This shop is a great go-to for any bait-related need. They have a wide variety of every bait you need for fishing. Personally, this is where I got my crickets for a pet lizard. The options of this shop are endless and the prices are the best around as well.Tip: make sure you either have a cooler to transport these, or you are going home right away. Bait does not keep well in a hot car.

Poindexters Bait Shop is great. You can get your fishing license, bait, lures, rods, reels, fishing lines, hooks, sinkers, bobbers, and everything you would expect in a good bait store. Poindexters prices are good. The service is always good and the people are friendly. They will tell you whats biting and will give you advice on good spots to fish. I work for Rons Automotive which is also on South Water Avenue so they are close to me also. I would recommend this business to anyone who fishes in Middle Tennessee. Note: Google Maps has them on the wrong side of the street. I clicked on it and moved the marker to the correct side but who knows how long it will take them to correct it.
