Its 7 minutes from my house. Closest store to me, I LOVE the updated store (Recently renovated) - feels very stylish and fun. The music playlist is top notch. Never have to wait for help - customer service is quick and ready to assist.

Pathetic customer care at this Target tonight. I called in to check for specific TVs availability and asked to place an hold on the item (which was denied) because its a 40 min drive from my house. I was told there were 6 TVs in stock over the phone an hour before, but when I reached the place, there was only 1 TV in stock and they refused to sell to to me since it had a hold placed on it by someone else. When asked about the wrong information provided over the phone, the guy at the desk blamed it on a software malfunction. Such a disappointing experience from a go-to store! Expect much more from an iconic brand!

This was fast and easy. I had all of my selections in less than 4 hours. You didnt even have to purchase a minimum amount to qualify for pick up like you do in other stores. I had to wait less than 2 minutes once in the parking lot. Great experience!

The selections seem much less since the redesign of the store. The facility is very bright and clean now. The employees are very helpful directing you to the new locations of items. The check out staff was very helpful with checking out and getting credit for it in my circle wallet

They offer exclusives when it comes to music! They have SO MANY hard to find TV series for a good price! That goes for movies and music! Theres always great deals! Staff are majorly friendly!

I dont like the new layout at all. The bathroom is never properly cleaned. They need to scour the sinks with soft scrub, wash down the walls inside the stalls, clean the corners out around the bottom of stall walls, clean the toilet handles and the handles in the stall doors. It always smells dirty and looks dirty.

The Galesburg store has done so many great upgrades, but unfortunately has stopped manning their registers. The self-checkouts are a nice option to have, but not everybody wants to do the work themselves. Walmart has more actual registers open than Target does these days! Ive been in there on 2 different occasions, during different times of the day and its the same thing: no registers open, only self checkout....ridiculous. I was not the only customer in there unhappy about this. Please start opening more registers!!

The parking lot could be full but somehow (maybe the layout) makes it feel like you are shopping unencumbered and in a stress free environment. Quality products at decent prices and even better deals if you have the RED card (either credit or the one linked to your debit card) as you save 5% on every purchase. Combine that with the Cartwheel app and save even more! The staff, Jen, Thomas, Brendan, just to name a few - superb.

They ruined the store. They have a lot less selection and things are scattered about the store. Purses are in at least 8 locations, gloves in over a dozen places, and drinks scattered throughout 5 aisles plus endcaps. Things are difficult to find. Theyve have raised prices significantly. Their clearance prices are much higher than regular prices at other stores as are their sale prices. The store seems obnoxiously bright, which might help older shoppers. THERE WERE ZERO CHECKOUTS OPEN. It is all self service. About 25% of items did not have prices on the self or on the product making shopping difficult. Several aisles were blocked by employees with huge carts and were unshoppable. A few other employees followed me around asking if I needed help. One No thanks should have been enough. There is now a Starbucks inside instead of the little sit down eating area that used to be nice if you were shopping with somebody who shopped too long. They have a few upscale organic items in cleaning supplies, toiletries, and feminine products but not much of a selection; the prices on such products are extremely high. In a town with fewer and fewer options, this a big disappointment, likely a corporate decision. Sadly the store is never as busy as it used to be, understandably so.

Ordered on line and Changed the mailing address and information. Got I received the email they received the order it was not the right information. Called target and had to jump through hoops. They said they couldnt change the information.(even though the order was done an hr before).told me to call ups. Well a week later still did not receive my products. Ending up canceling my order.

I went in around 11am on Black Friday and there were a lot of customers but the staff was so nice. I worked retail for the last 11 years and I know how overwhelming and frustrating it can become. Great job Team Galesburg. I always return.

This Target has very limited selection and inventory which may be because it is one of the smaller Target stores. Shelves also do not appear to be well stocked. I found myself going down the street to Walmart for much better selection of products.

I told friend one could get t-paper at target as walmart shelves are always empty.

This is a friendly store stocking apparel, electronics, household items, and health and beauty supplies. There is even a food counter with a few limited selections. The reason I rate it only four stars is because this is a smaller store which lacks the broader array of merchandise found in the larger stores like the one in Peoria, Illinois.

Ok, store. Im not a Target fan. But I had two $10 gift cards. Well paid for most of a pair of $24 water sandles days before vacation. Visit was good.

Horrible service! I was checking out and because there was no price on one pair of pants I was purchasing it became a thirty minute fiasco. First, the gentleman who was checking me out needed someone to go back and check the price and when there was confusion about which pair of pants I was purchasing, I went back to help them find the pants. When I came back to the register to finish checking out there was a different female cashier who was now checking the person in line behind me out. When I asked what was going on?... I was given the answer from the new cashier that she didnt know when I would be back. Really? Im helping target employees do their job accurately so that must have been confusing for them. So I waited patiently for her to finish checking the other customer out and then she pulled my order back up in mid transaction. She then proceeded to check us out, However, in her zeal to check other people out and remove the cashier that was helping me, this new cashier put a free pair of pants in my bag. This pair of pants was used to try and find the price of the pants I was purchasing. So when I got home I had two pair of $30.00 pants for the price of one. Thanks Target! Of course, since I was honest I had to be inconvenienced again by Target by going back to the store and returning the FREE pair of pants. Thanks for your excellent service Galesburg Target. Especially when I returned the free pair of pants the customer service individual was rude! I demanded to see the Manager. He was less rude and very confused at how his employees were dealing with customers at the check out lines. These managers should know what is going on in their STORE!

My step dad bought a flat screen in moline il and once we got back home (many miles later) the screen was cracked! So at 9 pm that night we called and got a brand new one on hold and picked it up the next morning! Once we got there they had it all ready to go! We were out in 5 minutes. Great customer service!
