Too many people too close together. lack of stock also got offered a job and never told a word by the lady that hired me so now I dont work here at all. Probably for the better really
Always friendly and nice however I recommend going that you shop your locally owned thrift stores before going to Chinese big box stores. At thrift stores over the past few months, I have found new pair of $90 boots for $10.$140 shoes for $5 maybe worn once / no wear.Kenneth Cole folding toiletry bag for $5 never used.Nice vintage US made hand tools.Right there Ive saved about $300
The staff at this store should probably all get a raise. I went there today, Sunday afternoon, and it was loaded with people. The isles are a bit too close together, too. So, when staff are restocking an isle it creates a bottle neck that only one person can walk past at a time. They made sure people got through, though, and everyone was being efficient moving around. Self check out was full, with a few people in line, but the cashier was directing everybody really well. So, I never even stopped more than a second in line. I was worried it would take a long time with so many people there, but it was still a quick trip.
When you think this Walmart cant get much lower they adjust the standards bar again. It used to be an affordable place for bottled water, canned and dry foods and that was the best thing they had going. Every time Ive been in the past month at least a quarter of the shelves are bare. This last time almost no drinks, canned food or childrens over the counter medication.
Its a good Walmart with everything you might need.
It literally has everything you need at all, ever. The prices are really good & their are always sales. Best place to buy those staple clothing items that are needed. The employees are also pretty good at helping.

Walmart pretty much has any and everything you need. What they dont have on any given day is enough check out aisles open. Thats why they got the 3 out of 5.
I mean. It’s Walmart. What do you expect? This one is one of the more decrepit in the area, however.If you want to feel Walmart classy then go to the Holly Springs one. If you want to few better about yourself, then this one is it for you.
Late in the evening, I road the cart around to pick up storage bins. Customers treat you great, the store was 15 minutes left and I did self checkout. The employees lined up at register ready to go home, very nice. Quick easy shop, left out the one exit and returned the cart inside. This was a quiet and good experience tonight at Wal-Mart.
I checked in around 6pm for an oil change. At 6:40 (They close at 7pm), I was told they run out of oil filters and have to come back the next morning because delivery could be made at night. Either they have poor management who failed to check the inventories or bad employees who were eager to go home. Can you believe a shop in the business of oil change has no oil filters? I dont. If you have no more oil filters, why did you check me in? Their oil change rises 15% in price but their customer service goes downhill.
Always out of items needed, on back order or on the truck most times. Have had to visit other stores down the road because of this reason.... hate driving that far out to get items because my locally WM cant get it right.
Worst Walmart there is. They are always out of stock on the most basic items (water, eggs, milk, etc.)!! Their customer service personnel are completely lost and borderline rude. The items they do have in stock show up as “out of stock” in the app. Clear mismanagement across the board. We try to avoid this place and vo out of our way to go to the Holly Springs Walmart, much better experience there!
Getting in and out quickly was great. However, there were way too many missing products.
Shelves have been empty for the most part on my last two visits I have only been able to get half of what I went for. I have had to go to other grocery store and to finish my shopping. One Walmart employee used the overused phrase supply chain issue yet the other chain store I shopped was completely stocked. Very disappointing and dissatisfied.

Overall a Classic Walmart experience, except it was exceptionally cleaner and more organized than others Ive been in. There were nice, helpful staff around too.
Employees are extremely rude. Have wine with customers trying to go to the door to exit when three employees with full cart locked away and moves slowly down that aisle. Called about refund on previous purchase item price drop. Ill bring in the receipt in the item no problem drove 30 minutes to their store and would not refund the difference
Older store but has all the expected items in a Walmart. The parking lot could definitely need some love.
Resealed broken products. Sold as new, then refused to trade for new or give refund. Absolutely sickening. Will never return to this location aswell as highly advise against anyone else shopping here.
Location management needs to change attitude towards their employees. Employees are making your business look good or bad. People keep leaving or transferring to other locations due to management who treats employees like a child. Due to this they are always under staffed and of course this leaves store to vulnerabilities such as dirty store, empty and under stocked shelves.Problem is not with employees, problem is management. Its not that time of the century where you can bully your employee to see good results. I saw people leaving for less pay just because of toxic environment.

