I came here for a state inspection as I moved recently to MD. I saw they had good reviews and took appointments so I booked one, and it was great! Took less than an hour and Amir was very friendly. If I have car troubles in the future I will be back!

We needed to have the Maryland State Inspections performed for our vehicle registration renewals (new residents). Inspection Plus was one of the only places we found that accepted appointments - everyone else wanted our car for the entire day. Inspection plus was easy to schedule apt online, service was provided ON TIME, interacted with Amir who was friendly, professional and great! Would gladly recommend this shop to friends and family.

I COULD NOT BE MORE GRATEFUL TO HAVE FOUND THEM. I had a horrible experience at the MVA and called here to get my inspection done. They could not have been nicer after I got there I realized they can handle Tags & Title. I asked and they took care of it all after my inspection. Very kind people and I am so happy to have found their shop!

It was a great pleasure to meet Amir and their team. I visited for Car inspection, They were exactly on time and extra helpful letting me know all procedures regarding MVA & Registration as I’m new in the State. We also had time to chit chat and I will definitely bring my Mercedes E Series for regular service when my factory warranty ends up. Highly recommend !!

Horrible! The said inspection would take one hour. They said they would call when it’s ready. We went on foot to get breakfast and came back almost 2 hours later. No call! Go into the establishment and the mechanic is saying “oh your here I thought you went home.” “I said no we went to get food.” Regardless an hour is an hour. It’s two hours since drop and he hadn’t even begun the inspection. Never again! He took all the other appointments ahead of me. I had an 11:00 appointment and it’s no 1:00 and I’m stuck here

Did a walk in without an appointment and Amir was able to do a state inspection in less than an hour. After finding out my car needed some electrical work (2003 Infiniti G35), he gave me a reasonable quote and completed service the next day. He even waited for me to pick up my vehicle after work hours. My rear tires needed to be replaced, but I went to a local tire shop to get them replaced and had it re-inspected for free. Dont expect to have amazing tires put on if you have it done here and then complain about the quality. This shop is a stop for your mechanical and electrical needs on a car, if you need tires there are other places for those.

I highly recommend this place, I have been a customer for several years. Very reasonable price and most importantly very honest, knowledgeable staff.It’s really hard to find a good mechanic now a days. The shop is quite a drive from my house but its definitely worth the drive considering the price I save compare to dealership.

All the people on this place is very honest! If youre looking for honest inspection this is the place to go. If your car failed for inspection you shouldnt be upset and I can guarantee what they tell you to fix will be for your own safety. They will not force you to fix the car problem on their shop, you can fix it your self or somewhere you want. The price is very reasonable as well.

Got a safety inspection here and the lady at the front desk was super friendly. Waiting area was clean and I did not have to wait long. I recommend.

I recently decided to sell my old Jeep, and ended up finding a buyer through an acquaintance. I decided to get it inspected so there would be no issues with the sale. I came here as a walk in pretty late in the day, and they were able to squeeze me in for the inspection while I waited. They found a couple of pretty minor things, so I took care of them and then brought it back for re-inspection. They were thorough and did everything in a timely fashion. They were very friendly, and I could tell by listing to them talk to other customers while I waited that they were treating everyone very fair. Ill be trusting them not only for inspections, but as my primary mechanic going forward.

I liked the guidance offered.

This place was great!! On 12/22/18 they performed the MD state inspection on my mini van that I bought out of state. A couple of minor issues were discovered and corrected at a reasonable price and very quickly. I noticed they had a sign for vehicle registration while I was waiting. I ended up getting my vehicle registered and the plates here too instead of going to the MVA which saved a lot of time. From start to finish they were superb! I highly recommend!!

Amazing service, great ppl. I called to take my car for state inspection and they were super accommodating, the price was amazing compare to anywhere else and on top of that they were able to issue me the sticker for my car’s registration which saved me so much time and hassle to go MVA to get my car’s sticker. The owner was a genuine kind man who was professional and super honest (not like other places I’ve experienced before )and my experience here was smooth, amazing and the service was quick. I highly recommend this place, they are super trustworthy.

Disappointing, they totally took advantage of us. Conveniently we were told that our car would not pass inspection with the current tires. Which as you can see below were totally fine (probably another 10k miles). We had to pay $800 for mediocre new tires, all they had -- otherwise they would not pass us. Avoid this place -- they are not honest.

Best mechanics ever! Ive been a loyal customer for some time. These folks have never failed to impress me. The main mechanic (Amir, I believe) is a very friendly and honest man. The prices are very competitive and turnaround time is super quick! If you call for an appointment, youll always be in and out ASAP! Theyve got a very large shop that has all sorts of equipment. They pretty much do everything from inspections, alignments, repairs, maintenance, etc. I highly suggest you check this place out!

Took it in for inspection, they were fast and had reasonable cost. First time using them, will be back.

They increased my bill by more than double the original price, without confirming or even informing me first. When I came in to pick my car up they refused to give me the keys and said they were keeping it until I agreed to pay their hidden, unagreed increaseI said thats illegal, they said nope and, I kid you not, called the police on speaker phone. The officer (who THEY called) informed them they were breaking the law. They returned my keys and never apologized

Will not take my car ever again. Charged me $34 to mount one tire. For a half an hour job i paid $166 where other place charge close to $100 . He was rude when i asked to lower the price he was asking and had to get the work done there to avoid the $30 reinspection fee. Also they used a different oil in my car which is not recommended. Will have to take it to a different shop since they used the wrong engine oil.

Its hard to trust auto mechanics. They tell you all sorts of things are wrong and in most cases you just have to take their word for it.Thats definitely not the case with Inspection Plus. I have never patronised a more honest business. I have been taking my car to Inspection Plus for years. First was my 2005 Audi A6 and now my 2012 Mercedes CLS 550. These guys are professionals. They dont try to rip you off or force you into repairs that are not absolutely necessary.I cant speak for other customers but I have been taken good care of by Amir and his team. They are definitely more affordable than the dealers who have ripped me off on several occasions.Just last month I got an unexpected check engine light and mercedes told me my camshaft position sensor had leaked oil into the engine harness. a $6000 job that was of no fault of mine but due to defective parts. In fact mercedes have had recalls for the same problem plaguing a wide range of their vehicles up until the 2011 model. They refused to budge so i went to Amir and explained the situation. Amir had my car for about a week, doing a thorough investigation with the sole purpose of getting me back on the road at a fraction of the cost. He succeeded. It cost me just $600 with Amir. He replaced the camshaft sensors and cleaned out the engine harness. Any other mechanic may have tried to take advantage and use scare tactics just like mercedes.There was one time i went to pick up my car and they had greased my door hinges because they were squeaking. Its the little things that go a very long way. I will always use Inspection Plus. I highly recommend Inspection Plus for their Honesty and work ethic and customer satisfaction

I came here because inspection was in the name, hoping for superior inspection service. After the first inspection and making proper maintenance on my car, I scheduled for a reinspection before my reinspection time limit expired, but because their inspector would not be back in town before 2 weeks (after my reinspection expired), they would not give me the discounted $30 reinspection fee. Instead they offered me a laughable $10 discount off a new $89 initial inspection. 1 star for wasting my time and money. Call me back with the proper reinspection fee or a reimbursement and I will gladly change my review.
