Im very happy with cleaning staff happpy
It has a good selection of most Indian items but the frozen section is only vegetarian. So if youre looking for ready to eat food thats not veggie samosas or parathas, this isnt the place for you. Theres good parking spots next to the store and in the main parking lot. The only staff are the cashiers so if you need help finding something you have to go to the checkout counters for help. Other than that, its a decent place but disappointing that it is vegetarian only.
Small store but competitive pricing, located in good neighborhood
You can find all Indian groceries here at a good price, the staff are polite and ready to answer any questions youay have...
You will mostly find all the Indian grocery....staff is helpful and courteous.
Great store, they got it all.
A place definitely you can find all you need. Varieties & Varieties of stuff. I love shopping. 🙏
I really enjoy shopping at this little market. The manager is extremely helpful and most of the staff members are friendly. I also like that they carry organic items. However, would love if they carried organic produce.
Average indian store. Usual staff friendliness, not many south Indian items. This place dont sell meat or any non vegetarian food products( you may find ingredients to cook meat though. Not very clean place. Some what organized shelves/racks. Pricing is alright.
Indian and Pakistani stuff available at discounted prices currently.
Pretty much a goto Indian grocery store in Gaithersburg, Germantown, rockville area. Theres Patel Brothers in Montgomery village- but something about this store. 4 stars because the ladies at the billing counter are pretty rude sometimes and chuckle for no reason which is irritating.
I would strongly recommend you to stop selling the full coconuts. I almost buy one every time I visit your shop and I get only 1 good coconut out of 100 I buy. 99 of them are spoiled. If this is the case, Im not sure why are you even selling them. It would be a great help if you stop selling them. Everything else is absolutely wonderful.
One stop for all Indian groceries and snacks. Best Indian store in Washington DC metro area. You should try their fresh Samosas as well.
Nice place. Confused as to why they cant stock Swad mango pickles (medium). They havent had it the entire covid. If you go on Swad website, they will ship you as many as you want for an additional $8.00 shipping per jar. With a $75.00 purchase theres free shipping. For a $5.99 a jar plus $8.00 shipping I will not eat them. I cant store 13 jars. Community store please supply the community.
Typical indian grocery store... You may call it as improvised patel brothers
Friendly staff fresh vegetables quality groceries
My favorite India store. You can rely on their team to help in store to find what you have on your list. Thank you guys
Friendly staff, spacious store and enough parking. If you dont find what you want ask thr staff ladies, they will be more than happy to help. Its not usually busy and they have a section for spiritual objects ect
Good indian store. Patel is bigger and more spacious though..
Went here shopping instacart. So being my first time in here, I was completely lost. One of the senior associates was very helpful in assisting me locate particular items.
You can most of indian groceries and fresh veggies...i would recommend this store
Nice place for indian groceries.
Very nice
Close to my home lots of things ar there& owner I know him long time when he was a kid we Ar Renting Indian moviesHe is very nice Guy
My food was done in 2 min, but I feel like it was not freshly made, they just wanted to close early.
They have all variety of items. They have really good selections
Great little store in the Festival shopping center by the Brighton Village and Governor Square apartment complexes. If you pay cash, you can get a 3% discount off your bill.
Clean, well stocked. Fresh veggies. Good layout & fairly organized. Spacious. Plenty f parking (front & back). Good location. Prices are decent. God selection of fresh hot food ($1 or 50c samosas!)👍👍
Very good experience.
Very good shop for indian grocery. Almost every items are available for Indian food. Great place to enjoy shopping. Thank you
Good place to buy some Indian groceries. Its a bit congested place, but you will find almost all Indian things, specially spicy snacks. Try some Gujarati snacks, you will definitely love that. Its easy to navigate to this place, and its in is good neighborhood, will find all kinds of shops there.
Variety of food brands are well stocked. Various Indian utensils are sold too.
India Bazar is best
Love this place, good customer service have everything you need to get your curry on. Even movies too . This place is a gem and loaded with goodies.
Well organized. Kept clean. Stocked up. I like that they have organic products like 24 Mantra Organics.
100 times better service than the Patel Brothers. ...enough said!!..
Updated:Over the past few months I could see a lot of improvement here. They are pretty good now. Lot of variety. Price is good. You have many products when compared to 3 month ago.----------------------------—-----------Reasonable PriceNot much varietyGood for Indians
Big and clean Indian grocery store with good collection of items.
