I have been a patient of Dr. Naseh for many years and receive the best of care and attention from the doctor and all members of his staff. You are greeted politely and respectfully and they take the time to explain any procedure to assure your comfort. One is never hurried, so if you have to wait a while, be assured you will receive that same courteous care. It is a pleasure visiting the office which is light, clean and airy.
The staff is very professional and bilingual, which is a plus and helpful for many patients. This office is very, very busy, so be prepared for delay in services. However, each staff member is very nice and they are doing their best to keep appointments on time. My mother was very happy with the services because they were very patient with elderly patients, plus both physicians were very nice as well and took the time to examine her. Defined recommended to anyone who is diagnosed with cataract or glaucoma.
We brought my son in for an eye exam and new glasses. The meetings with the doctor and assistants for the exam were thorough and seemed really good. I would give them 5 stars! Unfortunately, when we went to choose glasses, the woman who helped us knew absolutely nothing. She saw the glasses we had with us, and we discussed my sons needs with sports and the like. She offered nothing. Every question she fielded to the young man who was with another customer, whether it had to do with insurance or frames. Maybe it was her first 10 minutes on the job, but she clearly had no training. After showing us what we didnt want for a while, the man directed us to EXACTLY what we wanted. I ordered these and asked if we could get them quickly, as my sons old lenses were repeatedly falling out of the frames. Again, the man helped us, and i thought wed ordered the glasses and would be getting them Wednesday. Unfortunately, today (monday) i received a call asking if we knew that our insurance wouldnt pay for it and did we still want them. We had covered all of that when I was in the shop, and now the glasses would be delayed. I might consider going elsewhere next time, but they said they would charge us $50 to get a copy of our prescription, which seems a bit unethical to me! The Glasses department gets no stars from me.
Dr. Naseh is an exceptionally good doctor. He is very knowledgeable and caring. He treats you as if you are the only patient he has. Over the years I have been going to him, I have never left the office unhappy with the service I received. He always takes the time to talk with me regarding the issues I have with my eyes--I never feel rushed. I also feel very comfortable with all his support people. We are so fortunate to have such excellent care!!
Very disappointed.I made an appointment with a specific doctor due to my language. Another doctor showed up in my room and told me that she was going to check my eyes instead of the doctor I booked. I was in shock because I didnt understand why.My doctor was there in the other room with another patient, I could wait. They dont have any right to change the doctor I booked without any consent. If they do, they should told before when I came into the clinic (in case I want to reschedule ) and not after all the test and with my eyes dilated. At the end of the study and after two hours and a half, because they were late, I asked for my prescription and they told me that I had to pay 50 more dollars because that was the new policy.I paid my copay and my insurance will pay the rest, why I need to pay to print a paper with the results of my study? What is the point to do an eye study if they dont give you your prescription? At the end they gave me the prescription printed because of the doctor change but I cancelled my next appointment.
My exam went very well. The staff is highly trained and efficient. I recommend them to all those in need of eye care.
I recently went to the Maryland Eye Institute for the first time and I was very please and impressed. The staff was so pleasant and knowledgeable and my exam was the most thorough eye exam I have ever had. I wish I had known about them sooner but will continue to go to them now.
I was treated with respect, good care, and a thorough eye exam. The staff was kind and informative throughout the whole process, I would definitely refer my loved ones to here for their eyecare.
Dr. Naseh is a wonderful doctor and I am very happy with him! I needed to have a crucial and difficult operation done and he did a great job. He is extremely knowledgeable and professional, but he is also very patient, comforting, caring, and always does a great job explaining everything so that I understand. His entire staff has always been well accommodating and kind, as well! Their office meets my highest expectations and beyond!
I have been seeing Dr. Farhad Naseh of the Maryland Eye Institute for my eye exam for a number of years. He has good bedside manner. I found out in my latest visit this month (October, 2021) that the office is charging a processing fee for payment with credit card. Nowadays, credit card is the most common form of payment and people dont carry much cash around. Personally, I dont think this is a good practice to charge customer processing fee for payment with credit card. Credit card payment is supposed to be a convenience for both the merchant and customer. With cash/check payments, merchant has to make a trip to their bank to make a deposit. A check from a customer may be bounced/dishonored, causing time and labor costs to the merchant to get the issue resolved. I hope Maryland Eye Institute would reconsider their recent policy change for the convenience of everyone.
