here after being turned down at other places with difficult tires. They were helpful and courteous, and told us they would give it a shot. They ended up changing all four, and did not stop till they had them all right. They went above and beyond when they didnt have to, and were very pleasant. I would highly recommend!

Super fast service, my wife blew a tire out on 481. Once they got it in the shop they noticed the tie rod ends were worn they actually brought me out to the shop and showed me the wear. Told them Id fix them myself but their price was to good so I had them repair the tie rods and do an alignment while I was there. In and out in just over a hour without an appointment!!

They made it right i spoke too soon before talking to the manager I was just upset their customer service is amazing and the manager is understanding and the most helpful person Ive talked to in any shop.I will be taking my car to mavis for anything else it may need that they can fix because they do good quality work.

I needed 4 new tires for my 2002 Buick Century. Did not want to spend a lot on such an old car. Mavis Discount Tire gave the best price I could find in my area (Fulton, NY). The service was great! The lady behind the service counter, sorry never got her name, was extremely helpful and nice! Anyone looking for tires at a good price and great service, give Mavis a try. One other thing, I did not have to wait long.

I called to schedule an appointment for tires, and an exhaust issue. The manager, Carrie, was do rude and short with me in the phone that I decided to call the regional office to make them aware of how ignorant she was.The gentleman I spoke to said he would review the audio recording and speak to her. He also offered to make me an appointment in the Bville store. I declined.

Currently 6 hours of waiting for new tires to be put on. Get a call that its done just to be told my brake line blew after he finished. Not impressed at all.

I ended up broke down on Route 3 outside of Fulton with a snapped serpentine belt... They were nice enough to squeeze me in on the same day so I could be on my way. And considering Im from Rochester... I really appreciated that. Saved me from having to get a hotel.

I wish i could give less then this. I took my vehicle there to get work done, i asked them more than once if it was possibly to have this done same day because i have to work. They promised me it would be. I waited all day until about 550pm still receiving no call about my vehicle, so i called them. They informed me then it would not be done until the next morning. Also was over charge by a good 100 dollars

This mavis in Fulton has been the best store I have used very kind and courteous and well knowledge store that I have used for service. I fully recommend this store The manager has great knowledge of parts and repair and knows how to treat a customer

Had to have tires.Made my decision to go to Mavis Discount Tire in Fulton NY. They were pleasant, made suggestions, answered all my questions.It took them less time than I figured. Was very pleased with them.

Very unorganized. Nothing but lies and excuses. We dropped a car off Sunday to get studded snow tires. Sunday evening go get car no studs. Then it became a daily game of excuses and no call backs. Until we were just done and asked them to put our old tires on. It cost us money just to commute for work being down a car. When the appointment was made in advance. Tommy and Andrew kept making excuses oh you can’t order stuffed tires now oh the gun is broken, never following up and letting us know what’s going on. The icing on the cake to show how horribly managed this office is we picked the car up yesterday with our OLD tires and they called this morning to tell us the car is done 😂 what a joke.

James worked hard for an entire day to replace my tire and find the correct sized tool to remove my odd-sized lug nuts.He communicated effectively with me all day and was very professional. He was polite and calm even when I was frustrated. As a commuter between SUNY Oswego and Syracuse, Mavis was great after losing my tire in a pothole in Fulton on a dark, rainy night. The tow truck dropped my car there and I called them in the morning. They were understanding and helpful.

These people are honest, have GREAT deals, best prices, and the customer service is phenomenal... The mechanics are great, and the tire techs are on point. This is the best place to get honest work done on your car. Ive come here for years and the staff have always given me their advice on what I should do for my car even if it means they dont make as much. I went in because I thought I needed new tires, seeing as I cant get out of the driveway in my apartment complex. Took my car in to get new tires and was told that my tires are actually fine. Ended up just getting a couple of snow tires and now I dont have an issue getting up the hill here. Will definitely be returning again, as usual.

Went to get my new tires for my truck dropped it off at 10am and didnt get it back till 5pm. When I got home Notice that my Hub cap was missing from one of my tires and missing 3 of the value stem caps and found scratches on my drivers side door with grease. Poor job for how much I paid............they did up finding the hub cap and they did call and the scratches were from grease and dirt so it really wasnt a scratch

Made an appointment to day 12-8 at 10:30am for snow tires.I own a transportation business and schedule is tight.I called yesterday and confirmed this morning st 8am before I drove 45 minutes to get here that that was still a good time. He said yes. I asked if he was sure because I have to be back in Syracuse by 1pm. He replied that my car will be done way before that.So I drive the 45 minutes to get here and store manager says it will take 3 hours before it will even get into the shop and over a hour to get tires on. Im not the smartest guy in the world but that sounds like car wont be done until 2:30pm and then 45 minutes to get into Syracuse.Your $700 sale just poofed away. Good job guy

Usually great service from these folks, from the counter service person to the mechanics and technicians. Have used Mavis at several locations and like the fact they are all linked together via computer so when you take your vehichle to a different location, they can pull up your records. Prices are fair and service is prompt. I trust them and recommend them.