Good customer service and store was very clean
Great for trying new foods, as most of these things you cant find anywhere else. Freshness if products may be questionable as there was an item that was stored at +4 C or something along the lines of above frozen, and the packaging specifies -18 C. There is a small selection of warm and dry cultural foods at the front.
Better than lotte Patel and many other stores. Very neatly organized and big store. has everything needed for an Indian family. Competitive prices.
Good to buy
Good place for Indian grocery and food items
One can find all the possible Indian items here. Some of the items may be cheaper at Lotte Market that is situated in the same plaza. Also, you get a 3% discount if you pay by cash at the store. During summers, they offer fresh sugarcane juice. All-round year, they sell some appetizers like samosa every morning
This little shop has been steadily growing over the past several years, thanks to growing clientele attracted by reasonable prices and a good variety. They have withstood the challenge from the Korean supermarket chain Lote that has one full aisle dedicated to ethnic Indian goods and sell most Indian groceries and vegetables at very cheap prices. India Bazaar responded by improving their quality and variety while driving down prices and the cost conscious Indians responded by visiting the store in even larger numbers. They have over the past 6 years purchased two adjacent stores and now look like a mini super mart with numbered aisles and a generous roomy feel.We like the prices, quality and variety in the store and would recommend it highly.
They pack a lot in there. They even have Indian movies and other merchandise for sale, along with all the groceries you need to make any home made Indian food. I wanna go in earlier and try their cheap hot lunch.
We drive over 20 minutes to this Indian grocery store to get what we need; we have a few that are closer to us but this store excels in every way. Lots of fresh vegetables to suit indian tastes. The store is huge and has a large variety and collection of indian foods.
Friendly staff. You can get most of your Indian grocery here. I was looking for frozen chicken samosa and lamb kebab. They dont carry meat items I guess. Still a good place for other things.
They have really almost everything Indian. although somethings are missing. Fresh veggies are not always fresh. But overall a good indian grocery store in Gaithersburg
Great selection of groceries. Sparkling clean and friendly staff.
Have all Indian groceries and supportive staff.
Great place to find Indian grocery. Lots of variety in produce and other grocery items. Good prices as well. Parking can be hard to find on the front, but plenty available on the back of the store.
Nice place for Indian grocery... but pretty upset with services provided by Spanish guys working doing inventory. they dont want to help anyone. I asked them location of couple of item but all of them replied go ask to the counter. They were not friendly, when I went to counter, there was a lady, I asked her then she walked with me and showed me where items were even though she had long line of customer to take. I asked her name and she said nita. She was helpful to customers and even was helping some other customers too. Owners needs to train those guys and needs to hire people like her. but this place is good and clean Indian grocery store. Will visit again
Good place fresh ingredients and nice service.
Great selection of groceries and everything you need. But they could turn the TV volume down a little bit which is totally unnecessary.
Good Indian store, they have fresh vegetables and hold a variety of other food items.
Awesome place. Great variety of snacks, produce, frozen foods, spices, and grains. Organized well. This place also has ready-made samosas, vadas piping hot for on the go!
Found a human nail in Imrati (Jain foods) bought from this store. Be very careful about what you buy from here.
Typical indian grocery store with items crammed in shelves and an arrogant lady at the counter with an attitude. Shes obviously doing a favor to you ringing up your stuff so show her some respect you creep. Samosas are pretty good though; grab a few, try not to make eye contact with anyone, pay up and gtfo.
Have frequented the store often, well organized, well lit, found everything I needed as I just moved to the area. They even had every thing I neededfor my new kitchen, I picked up some Ladles and spatulas ( some brand called supershyne really great qualtiy. The spices were cheap. All the snacks had good dates and reasonable prices.
Good store to buy all South Indian and North Indian groceries and but the vegetables seems to be older by a day or two, and I felt the items are little pricey. I visited the store every week. Of course, its a meeting corner to see people from indian origin (but may not be ready to talk ;) Perfumes and deodorants were not available.
One of the largest Indian stores in the area. Vast variety of foods from various parts of India. Vegetables, spices, rice, wheat flour, and snacks of all kinds!
Has everything that you need for Indian groceries but could get really crowded over the weekends. Nice collection of Desi stuff though.