I did not wait too long for my appointment. Probably within 10-15 minutes. The staff members were friendly and professionalOf course Dr Naseh is the best!
I called for an appointment because of ongoing irritation in one eye and was seen the same afternoon by Dr. Elena. She quickly diagnosed my problem as a wayward eyelash that was irritating my eye with every blink. She removed it and I was cured. Thank you for solving my problem quickly and efficiently.
Im Robert Waters and I give the whole experience 5 stars, every person who I dealt with was so professional and Nice, and Dr. Naseh was just like always, professional, nice, good sense of humor, just made me feel like I was in great hands. The whole staff was like that.
I liked the office atmosphere and professionalism of the staff . I saw Dr. Hammer and I was pleased with my visit.
Ms. Marjan Nassiri was very professional and friendly person, 5 Star lady 👍
Thank you for your great service, i dd not have to wait long to be received by the Doctor. The front desk personnel and the nurses were very efficient and professional. I would gladly recommend Maryland Eye Institute to friends and family. When I have a question I get a quick and helpful answer, by phone or in person. Its been a great experience. Although any part of the human body is important, I am satisfied that my eye issue was handled by a team of people who know their job. I was able to go to my appointments with peace of mind knowing I would get the best service.
The staff is very professional. This office is very, very busy, so be prepared for some delay in services. My mother was very happy with Dr. Naseh Laser Iridotomy (right eye). She is ready to do her left eye as well. Alhamod Allah it went well. Thank you Dr. Naseh. I strongly recommend MEI to anyone who is diagnosed with cataract or glaucoma.
Great experience. Efficient and knowledgeable staff. Very professional.
Honestly, I love this place and I’m still coming here even though I’ve moved an hour away. They have great customer service and a team of qualified and caring staff...Unfortunately 4 stars because they are terrible with the phones (I guess that’s the downside of having such attentive in person staff). I always have to wait at least half an hour until I can speak to someone... I hope they will hire more people to help with the calls.
Thank you for your great service, i did not have to wait long to be received by the Doctor. The front desk personnel and the nurses were very efficient and professional. I would gladly recommend Maryland Eye Institute to friends and family.
Professional and friendly back office staff with highly energetic, efficient and courteous Dr Naseh. Always happy with the service I get.
Dr. Naseh and his staff are always very kind, patient, professional and full of empathy. They make me feel very special whenever I go there or call them on the phone. They explain every treatment and reassure me always, thereby giving me confidence and peace of mind! They are highly recommended!
The staff are very polite and helpful .the place is very clean. I Do miss Doctor Naseh smile he always have a great smile.. But overall I like the office.. I actually miss my appointment, and I showed up the day after you to memory problems, But they were able to schedule me the next day and I was happy when I got Seen. New staff. But still good.. Plenty parking .☺.
Ive been coming to the Maryland Eye Institute and Dr. Naseh for over 15 years - the staff is always friendly, knowledgeable and professional, while the equipment gets more and more state-of-the-art over the years. Dr. Naseh always remembers my concerns and conversations weve had in the past - and I KNOW Im going to get a good prescription with my medical eye examination. And its a one-stop shop with very nice frames from which to choose - all in a well-appointed office environment thats cleaned well for COVID and gives lots of space for distancing patients with maximum comfort. Ill keep going and recommending Maryland Eye Institute to my family and friends.
I was so please with the attention I got at my appointment last Tuesday. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. And I am so happy that is near to my home address and there is a nice parking lot. thank you for taking care of me. Irma
Professional staff and very helpful, Dr Shayma was great, took the time to examine my eyes and was great explaining and assuring me .Thank you
I was this Thursday in my appointment with Dr Gupta and she and the other staff are very professional and care about me. Im very happy with all of you. Recomend this office 100%.
Excellent professionalism while maintaining human concern and compassion. From initial check-in throughout the eye exam process and follow-up the Maryland Eye Institute is in a class of its own. Always a client receiving top notch health care!
My wife and I have been going to the Maryland Eye Institute for many years, and we could not be more satisfied with the service and care we have received, our eyes are bubbling with excitement.Drs. Tavassoli, Mendez, Elera, Jawad with the thoughtful leadership provided by Dr. Naseh, all carry out their work responsibilities with expertise, experience and care. Thoroughness is how they roll.Excellent professionalism is maintained throughout the Institute, from initial check-in (with normal, expected wait time) throughout the eye exam process and follow-up. Technicians, desk staff, nurses, all are friendly, efficient and knowledgeable, continually showing empathy, kindness, and patience; and that includes on phone calls.Treatments are well explained, with reassurance given; this gives me confidence and peace of mind upon leaving and thereafter. The equipment is constantly upgraded, state-of-the-art.