Ordered online for 2-3 PM window. Didn’t have any email about a delay. Didn’t have any order so I Called in at 6 PM to corporate who couldn’t reach the store and offered me express shipping and said it would be here within 2 hours. 3 hours go by and still nothing so I call into the store and get hung up on. Call Corporate again and cancelled sale. Do not order online from this store. One of the worst experiences I’ve had and wasted my whole day, and I have nothing to eat. The worst part is nobody could answer the phone and explain to me what the hell was going on.
Not really happy with the service my nephew and myself received their items that didnt have tags and nobody could help us I ask for a specific item that says Walmart has it for certain price and of course they cant help me . brought the same item to them as Im going to show in this picture and they had no idea how that came about even, though the cashier said he found the same thing. very very rude and the manager came over and just blew me off like it didnt even matter. didnt even ask if I wanted them to go look for another caller to price it I said oh well I guess I wont get this and he said okay you can throw it right there didnt even offer to find one or price it for me Ive had it with Fuquay Varina Walmart I do not think I will go back thats where the confusion is said it was three something and they would not offer honor at my sister-in-law got one the other day at that price because she told me to do a price match and she walked away with the same exact one I went there tonight and even the manager gave me a hard time
Just awful customer service. I waited 45 minutes for someone to simply answer a phone, when all I had was a simple question. If it were just that, I wouldnt even bother typing this. But it was not just that.After calling the electronics department, it rang for several minutes each time, before dumping you back into the phone tree, where it signals you to call again (and after two attempts, the phone call automatically disconnects on you, regardless of whether or not youve spoken to anyone. This happened to me 8 times. EIGHT. TIMES.Not a single person could be bothered to speak with me to answer one question that literally could be answered with one word and no research on their part. I dont think that was asking too much. I contacted Customer Service too, and it continued to ring and ring and ring. I have worked in customer service myself for many years, and it has always been my understanding that if a business doesnt have time to talk to their customers calling in, they have someone answer/acknowledge your customers, take down a number, etc. None of these things were done.I should clarify, actually. Two times during that nightmare of an experience with this store, the phone was answered by someone at Walmart. The first time was after 15 minutes of constant ringing in the Electronics Department (Weve all been in the store. Its very obvious when a customer is calling and everyone can hear it). Someone picked up the phone and then immediately hung up. I could hear the person struggling to find the receiver to hang up right after picking up the phone. I could hear the rattling of plastic on plastic.The last time, I finally got someone who answered (angrily, from the sound of his tone), did not acknowledge me when I tried to tell them what happened, and then responded with an attitude. All for a single question.If I could give this store 0/5 stars, I would. Would not shop again.

Very helpful employee. They did not have what I was looking for, but the lady in the womens clothing department went very much out of her way to help me. This Wal-Mart is much better than the ones near my home in Sanford. I would rather drive 30 mins than go there.
The aisle are always clogged with pallets and the shelves are are always bare. This issue is particularly bad in the grocery dept. To be fair I think the bigger issue is that Fuquay-Varina just doesnt have enough grocery stores to support the fast growing population, but knowing that doesnt make the shopping experience any less frustrating and unpleasant.
When we originally opened this store, it was great and well stocked and always clean and organized. Over the great many years that have come and gone, Ive moved away but frequent there sometime. I would rather not. Not a whole lot of the staff is friendly or even attentive. Alot of the time, they are out of about 3/4 of what I need and went there for in the first place. This store has NOT been updated in years. The bathroom in the front AND the back were both horrible!!! The counter of the sinks are gross, not to mention the floors. The toilet didnt flush! It smelled like death. The inside of the stall walls just were streaked with finger marks. Writing all over the walls. Just outright nasty.Clothing was on the floors, the spray paint department is a complete joke! Nothing in the correct place nor in stock. Paint all over the shelving. Not a single employee to be seen in that department. Employees on the sales floor scrolling through their phones talking about how this or that hairstyles are in right now. Dog food all over the floor from a bag the ripped. The sections at the registers were almost bare. I had to search 9 registers to find something in particular. I know of so many people that would love to have a job and be great at that job compairs. Corporate needs to see this store and how poorly run it is and how dirty and I stocked it is. Sad to say but true.