A true Indian store. Range of most of the Desi items youd expect. Some of the items you get here are rare to find in India itself🤗. The staff os very cooperative and descent. I also like that they offer a small % discount for cash payments. And yes.. it is not a small store as such but I just wish that it was as huge as some of the other so called asian stores nearby. This is a must visit store for every Indian in the region. Cheers..!!
Good for immediate dry Indian good needs.
Best Indian grocery store. They should open one up in Bethesda so we dont have to drive all the way to gaithersburg.
WEVE BEEN THEIR CUSTOMER SINCE THEY ESTABLISHED. THE BEST INDIAN GROCERY/GENERAL STORE IN TOWN. THEY CAME A LONG WAY BOSS!
Great place for Indian groceries
A lot of Indian stuff at a good price staff is also cooperative
Wonderful
Wide variety of food stuffs and other stuffs, plus an okay selection of fresh produce.
Nice store, you get all Indian groceries
Great place for ethnic Indian groceries. The produce is hit and miss but packaged products are A+. They also serve fresh sugarcane juice, varieties of fresh deep fried samosa, tikkis and pakora -- excellent to snack on. I wish they had a better assortment of fresh roti, chappati, etc. The ones they sell do not seem to be locally made (most of them) so the manufacturer must have used preservatives, etc.In summary, a great store. I would recommend they source in some quality local Indian snacks, food etc. Not made in NJ, local to DMV.
Okay here is the thing about these desi grocery stores: you go in, find what you want, pay and get out. Dont expect to be greeted, dont expect to be thanked for your business and no, they will not say thank you, come again!Other than that, this place has pretty much everything youd want/need! Oh did I mention they have KULFIS?!?! Better yet, different flavor Kulfis! Try them all and then just buy the whole box. It would be nice if they had multi flavor box too. Side note... always check the price on the shelf and then keep an eye on how much they charge you at the register.
One of the better Indian stores around. Has great variety and well organized. Could do better with fresh veggies though!
Great staff and great deals. Abhishek is so helpful!
Very good collection of Indian items. They provide for festival specific shopping
Good Indian grocery store. A large variety of Indian items available apart from grocery.
Very nice and well stocked store. Staff is very friendly and helpful. I have been shopping at this store for past nine years. Naveen
A very authentic Indian Foods store, with numerous national brands of goods. The prices are all very reasonable as well. The store stocks a selection of fresh vegetables and, most days, also carries freshly-made samosas and sometimes similar food (pakora, etc). They also carry a large selection of Bollywood DVDs to rent (Ive not rented any). The cashiers are always polite and efficient.
Friendly staff and good selection
Best among all India Bazar store staff are very helpful great place to find all Indian spices
Good.
Always dirty store, needs cleaning, I get headaches with smell, Over all its ok store .MAIN ISSUES Cashier are not friendly ladies. They need to be disciplined, this is usa not India. They joke a lot or talk to much, people will be wait in line. This is what I noticed every time I go to this place.Over all its ok because, this is closest Indian store near us,we have no choice,As of 07 2019 I see they are improving. But still need help.
Comparatively bigger space than any other indian stores and neat too.
Well stocked place, with options to buy organic grains, legumes and spices. The freshly prepared Samosas, Vadas and Tikkis are delicious. The staff is pleasant and always helpful.
Good assortment of Indian groceries, but beware of the expiry dates on the items. They do a very poor job of clearing out expired inventory.
Good service
I was surprised and sorry to see that it was Crowded and no social distancing maintained.
Has all the Indian groceries at reasonable prices. They have been constantly expanding in the last few years.
Firstly the shop has Poor lighting at night to an extent that we had to use cellphone lights to get around. This shop has crowded placement of shelves. Hardly any place to go around with the cart. Found it very disorganized. The guys who were stocking things were not helpful. Selection of items kept in the shop were good but getting the right item was a pain. Just got the bare essentials and left. Oh yeah lastly but not the least the lady at the checkout seems like she was doing me a BIG FAVOr by scanning the items I purchased! wow that was a first for me!
Worse customer experience. There was a pakistani lady named jenifer (think a fake name). She didn’t allow me in store 5 minutes before opening time I requested her since it was cold outside.
Bit far from congressional lane which is my home, but has a great stock.
Really bad customer service! The cashier was really rude and acted like she was doing me some favor, like i was buying everything for free. I guess her name was jenifer and she was constantly busy talking to someone! The owner should consider these complaints and react on it!! Please improve your services!!
Nice place for indian kirana