This place is way busy, But the wait is not to long and the staff is great! Not one of the 7 people I was working with were under a 9 star. All very nice and explain what is up etc. I think I found the place for me!
I have always had nothing less than a great experience when seen by the staff and Doctors there.
I received a thorough evaluation of my eyes and my vision. This is one of the most professional physicians offices that I have been served by!
I have been using the services of Maryland Eye Institute for a number of years. The staff who I interacted with were friendly and professional. I did not have a wait time and was seen at my appointment time. The exam, as always, was very thorough. I felt very confident in the service I received.
Great place great doctors take really good care of you
I am a longtime patient of Dr. Naseh. He has helped me negotiate cataracts and much else with great result. The staff there is so knowledgeable, pleasant and really helpful. I wouldnt go anywhere else.
In the waiting room for an hour or more despite scheduled appointments on 2 occassions, phone calls not returned, and messages not answered.
Front desk people not friendly at all. Make you feel like you are bothering them when you check in. I was given the wrong contact lense so had to go for additional appointment- they told me to come at 12:00, when I arrived I heard them tell others that the doctor was at lunch until 1:00 so I waited over an hour. I don’t understand why they give appointment at a time they know dr will not be there or how dr goes to lunch knowing patient is scheduled 🤷🏼♀️But the dr herself was pleasant, professional and helped me with my vision problems.
Extremely professional, polite, helpful and knowledgeable. I highly recommend them.
Had an appointment at 1:30, wasn’t attended to or even admitted in the back until 2:11. Eye Doctor was real nice and staff helped during regular eye exams.
Very good establishment. People are friendly and professional. My cataract surgery was excellently performed with great results.
Always very professional, courteous and friendly. These folks are top notch.
I moved to Baltimore 2 1/2 years ago but I still travel to Gaithersburg to the Eye Institute. I like it there. I was kinda upset this time I went because they no longer accept my optical inc. Therefore I have to find somewhere else to get glasses. I would prefer to do it all in the same place but what can I do. I must continue to see the doctor because I have glaucoma.
The staff very professional and courteous.
My appointment was on Thursday 1/14. Prior to my appointment, I received a confirm appt. via phone text and email. The offices process is very efficient! I arrived yesterday on time, and was asked to wait in my car to be seen, as client capacity in waiting room was full. I only had to wait in my car for 5 minutes before I was called to come back in! :) The comprehensive eye exam was so well organized, and the technicians were very polite and helpful. The front desk staff is always friendly. I had a good consultation with Dr. Naseh, who answered all of my questions. The optical team is great, too! I chose to hold on to my prescription and have it filled at a later date (such as May/June), when general medical offices protocol should hopefully be back to normal. So my experience was very good, as has been my prior visits since Ive been going to Maryland Eye Institute (Jan 2019).
Dr. Naseh is very caring and provides exceptional service to his patients. Highly recommended.
Able to wait in my car until staff ready to begin my exam. Thorough, efficient, courteous technicians who answered my questions.
I had an appointment with a different doctor and she was not availabke today. So doctor Farhad Naseh saw me. He was the rudest doctor I have worked with so far. So patient compassion and he was not professional. He said quote on quote he is not responsible for finding out my lab results I was not told how to get my results.with my primary care physician I get the results at the office,. So if I was not told how to get it how will I know. I will I could give this place a zero rating for bad consumer services. You need us and so do we need you. Please be professional and leave your problems at home thank you. If you were not comfortable working with me you had an option not to.,So disappointed.
Appointment was at 2:15, at 3:00, saw technicians for testing, sat in lobby and waited to see doctor, saw doctor at 4:30. Could not order glasses until next because they closed at 5:00. The staff is great, but they were overbooked and only had 1 or 2 Doctors. I dont plan on going back.
The doctors and technicians were very professional and knowledgeable. I was highly impressed with how many precautions they are taking. Each room was disinfected before every patient. I was concerned about going to get my eye exam and glasses but ended up leaving with two pairs prescription glasses. The optician has a tray to put all the ones I tried on. She cleaned each one before returning them to the wall display. I would highly recommend them.
