Especially for women is a fantastic local shop in Gainesville owned by registered nurse Rita. Whether you are pregnant and expecting, in need of post surgical garments, compression stockings, or a surviver of breast cancer in need of specialty items and wigs- Especially for Women has what you need. Rita is incredibly patient and kind and listens to your personal needs.*some insurances are accepted which is a bonus.

Super helpful, experienced women helping other women when they really need it. Cant say enough good things about this place. 7 years ago when I was going through chemo, they help me select an ordered for me the perfect wig. I never had so many positive comments about my hair as I did during the time I wore that wig. They make ordering mastectomy bras and prostheses, and breastfeeding gear super easy, by working well with insurance companies and the doctors offices. They are also very supportive of breast cancer fundraising and awareness raising events in the community. Rita and Kathy are wonderful and run a wonderful shop that makes a big difference!

They really care about their customers. She really took the time to ensure proper fit of my sleeve and prosthetic garments. Would definitely recommend this place for all breast cancer patients.

My OB recommended this place for a maternity support belt and Im so happy I went! The ladies were VERY helpful and honest with their advice and showed me how to wear the band+ gave tips. Its a little hard to find, 2nd floor in the oaks shopping plaza, across the oaks Mall.

Extremely helpful and willing to work with any time constraints you may have

I went there to purchase a compression sleeve to find out they no longer accepted insurance. Prior to going there I called them and was told I needed prescription from my doctor for sleeve.I purchased the sleeve for $85 (first time I have ever paid for a sleeve since surviving breast cancer. As I the store I googled the sleeve and found that I had been charged $30 more than the cost I found on Amazon. Needless to say I went back, returned their overpriced sleeve and will never step in Especially for Women again. I would give them a zero if it was possible.

Good place but rather hard to shop there if they aren’t open on Saturday.