On Nov 18th I bought and paid for 4 snow tires and a front end alignment for my daughters car and made the appointment for Nov 29th at 8am when my daughter would be home from college. All info was put into the computer on Nov 18th by Tommy the assistant manager. My wife dropped off the car on Nov 29th and they had no record of anything, and only had 3 of the 4 tires I bought. My wife had to leave our copy of the reciept/work order so they knew what had to be done, and they had to send a runner to Pulaski to get the 4th tire. We also asked them to code the check engine light that was on. They said ok and would call when the car was done. Finally on the 30th i called and asked if the car was done. They had no idea and had to check for the car. Yup its done (thanks for the call). They never checked the engine code because the machine had been down for awhile which they never said the day before. They said to take it to Auto Zone because they send everyone there. Auto Zone had no clue about that! After getting back home, I called and said I wanted a printed receipt of the work done, and double checked on the front end alignment (that was already paid for) to make sure it was done. The printer was down and NOPE - the front end alignment was never done! They just gave us the car and never said a word! After talking to them on the phone they said bring the car back and well get you right in to do it. I brought the car back and they said it would take an hour to get it in the garage. I said to just give me a refund. Nope, I gotta talk to Andrew the manager on Monday about that. Ill be going back this Monday to have a chat with Andrew about the incompetence of his work crew. I only gave one star because there are no half-star ratings. Worst experience ever!!

Mike the manager was very friendly and professional. Cannot beat these rates..... dealership wanted to do the same job for 75$ more. They had my car in and out within 2 hours.Updated: 22July2018- Assistant manager Tony is a pretty funny guy. Tony always get me and my fiancée cracking up either in person or over the phone. I’ve come back about 3 times this year and dealt with Tony each time. Sometimes I have random questions and not only will he give me his advice but he will always break down the process and explain the pros and cons. Few months back my car was making weird noises on my way back from work and I brought it in and Tony and one of his workers took a look at it, sprayed a few things and it was free of charge. The advice he give me ended up saving me a lot of time and a pretty decent amount of money. I’ve read some of the other reviews, and like anything do your research but if you end up dealing with Tony, I think you’ll be alright.

The Fulton shop use to be good, thats no longer the case. Ive had thousands of dollars worth of work done and almost everything they did last less than a year. They used really cheap parts according to the dealer that has been replacing all the junk parts they over charged me for. I get to pay twice. Horrible shop. Save your money and have it done right once.

I bought 4 new snow tires from these charming folks last year, and asked for a 4 wheel alignment. I paid over $800 dollars in the process. Over the course of 4 months of use, all tires showed uneven wear (feathering, and camber wear). Mavis would not reimburse me for the tires. They checked their records, and said that the wear was due to alignment issues, and that no alignment was done when the tires were bought despite the fact that I had requested it to be done. I told told them I had asked for a 4 wheel alignment at the time of the purchase. The manager said he couldnt do anything about it. I talked to the regional manager, and asked if Mavis routinely puts on 4 new tires without recommending a 4 wheel alignment to customers. He said no, but he still couldnt do anything about it. The staff at the Fulton Mavis are either incompetent, or willfully fraudulent The company does not back their inferior products or their incompetent employees.

Stopped in to see about a quote...got a hard sell instead. Wanted to charge me for even looking at the car. Simple repair, did it ourselves.

Where do I start? First off I had to wait 5 hours to get my car in the door. Every time I asked what was going on Id see 3 people sitting down in the corner of the shop smoking. And was told that they are short a guy. I watched them sit and smoke for 5 hours. Doing absolutely nothing. Then I finally had my tires put on. After I left 2 went flat. They never cleaned the bead or used bead seal. So I had to have this brainless work done by my local auto mechanic. He wss in disbelief of the workmanship. I will not return, I will warn my friend and family and you, the person reading this.

Honest & integrity...my ass. They quoted me $400 for a brake job on Stonewall (my mustang) it ended up at $800. That was with discounts...wink/wink. Then with my Saturn aura they said I need a control rod (around $300.) I ended up taking it to another mechanic and he said there was nothing wrong with the connecting rod. Hmmmm. I wont ever be back.Mavis employees,Dont try to pull a fast one with a Scorpio.

This Mavis is a slimy and dishonest shop. Took my car in for inspection where they claimed all 4 of my rotors and pads were bad. Along with this they said my 2 rear brake pads were cracked. For the front pads they said they were worn to far to be safe. To top it off they tried saying neither one of my rear calipers were working. I didnt believe them because the brakes on the car worked fine and the front set had been done in the last 6 months. Took it to my mechanic (he doesnt do inspections) where he looked over the listed issues. Of all the supposed brake system issues only the left rear caliper was not working. They wrote me a quote for over 1000 dollars to have the work done as well. They clearly were preying on someone who they assumed didnt understand cars. I would not get any work here done due to the dishonest nature of this inspection. Above all else do not go here for an inspection because they will try to get you to sign up for an incredible amount of work .