I wanted to share my great experience at Maryland Eye Institute. I had an appointment with Dr. Tavassoli, and she was extremely caring and professional. I am 100% satisfied and strongly recommend this institute and Dr. Tavassoli.
My daughter and I have been going to Maryland Eye Institute, for over 7 years now. Throughout all these years, weve always been given the best and proper care.
Efficient, thorough, courteous and considerate. First, they adhere very well to all Covid protocols, The exam is something that leaves you confident that your eyes are being well cared for. Dr. Naseh is very competent. A practice you can trust.
Very efficient, friendly and professional. I recommend them highly.
This time my wife and I did not have to wait too long like last time. My doctors skill is much better than the one in Baltimore.
The staff is always professional and Ive trusted Dr. Naseh with my eye car for several years.
Waited an hour to see the doctor. Was expecting a whitegown but was greeted by a person in sweat pants and a hoody, very professional. After telling the doctor about my issues she recommend that I go see another eye doctor because she couldnt help me. I wondered why she would advise to go to another eye specialist when she did claim that she was an ophthalmologist but I digress. So I did and going to the myeyedr in the Kentlands was the best decision I have ever made! I would never come back here again.
I give it a three stars, everything went very smooth except when I waited to see the doctor. I waited a long time and the actual doctor seemed rushed and was not helpful.
My appointment this past week with Dr. Tavassoli was very nice as always. She is a terrific person, very professional and knowledgeble. This practice started many years ago by Dr. Naseh is high-tech and expert in everyway. I have been their patient for nearly two decades now.
I love the Drs. and technicians, the only bad experience i had was with the optical department. They gave a wrong prescription and of course the glasses with that prescription. I call them back because i wanted to make sure my glasses were with the right prescription she affirm was the right prescription on ny glasses. I came to an appointment and asked them to check my glasses were with the right prescription they told me was way beyond the number i had. So they had to fix it. Just to confirm that i wont have to pay extra bc was their mistake took a while to get on hold of the optical staff member, finally when she confirmed i will get my lenses replace. She told me ill give you a call back when they are ready, usually takes a week. It has been more than 2 weeks and no call from them. I called to check the status of my lenses she told me oh yeah they have been here and little rude. Why no one let me know ?? Well i said overall i like the drs and their technicians. Not the optical department!
I was recently here for my routine 6 month visit. Ive gone twice during the pandemic and each time I feel safe because they are taking the proper covid precautions. Dr. Naseh is very knowledgeable and I will return to him to have my surgery once the pandemic settles a bit more. Thank you Dr. Naseh for your care.
Professional service all around
Staff and doctors are great, but the appointment wait time is horrible.
Ive consistently had a great experience at Maryland Eye Institute. From the people who work the front desk, to the people who perform the test, to the doctors, all have been friendly and helpful. I always feel as though Im in good hands. My original eye doctor left the practice and I got a new doctor for my last visit. I was surprised to learn that he was the owner. Right away, he identified things that hadnt been noticed before and was able to handle his findings and my concerns without missing a beat. He (just like my prior doctor) made me feel extremely comfortable and like I was in good hands. He had a great bedside manner and was comforting as he told me not to worry and to leave the worrying to him.For me, great experience as usual.
My family and I have been coming here since 2018 and this year I had a bad experience. Came in for the yearly check-up + one extra test, but they have done completely different visits (i found out when I received the bill!). I talked to the managers office, without finding a solution. Then the practice manager should have called, but of course, she did not call me back. Once I called and I spoke to the practice manager it was completely useless! I will not go back again, they have lost 4 customers!!
Went well. Staff and eye doctor were cordial.
I give Maryland Eye Institute five stars! This practice is excellent. Doctors are very knowledgeable, up to date on the most recently studies, helpful and most importantly explain their process for your care making certain that you understand every step. Docs do an outstanding job with patients and are exceptionally watchful for special care patients. If you are looking for an outstanding eye care professional, this is the practice. Bravo Maryland Eye Institute!
I am a long time patient at Maryland Eye Institute! I always have a great visit (every 6 month). All staff is professional, friendly and kind. The office is equipped with the latest technology for a comprehensive medical eye exam. Dr. Tavassoli takes her time to explain results of the tests to me and gives me helpful recommendations. I purchased eye glasses and contacts from their optical shop on multiple occasion. I am very pleased with the accuracy of glasses/contacts prescriptions and timely work. 5 stars office indeed!