Drive past the Fuquay Walmart to either Holly Springs or Dunn. Poorly stocked shelves and a poor selection of of merchandise even when its on the shelf. I actually had to climb to the top of the racks twice today - once for bird feed, once in pet supplies - to get items when associates werent interested in helping.A subpar store, even by Walmart standards.

Frequently out of stock on items that I want. Almost never more than one or two cashiers on duty. Aisles crowded with pallets, employees stocking shelves, and filling online orders. I would not go there except their prices are good and the Great Value brand is usually pretty good quality.
Didnt have a large selection as some stores but its still much better than other stores Ive been to. Clean and taken care of.
The pharmacy staff has been and continues to be the best group of people to work with. they are always pleasant and work hard at displaying excellent customer service.

Even though this is a busy location my experience was pleasant. They have everything I need and more. The layout is different from what Im used to but Im very happy with the selection in the produce section.

This store has a serious problem with keeping items stocked. Once again most of my shopping list was unavailable. This has been an ongoing problem even before the pandemic. Sadly it is getting worse instead of better.
In general, Walmart is Walmart, but the Fuquay store doesnt really measure up to that. Clean and neat, but *always* poorly stocked, empty shelves - some have been empty for weeks (in the bird feeding aisle) and others have product, but only on the top, storage shelf, or pushed, forgotten all the way to the back. Womens clothes well stocked, mens, practically nothing - yards between racks and racks with only two or three items each, mostly all in the same size.You can say, Well, thats Walmart, but its not. The Holly Springs, Erwin, Clayton and Cary stores have all got full shelves and a much better selection. Points to poor store management. Too bad the FV store is the closest to home.

Went in the morning so it wasnt very busy. I was assisted promptly when I needed help finding an item. The store was clean, stocked, and organized. I highly suggest not coming here if you are in a hurry. I also suggest you pay attention to the cachiers while they are checking you our and bagging your groceries. The process confuses them. But they are the nicest cashiers around.

Store manager needs to be fired, having one register that takes cash with a line that goes to the back of the store is something a two year old child would do. I bet the store manager sits in the office eating chips all day and blaming employees for why theyre overweight and cant run a store.

Ive never had a poor experience at the F-V Walmart, which is unlike other Walmarts in the area.
It is hard deciding which is worse.. the lying trash that works IN the store or the lying trash at the Customer Service call center. I dont expect a lot from Walmart and they certainly have NO problem delivering NOTHING.

You guys need to learn how to show some respect for your customers.
Must employees are not interested in helping the customers, they would rather spend their time talking with other associates . When they are doing their preassigned task they ignore, and even avoid any customers.
Store employees at doors to insist customers wear masks. Masks are also available for customers without one. You see that carts are supposed to be sanitized (needs monitoring). Would suggest that they sanitize self check-out stations more often or after each user.

Some of the aisles smelt very badly, like something spilt and got under the racks and never cleaned. Its my first Walmart with security gates at the entrance......welcome to Walmart!

Very disappointed. Having spent a month in hospital I was unable to find an electric cart. When asking for help finding distilled water the employee muttered something went to the back of the store and never returned.
Their pick up service is fabulous, and its free. I love making my order online and just go pick it up. Saves so much time . I would say 97% of the time everything I order is available. The employees that pack your car are very polite and careful, they even checked your eggs before they put them in your car. I had one cracked egg, and they went and got me another dozen.

Customer service is terrible. The self checkout registers are always dirty. I had one employee offer to help out of 20 associates I came in contact with.
I did rate this a 1 star a year ago. I now give it 5 star. You can see the improvement in both inventory and STAFF!
