Been getting my furniture from Wood You the last 10 years and it’ll probably last the next 100 years. There’s no particle board garbage here...just solid wood. It’s not just the furniture quality either, customer service is beyond amazing and they do everything they can to help in your decision making on stains if you choose to do it yourself. Stop buying furniture that lasts 2 years, it’ll cost you more in the long run.

When I found this store a few years ago I was so excited. I had a custom table for 8 made and ordered all new bedroom furniture from them. Everything went perfect. I wish I could say that this trend continued but sadly it did not. I ordered another table and chairs for my breakfast nook this time that seats five. At that time I also ordered a side table. Ordering was the easy part and everything went downhill from there. When it was time to deliver my new table and side table the pedestal was not properly secured and broke. I understood that accidents happen so no big deal. However, we had discussed having the table skirt cut shorter since my family and I are so tall. This was never done. Also, we wanted the same gel finish that we have on our other table but it was not. During this time of trying to get the table correct I ordered an armoire. While waiting on the armoire to arrive we had the table picked up and dropped off about three times. Eventually, the owner refinished the table to ensure it was the gloss finish and not matte that we kept getting. In the time frame of trying to get it correct the side table came back with one of the drawers all scratched up (see pic below) as well as the finish applied on the table is now bubbling up (see pic) and there are spots the finish didnt take (see pic). When they came to deliver my armoire the dowel rod was too long to fit and the drawer gliders were not the upgraded ones I paid for. At this point I was done. I requested a refund as I couldnt seem to understand why no one was checking to make sure the orders were right ALL the times that they came back to me. The delivery boy also wiped dog poop on my sidewalk and asked me after if that was ok. To which I replied its too late now you already did it. Apparently he didnt wipe it off good enough on our sidewalk so he scraped his shoe on our slate steps when I wasnt looking. I found this beautiful discovery after they had left. I am sad to say that I will never recommend this store or shop there ever again. They have beautiful items for sale but no one seems to care if they are correct before they bring them to your house. They cannot even seem to get it right the second or third time around either.

We recently bought a new house and wanted a new dining room table, chairs, and buffet/console as our last table/chairs was 15 years old from the last house that we bought. We decided to check Wood You out based on recommendations from locals we knew, and boy are we glad we did. It is a very unassuming looking business from the outside, in an older area of Gainesville off Main Street. Once you enter though, there is a huge showroom with tons of options for all types of custom, high quality wood furniture. The main gentleman we dealt with was knowledgeable, patient in answering all of our questions, and worked us a good deal for a farmhouse style dining table, 6 chairs stained to match the table, and a matching buffet/console. There was a delay in getting it made, stained, and delivered due to COVID19, but that was not the fault of the business. The furniture was delivered today and it is AWESOME. I cannot recommend this place more highly. Great service, awesome quality, and fair prices for the quality of REAL WOOD furniture they make. This is not the cookie cutter Ashley Furniture particle board stuff you are used to, this is real deal solid wood furniture that will last generations.

The total price for the mattress, bed,delivery and all was great. The staff is amazing so helpful and friendly and the quality of the furniture lasts a very long time. Will come back for more when we buy our first home

Wood You is my wifes and I favorite furniture store in Gainesville. Ive been shopping here for over 10 years. I love it because they have a record of every purchase I and my wife have made. They know exactly which pieces will fit with our existing collection and what we used to finish them.I originally finished everything we purchased but lately Ive been letting their local guy do it. Im very impressed with the quality. The price isnt too bad either. I believe we save a considerable amount over some of the chain furniture places AND what we get is all real wood, no MDF here!

Quality control is absolutely horrible nobody knows whats going on with peace that you order. Not impressed At All by the finished product dropping $3, 000 on a two leaf table, 8 chairs, in three stools. They delivered to table that had a 5 inch crack so call them to handle it they didnt give us any issues but then its just a huge waiting game all over again. Nobody calls you you have to hunt these people down so they can find out what the hells going on with your furniture. I dont recommend this company to anybody whos looking for furniture I rather just go through Ashleys Furniture because when I order from Ashleys Furniture I was happy with the product because I got to see it in the store what it would look like they delivered it in time no hassles.

We had a mid-century modern media center custom made here. TJ and Andres went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect, including in-home installation! The piece is great and we would definitely get another custom piece from here.

Five stars for sure!! We had a very positive experience buying furniture.Staff (TJ and Julie are who we worked with) were very knowledgeable,and helpful. Julies on-target suggestions enabled us to put together office components that created the working space my husband hoped for. T.J. offered great assistance as I explored various options for having a bed in the office space that could be tucked away when not in use. Hunter & Philip delivered and installed everything efficiently. We are very pleased!

This app has incorrect dates because I visited today, not yesterday. I Love this place, today, everyone was so kind and concerned about my wood issue.

We had a problem with a chair that we purchased from Wood You over 10 years ago. It had cracked and needed to be repaired or replaced. TJ is the guy we almost always work with at the store and he immediatly suggested an excellent solution. As always, I am very impressed with the quality of the furniture and TJs willingness to find workable solutions. We have purchased most of our living room, bedroom and dining room pieces from this store and truly suggest that others will be happy with their purchases. Solid wood is the best way to go in humid places like Gainesville, never press board. You get what you pay for!... .

Let me remind you, i called the manufacturer of myself and was told Wood you did not even place our order until april 11, no wonder it took so long. They sat on this order for 3 weeks until actually placing it.

Solid wood but expensive, even for the cheaper wood. Any kind of finishing costs quite alot in addition to furniture.