The physicians are great especially Doctor Elera, and the other medical staff are nice and welcoming especially Alonzo( I believe that’s his name). However, the front desk staff bring the customer service way down. Especially the lady who handles the check outs. She’s a blonde hair lady... for the staff that reads this and may wonder who I am referring to. It is Covid, so they have a few policies... some are written and explained and some are not. One of the policies is that they do not want patients entering the office. They want you to wait outside of the office and they will come out to see if you have an appointment and check your temperature. Understandable. But they are not quick to answer their phones when you are waiting outside the door to have them check you in. They also will have no one in the waiting area inside the office but will not acknowledge the patients that are outside waiting to be checked in. They go out of their way to not acknowledge you. Horrible customer service. Also, life happens... I have an 8 year old son and as a single mother I do not always have access to a sitter especially during covid. Because of covid, I am guessing their policy states ( I am not sure where it’s stated because I have not seen anything stating this) that only one patient can come with out a visitor. Ok, if that’s the policy I understand. However, I was not aware of such a policy and out of three appointments within 1 week that were required by the physician, I had to bring my son one time because my neighbor was unable to sit with him while they are doing virtual learning. So, not thinking there is an issue because I wasn’t made aware of said “policy” I bought my son with me. Upon check in, blonde hair lady (if I knew her name I’d address her a bit more appropriately) asked if I had an appointment, to which I responded yes. She then asked if my son had an appointment To which I responded no. She proceeds to huff and puff. Sensing her annoyance I explained to her that I am a single mother and am not privy to babysitters all the time and if it’s a problem I will reschedule. But, life happens. I was not upset with the policy, I was upset with her handling of communicating it to me... which she never communicated... all she did was huff and puff like a dragon. She, was seemingly frustrated with the Asian mother who was before me. That lady made an appt for her and her son and I guess the timing was a problem since the mother needed to be with her child during his appt. Whatever the case was, she need not bring her frustrations over to me. I am huge on customer service and this eye doctors office front desk staff is lacking in that area. To the physician in charge of this practice.... if you care about your patients and the quality of service they are receiving, you may want to address the front desk staff who are the first impression and the last impression on your patients. Remember, no patients... no money. No money, no practice. No practice, no jobs for the front desk staff to be rude!Update: response to practice manager....My appointment was not made on your website. I never once visited your website as I was referred from my primary physician. That being said.... the policy should be told to the patient when making the appointment. You addressed the policy which I stated I understood! You did not address the conduct of the lady who was rude!I will not return and would suggest that other do not come to your establishment. Other people have reviewed your front desk staff and what you should do is address the issue instead of going out of your way to explain a policy that I stated I understand but it was never told to me and I received attitudes. Do you understand that?!?! Re read my review if you don’t. But once again you and your staff are horrible in addressing issues and it shows. Please see the photo I have submitted. After the “practice managers” response focusing on the “policy” instead of the staffs behavior, I went to the website to search for the covid policy, it says come alone or “minimize” Guests
I have always been well cared for by Dr. Naseh. Although sometimes I wait quite a bit to be seen, he always spends as much time as I need with me. Yesterday I saw an associate, Dr. Mendez, and she was very professional and helpful. All kinds of precautions taken for safety there too.
If I could honestly give this place 0 stars I would. I have been coming here since 2014 and just recently I’ve been having such a hard time and horrible experience here. I’ve waited a MONTH to get my lenses( I have never waited this long for lenses or contacts ever)and I called them 3 TIMES and the 2nd time THEY HUNG UP ON ME and finally once they said they had my lenses ready they said it’ll take 25-30min to put them on my frames. Once I get to the office they said it takes 2 HOURS?!? I live all the way in Frederick and for them to tell me that originally through the phone they said it was going to take “30min” is just straight up irresponsible. So I basically had to cancel the plans I had that day because how will I be able to see without my glasses?!.Lisa didn’t even help make the situation better and I’m not really happy with how she talked to me or my mother. I will NEVER come back here. Really hope they can be more responsible since this is someone’s vision I’m talking about.
I have been a long-time customer of the Maryland Eye Institute (years and years!) I come back every time for the physicians and technicians who provide quality professional personal service with a smile - and almost always someone remembers me and my family, which goes beyond just fulfilling a commitment. Making appointments is fast, easy and efficient and the waiting area is comfortable, but nobody has to wait for long. Ive also had excellent results when purchasing eye wear and they have a large assortment from which to choose. Ill continue to go here for my eye care needs and I recommend them all the time.
