First time buying furniture from here. We shopped 5 different places looking for recliners. Of course, Big Lots had great prices. We are happy with the quality. Bought the rocker recliner from the 13th Street store. Wade, the sales associate, was really busy but he did not rush and was very patient and helpful. We bought the snuggler recliner from the Lake City store. Easy to put together. Fit into my SUV with no problem. We are replacing the sofa with recliners...good idea. Thanks Big Lots.

I love Big Lots selection for sheet sets. Their thread count goes up to 1200...and their fitted sheets are about 15 in depth. I also love their large variety of sheers and drapes. As well as their comforters and bedspreads. Friendly staff and always accommodating makes Big Lots feel like a welcoming environment.

Cassandra and Wazim where excellent assistance they both were very knowledgeable and helpful. They even made me laugh. I purchased a Sealy mattress very pleased with the quality and the price. I highly recommend this store everyone has great hospitality and the management encourages his team. This store has so much to select from.

Variety Store with deals on every aisle. Good assortment of furniture too.

Hoping to find great sales as the advertisements say. Well it felt like a bargain basement thrift store. Dry goods and well lets just say everything so we dont miss anything, all were damaged, some boxes water soiled ... Well it was distressing. Store needed attention as it was unkempt. Overall experience was a bomb. Truly hope this helps someone in deciding to shop or pass.

They have a lot of cool things. They dont always have the latest things,but they have nice stuff like home furnishings and stuff like that. Fair prices and ok customer service.

We always have a good experience in this store. They always greet us and ask if we need any help. I can never get out of Big Lots without finding some kind of deal that I didnt come in for. Once, my hands were so full that the salesperson emptied my arms, carried all the goods to the front, and brought it all back in a shopping cart so I could continue shopping. A good location with nice prices and great employees!

Horrible furniture and warranty. Bought a sofa less than 2 years ago. You sit in it and sink almost to the floor in one spot. Tried to make 3 different claims, all have been denied. They say its normal wear and tear. Ive tried to speak to a manager several times. Not once have I been able to. Do yourself a favor and dont spend your money on furniture here.

Cut rate items from furniture to bed linen. It’s always fun to save $$$ there. Take 30 minutes just to walk thru and you’ll fine something you need. I especially like the bed linen (1200 count sheets at a great price) and the small grocery isle they have.

Had never been to a big lots before this. It is like a cheaper version of Target. I thought there were some good deals though. Household items seem to be what I would buy there. I would avoid the food unless youre looking for snacks, its all processed food that can sit for a while. Staff was friendly and ample parking.

Very nice and clean store. Things are well organized easy to find what you are looking for. Quite and nice shopping experience. Plenty of parking. Friendly staff. The only downside is that there are no carts to ride for older people, they only have a wheelchair.

Big Lots is our go to store for alot of stuff. Their towels are soft and fluffy and stay that way and hold up to many washings. Their prices are great all year round and Ill be purchasing my next bed from them just because of their friendly and attentive staff at this location.

While you can find almost anything you want at great prices and the employees are friendly and helpful, there is a downside. There is handicapped parking outside, but there are no handicap carts inside.

Manager was short with me . He doesnt care about the customers at all is what I was told. He rudely walked away while myself and a new employee tried to ask him about store policy. A little caring could have totally changed the situation.

I went in to pick up a few items for my new condo. Prices were pretty good:-). But the best thing about my experience there was Cassandra, she was very very helpful. Then when I got home and tried to build my kitchen cart I found that I had put part of it together incorrectly. I called over and spoke to Cassandra because she had been so helpful. She told me to come on back to the store and she would help me get it fixed. So grateful she really did help me get it corrected and I am very happy with my purchase now. That is some of the best customer service I have seen in a very very long time. Thanks so much Cassandra Big Lots is very lucky to have you as an employee!

Very disappointed in the recent removal of all cleaning supplies in this store location. I was on their website with this store location and was able to find cleaning supplies. But after walking the isles where I knew the cleaning supplies to be, I was unable to locate them. Finally I asked a store employee who was stocking the shelves in the paper towels isle. I asked her Maam do yall not sell cleaning supplies any longer? Her reply without even looking at me was, Nope. So I had only came in there to pick up some dish detergent. While walking through the store I did pick up a cpl of on a whim Items. When she said Nope to me, I said well I guess Im not buying any of this stuff either. So I left the shopping cart right there and drove down to the Dollar General, where I got Dish soap and the on a whim things at that location.

Theres a lot of stuff without the price, gets frustrating, otherwise its a good place to save some bucks.

My friend asked me if Im going to go to Big Lots they were having another 20% off sale plus I remember anyway and you get discounts. Needless to say I bought a whole lot of stuff as the prices are awesome. The waiting in line was very quick inefficient and theres always someone there to say good morning or good afternoon welcome to Lots

I like that there inventory is always changing. I have found so many unique items here for gifts, as well as international food items such as jams and teas. They have the best deals for the Krupp single serve coffee. Box of 42 cups is $15.00!

Nice store. Clean and mostly organized. The staff was friendly.You know those Pinterest pins, A million ways to organize your house with stuff from the dollar store. Dollar stores dont really have that stuff. I know because I went to a bunch of them today. After a while, I gave up and went to Big Lots. And they had the stuff I wanted. I paid more than a dollar, but I got everything I needed in one place. Worth it.

Dont go often enough but its decent

Some of the products are good. But the prices are higher, than youd expect. The merchandise looked like the kind of stuff youd see in the dollar store, but three times as much! 💰💰! The lady that served me, wish Id gotten her name. Looked completely stressed out!! As though she was despising every moment of her job!! 🤨 I get it!! I worked in retail. And barely lasted, a month. Hated literally every minute of it. I get it!! 🙄 but the customer, shouldnt be able to tell that you despise what youre doing!! 😁 you literally have to grin and bare it!!

I could spend all day in this store! Huge variety of food products and cleaning supplies. Big assortment of other items as well including furniture. I bought a nice pair of old style headphones. Usually only one person to check you out and minimal staff. I like it!

Didnt have Bluetooth cat charger

We wanted to lease to own a kitchen cart and a beautiful gazebo for the memorial day sales! I was pre-approved on line. 1st I approached John who seemed very busy but stop what he was doing to help me. I told him I could wait and he was so nice and said no problem! He got our 2 big items and was starting to help me when Cassandra came over she had just finished with a customer and jumped right in to give john a hand because he dropped what he was doing to help me! I liked John he was great, but I love Cassandra, what a lady! She was so kind and helpful and then helped my husband load 2 very very heavy things into a tiny car! Im so impressed with this young woman! Shes kind, very helpful, and patient!! What great employees Gainesville big lots has!!

Some of the price tags are a little high for a discount store...Check around other stores first for the going rate. The staff was very helpful and friendly here though.

The store is looking better and better

Big Lots has some staple items it carries and for most of their merchandise it is a temporary offering as supplies last. Bargains in most cases, several times a year they post 20% discount coupons for Reward Members and that is when I stock up.

Great finds and even better customer service!

A lot of their shelves seem kinda empty. I have not seen Clorox wipes in over 12 weeks. Not the same shopping experience as before.
