For the second time my mother’s appointment took over 2 hours. 90% of the time she is left waiting in rooms. The actual contact time for exam is 30 minutes. The tests do not require this amount of time or waiting. One appointment she never actually saw the doctor. New prescription glasses 8 weeks, called still not ready, 2 weeks later they arrived but were incorrect. CRAZY! My optometrist appointments in Columbia take 30 minutes, may wait 5 minutes tops and always see Dr. This Fulton doctor and or office manager need to wake up —- schedule or staff more effectively your patients deserve better. Time is valuable don’t be so disrespectful. To potential or existing patients of Dr Vann - take my advice - drive 30 minutes to Columbia, see a Dr, drive 30 minutes back to Fulton You will be 30 minutes ahead. You deserve better treatment. ZERO ⭐️

They are thorough. I enjoy my appts there. They help me find the right frames.

Went in for exam. Exam was extensive. The staff helped me choose a pair of glasses that look good on me. One week later my glasses wete ready. Vision was better with my glasses than at any place I have had my eyes tested at before and at a considerable lower price. I would definitely recommend Vision Arts eye doctor if you need your eyes tested for either new glasses or first time for glasses.

They did a great job making me feel heard and important. I walked away feeling very well informed. I feel so fortunate to have such a professional and educated business in our small town. This had to be the most comprehensive eye exam I have ever had. I appreciated everyone explaining what they were doing and why. When I left, I was confident that the treatment was appropriate for my needs, and I will follow up. They arent just about selling you new glasses. They want you to be able to see your best and do what is best for your eyes.

I was treated with respect, everyone I interacted with was quite knowledgeable, they explained everything and questions were encouraged. I appreciated their efforts to review my insurance, and help make the cost affordable. I am confident that this doctor and staff will provide me with the vision care I need.

I had my first visit with Vision Arts Eyecare. The optometrist took time to explain everything going on with my eyes and ways that I can protect my eyes. I learn too many things that I never knew. The women in the office were so nice and helpful. Definitely going to stick with this eye doctor.

This was my first visit to this office. I was really impressed with their use of new technologies to provide me with the best possible prescription. I’m very pleased with Vision Arts for getting me in on a cancellation after injuring my eye. They were able to get me in in a timely manner, and immediately took care of me. They made me as comfortable as possible, got the exam underway, and took care of the injury with care and speediness (I was extremely thankful for the efficiency!).I highly recommend this business for any eye care.... they are very thorough in making sure everything is just right, and that you are completely satisfied with the service you receive; very personalized care (no cookie-cutter operation here!).

Very thorough! Dr Vanns staff calls you in and remains with you throughout so that you do not need to answer same questions multiple times. Dr. Vann devotes the time needed to each patient and does not rush through his examination - he makes sure that he has addressed any and all concerns that a patient has before leaving them. Wow!! I was a walk in/ unscheduled first time customer. I had gotten a chip of wood in my eye, and after going to urgent care, something was still not right. The staff was extremely helpful and they were able to work me into their schedule an hour after I called. Doctor Vann found a splinter in my eyelid, and a day later my eye feels wonderful! Extremely knowledgeable, patient, and thorough.... I now have my new eye doctor and we couldnt be any happier!!

I find vision arts to be the knowledgeable eye care center I know of. I have been to others, but not by choice but circumstance. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and Ive never had to wait a long time at an appt. Dr. Van has recommended to me to see other health professionals in different fields because of concerns he had from what he saw and he was spot on. I’ve seen Dr. Vann for years, and he’s a 40 min drive away, while a major eye institute is 5 min at the most. He has advanced equipment which allows my eyes to be fully examined without being dilated. I have a genetic corneal defect, which he manages, and caught something after my cataract surgery which caused me a lot of problems. I trust him and his staff completely, and they work with my insurance to save me the most out of pocket $$. I promise you, the drive to Fulton will be way worth it.

Our dog broke my glasses and rather get a be pair with my old prescription I was able to love my appointment up 2 months. Ive been having other issues and Dr. Vann took the time to explain what was going on and what can be done.

Im pleased at the thorough exams given at Dr. Vanns, and appreciate the preventative care Ive received there. Im also a believer in annual check-ups to provide a baseline and notice any changes that occur. One doesnt feel a build-up of pressure in an eye - its discovered through that very routine and painless pressure check at the office. Thank goodness, mine was diagnosed before any evident damage was done! I am forever grateful for that!

A fellow mother from work recommended VisuonArts to me. Everyone from the people at the front desk to the Optometric Technicians were fantastic. They made me feel comfortable and were all very nice and worked well with my daughter.However the Optometrist Mr. Vanns I was not at all impressed with. Although he acted kindly. I felt I was rushed and distrusted. I took my daughter in for an eye exam and to see if a reoccurring/chronic intermittent esotropia was as concerning as previously thought to be by an Optometrist at Children’s Mercy Kansas City, who had suggested the possibility of surgery being necessary. He had told me that her condition could be something she might grow out of and I should seek professional opinions again when she is in kindergarten if the condition persisted. As my daughter is now a kindergartener and her symptoms have persisted I took her to be seen. Mr. Vanns asked me of my daughters symptoms and I explained to him the history of my daughters visional concerns. Mr. Vanns reassured me that he cared deeply about the status of my daughters eyes, but then repeatedly insisted that there was nothing at all wrong with her and that I would need to be “the bad guy” if I wanted to try dilating drops to help further get an understanding of my daughters situation. He repeated himself over and over to me that since he could not see the complication in the matter of 15 minutes that there was nothing that could be done. He suggested that I should come back in 6 months and see if the situation (that has been occurring for years) would get any better. As a mother and a nurse having someone repeatedly tell me that there’s nothing going wrong with my child over and over again after I have seen her complication for years was beyond aggravating. I left the office in tears. I’m very surprised with my visit today as this place came highly recommended and the reviews are just about all 5 stars but, I most definitely do not recommend based on my experience today.

I cant begin to share with you the miracle they performed on my vision. I have been treated by the best of the best at several large university optho departments. No one even mentioned the lenses Dr. Vann utilized in treating my Kerataconus which Ive had for 30 plus years. My vision in my right eye had dropped to 20/200 corrected!!!! Dr. Vann and Chris now have me at 20/35!!!! It has opened my world and I can see things I never thought possible. I am humbled and so pleased with this incredible practitioner. It makes me want to cry!!!!

I have received eye care from Dr.Vann ever since he first started his practice in Fulton. At least 25 years now. Over the years my family has had minor emergencies and he has always gotten us in for an appointment regardless of how busy his office was that day.I have always been impressed with the services I have received there. In my former line of work there was always a good chance of my glasses being damaged. My employer never paid for glasses damaged on the job. Whenever he could Dr.Vann had his staff repair my glasses for free.