Professional staff, kindly, good costumer service
I have been very happy with the Maryland Eye Institute. I have been going there for the last 4 yrs.Everyone is friendly and helpful. It is like a family all of them helping one another. The office is very organized. All the doctors have helped me with my eye issues and I have some issues. They watch me very closely which I like. I would definitely recommend this office.I do get my glasses there they are a little more expensive but excellent quality. You get what you pay for.
Professional staff, knowledgeable doctors
Absolutely a great practice. Everyone is very friendly. Hightly recommend. Have been a patient for close to 20 years
The service that I get when I come here is beyond 5 stars. Im a diabetic and they made sure my vision was good.. they treat you like family and that means a lot.
I completed the online appt information and still had to wait 45 minutes to be called back to doctor’s office then wait another 15 minutes to be seen by the doctor. Too long a wait.
I’ve been going to see Dr. Naseh for several years. Today I had an appointment at 1:30 and did not get to see him until around 3:30, at which point the eye examination only took around 10 minutes. Part of the reason it took so long is because they decided to change a payment policy a few days beforehand without notifying me and I had to pay $150 upfront, as opposed to being billed later after the final cost has actually been determined. I overheard the management telling someone who had a similar complaint as me that they made this policy because It is more convenient for them. Sure, eye doctors provide a specialized service but it is also a convenience business. The Maryland Eye Institute definitely cares about their convenience over their customers’ convenience, as I had to wait for two hours and pay for something that I had very little explanation on.
This clinic is way much better than last year. Some of the staffs were not nice last year.My visit was pleasant and very friendly. I definitely will come back for my next vision check up.
Ive been going to Maryland Eye Institute for several years now. Theyve been consistently kind, thoughtful, and attentive. Dr. Naseh was able to provide me treatment for a recurrent eye issue that Kaiser Permanente wasnt able to deal with for *two years*. Would unhesitatingly recommend.
This was my first visit. Waited for 1 and fifteen minutes to be seen. The receptionist did not seem friendly or inviting, in fact, snapped at another customer. The doctor is arrogant and condescending though probably competent. The exam was very thorough. So if you are someone who feels better going to a friendly place where staff are down-to-earth and know how to relate to their customers, this is probably not a place for you. If you dont mind the stereotypical diva doctor, give it a try. There are options and staff here need to be aware of this in their presentation. You did not recognize me as a patient because I was accompanying my grandmother who was the patient. It was your organization...
An incredible team indeed. Every one of them - check in to check out, exceptional. Clark Plucinski
Dr. Naseh is a top doc in my view. Always spends the time to answer all questions and I feel like I get top quality exams.
I got an email confirming my appointment and to fill out the registration. That would cut my waiting time in half. When I got to the office I waited outside and was told that someone would be with me shortly. It seemed like it took forever for someone to come out. After signing in I was told to sit. Five minutes later I was told that they had everything and to step outside. I went to my car and after 30 minutes waiting I called to reschedule. The staff told me that they would call me within 5 minutes. My last surprise was that I had an appointment with Dr. Naseh but he wasnt even in the office. Dont recall the female doctors name, she was fine and did my exam. Then I made an appointment with Dr. Naseh and when I confirmed, the scheduler looked at me with a surprise that I wanted Dr. Naseh. Not sure who I have my next appointment with, but will confirm in a couple of months. Love the office, but this experience was upsetting.
Have good customer service and thorough in their jobs. Dr Naser has been my eye doctor for over 3years and he is very diligent. I will definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a competent and knowledgeable eye doctor.
Dr. Nesah was gracious to see me within 30 minutes of my call; he was patient, kind, and listened intently to help me try to identify my sudden vision problems. He didn’t rush me and he asked me to come back so he could follow up and make sure I got a resolution. The technician was also superb! I feel blessed to have this practice on my team!
I don’t know about the other doctors at this place, but Dr. Farhad Naseh is very rude and does not show any regards to his patients. To a non English speaker patient who asked him if she can call her English speaker spouse to translate what he was telling her, instead of making sure she fully understood him by approving the request, he went on, screaming on her and asking what and why she doesn’t understand what he is saying, letting her in confusion. This is not professional and acceptable at all and must be addressed.
Modern, spacious office environment and convenient Location. Optometrists and Technicians seem knowledgeable and efficient.Office staff are fast and friendly.Dr.Naseh explains everything he’s doing and what he needs to watch for in the future.I would gladly return here for future eye exam appointments.
