I called to check on available copies of the game. Jeff correctly answers that copies are in stock and i hang up a hair early... then he calls back to let me know theyre on hold! Very professional and thoughtful. Please pay him more.

Staff wasnt very helpful and barely looked up from what he was doing even though I had nearly my entire family in the store browsing. We were the only ones there! I did ask him a question and he took a quick cursory look on the net but that was the jest of our interaction.

Wont explain how the employee knows how their taking or not taking games also when it says it can be trade in online this store needs to get its act together instead of declining coustomers :)) also it does not say on their website I looked three times.

Thanks to the Covid-19, there isnt much available, however, they usually are well stocked with the latest in games and accessories. Lots of pops to choose from and loads of stuff on clearance. A must stop and look...great hidden gems within.

The employees are very helpful and friendly. I recently brought in games to sell and the guy at the counter was very thorough and upfront with how things work. He also did a great job explaining the benefits of the rewards program and walking me through what each level was. They dont give you alot for older games but I understand why, so its not a deal breaker. I think they are a great place to buy used games and their prices on new games are competitive with other big box stores.

I love gamestop! I also love Video Games! Ive been going to this store since it has opened. I have gotten all of my favorite games here. I just love it to shreds they always have great deals too and simply really just really amazing customer service!

Ive been a customer at the Galesburg GameStop since it has opened and yes it has its faults but that was because of certain staff that is no longer there. But it has its ups too yea if they dont have the item you dont get all pissed cause they will order it for you its called patients. Plus they work with you to be oh mist I think that Mike and the rest of the staff there now are really friendly and its been a great place for me.

Had a terrible experience there today. Normally they are great, fair, and actually try to deal with the problem you are encountering. Today the store manager decided to lose a customer of more than ten years over a $6 trade in.An employee took our ps controller as a trade in as well as several games, but could not take our ps because we didnt have the cables. He said to just bring it in with the cables at a later date and theyll take it if it works, even though the controller had already been traded.My husband arrives there today with the system and cables, and the manager says he cant take the system because it doesnt have a controller. I called to try to straighten it out, maybe help even, and the MANAGER wants to know who to FIRE!OVER $6! I can only hope he was joking. Aside from being concerned about the volatility of employment there, I mentioned I was none too happy that they say one thing and do another, but was otherwise polite.He asked me to look for a receipt or try to remember the date, but hed try to work something out anyway. He did not. The PlayStation is sitting in front of me rn. There were several other things brought with the PlayStation, and the man behind the counter just nitpicked everything else to the point where it wasnt even worth the 10 mile trip! Dont bother trying to trade anything because theyll try to screw you using their policies which seem to change with the employee thats working, and their mood. Worst customer service we have ever received there. Never going back.

Absolutely horrendous service. Ive been to Gamestops in many other cities but this one tops the cake for the worst ever, period.I call to see if they have a item in stock, they tell me its in. I go in there and they tell me they didnt actually check to see if its in stock and they dont have it. Cool, thanks.Call on another occasion for a different item. They tell me they have one in stock, but we cant have one until a new shipment comes. Um... what?????? My angry fiance decides to call again and suddenly the story changes. Of course we can have the one the have in stock! Interesting.Suddenly driving to Peoria for service isnt a bad idea.

Small but the staff is helpful and usually friendly. Theres a variety of different games, systems, and even small accesories to decorate with. They also sell cool clothes that are hard to find elsewhere!

The Galesburg store has the best customer service, the store is always so clean.

Worst one Ive been to. Lied to on multiple occasions costing me lots of money on bogus products they wouldnt return. save your money and peace of mind and go to disk relplay these guys are thieves and liars.

Games were dirty and scratched and one game was sent to a refurbish factory and sent back to store and told fine to playWhen returned games was to scratches wouldnt affect game play