Good and courteous service.
I’ve been a patient for only a few months and have found Drs. Naseh and Tavassoli very efficient and friendly. They are professional and express concern about my eye health ensuring understanding for the possible care. Im very pleased with both cataracts done by Dr. Naseh. At the pre-surgery visits, both doctors spent time to answer all of my questions and provided honest and helpful unfit to help me make my Surgery decisions.
Dr, Naseh is great! He makes me feel comfortable when conducting the eye exam. He takes care of my vision needs and makes it convenient to be able to purchase eyeglasses right there. As I get older it is nice to find very dependable and friendly doctors as Dr. Naseh! I greatly appreciate him and his team
Just getting around to praising them for the amazing job they did with my mom during her eye surgery. She was very anxious before getting there due to her cataract. Dr. Naseh and his staff treated my mom with respect and patients. It will be almost six months since she had her cataract surgery and she is still talking about her positive experience at Maryland Eye Institute. Thank you.
I had to take my mom to this place yesterday . I can’t say it enough how this place is a great place . Starting from the waiting room, the person who helped us to check in was very friendly, polite and answered all the question we had. All of the them who helped us before the doctor saw us were amaizing!!After all, I don’t know how to explain about Dr. Farhad Naseh. I have seen so many doctors In different places but I have never seen a doctor just like Dr. Farhad Naseh. From the beginning, he was very professional, friendly and also explained everything we need to know about the eye exams . He listen and answered all of our questions. I highly recommend Dr. Farhad Naseh to anyone who is looking an eye doctor . Thank you Dr. Farhad Naseh and the team !!
My husband and I went for routine visits but due to Covid I was told it would be coded as Medical Exams. When I scheduled I specifically asked if then insurance covered it all...I was told yes. For a routine eye exam our copay is $5. Well, we get there promptly and now the copay is $50 a piece. My appt was at 2:15 and my husbands was at 2:45. He was called back at 3:15 and I went 15-20mins afterwards. After the diluting was done...the doctor told me that my eye prescription was the same as last visits. When I received the Rx and arrived home it was different. My husband stated he felt rushed and after asking some questions he now was told he had a stigmatism. We both felt like both doctors rushed us out after taking us back late. The checkout lady had an attitude. It was the worse experience Ive ever had at this office.
2020 Review: While adhering to COVID-19 safety restrictions, the Institutes process remains very awkward, and could be streamlined somewhat. In the past month I have had appointments with 5 other doctors, and none of them have access procedures that are as awkward as the Eye Institute. In addition, my wait time was 45 minutes past appointment time (I notified staff that I had another appointment within 2 hours of my arrival, but there was little indication of moving me through the process so I could make my other appointment). Also my appointment was with Dr Naseh,, but I was examined by another optometrist - in a rush to clear me out. I was not told in advance that there would be a substitute examiner; otherwise I would have cancelled the visit. Dr Naseh has been my opthamologist for nearly 20 years. I am not happy with this visit.FOUR STARS: 2021 Review (8/31/2021) Subsequent Appointments (3) Update: COVID safety procedures have been relaxed and are more reasonable. Eye examinations/diagnostics are first rate. I value discussions with Dr Naseh (now when I have an appointment with him I dont get shuffled to someone else). However, the wait time of 45 minutes (or longer) needs to be improved.Roger Dahlman -- a patient for more than 20 years.
The technicians at the Maryland Eye Institute are professional, friendly, and attentive. I am extremely pleased with my cataract surgery by Dr. Naseh. My vision has improved drastically. Dorsa was so helpful in scheduling my surgeries. I highly recommend this office.
I always enjoy my visits to this clinic over the last few years. My doctor, Ms. Menandez is very professional, very knowledgeable and personable. I wouldnt go any place else. I trust the Maryland Eye Institute with my eyes and love the personable service they provide.
I had a corneal ulcer and am thankful i found this place, they saved my vision. All three female doctors that i saw are amazing, as well as the 28 yr old young technician(didnt get his name). Thank you!
Great care and compassionate staff. My dad has a number of difficult challenges with his eyes and I brought him here after moving him into the area. They carefully evaluated him and provided a course of treatment to protect his vision. They always explained how and why certain medications were used and needed. When he would have an emergency they were would always find a way to fit him in. Most importantly was how nice everyone was to my dad, engaging him and respecting his concerns. We visited frequently and always found the wait times to be reasonable.
