This pharmacy is obviously understaffed, which is understandable in the current environment. However, they greatly overpromise on how quickly prescriptions will be ready. However long it takes, that is fine, but when we were told that it would be ready in thirty minutes, then thirty minutes later we were told another thirty minutes, then when pressed they said they do not know when it would be ready, then there is a major problem. It appears pharm techs are told just to say “thirty minutes” without any real sense of the time. When we were finally able to pick up the medication, they said they needed our new insurance information. The problem was that we had given them our new insurance card a couple hours before when the medication was dropped off. They said they did not have the card. I said I would just pay, I just want to go home, they waited another approximately ten minutes, only to say they had found the insurance card. They asked me to wait while they ran it through insurance, even though I had said I just want to pay out of pocket and go home. When they ran it through, there was another problem on their part. They had input the card holder’s birthday incorrectly and needed to fix something in their system. I begged them just to let me pay for the antibiotics for my daughter and go home. I said, “Please just let me pay, I have been here an hour dealing with your problems, please just let me pay and go home. I don’t care about the insurance, just let me go.”The tech said she was just trying to help me and I needed to be patient; basically, she was indirectly blaming me for their problems. They finally let me pay and go home. Throughout the ordeal they reminded me numerous times that they were understaffed, as if that were a valid excuse for giving us a wildly inaccurate ready time, losing our insurance cards, inputting our information into their system incorrectly, and not just letting me pay when my patience was spent and I was willing to forgo insurance and just pay cash. The pharmacy management at this location is atrocious and I recommend going elsewhere.
Never do they have what is prescribed to us we need at this Greenlea location and the old Right Aid in Hendersonville TN. Haven’t needles for for months. I will never be back. The other locations don’t seem to have these problems. Why?
Terrible customer service. The entire pharmacy staff went to lunch at the same time and they completely closed. Even though I had already been waiting in line for 15 min. When I got to the window they told me they were all going to lunch and I’d have to wait until they were done. When they got back they helped two customers that haven’t been there as long as I had. They don’t care about their customers.
Worst pharmacy experience. They could not get my insurance information correct. Blamed the insurance. I call my insurance, they tried putting the prescription through under a nickname and NOT the name ON THE PRESCRIPTION!! Told me it was a DOB issue. I go back in and tell them they need to go by the name on the prescription. Then Im informed they would have to order the medication, they did not inform me of this issue previously. Do not use this location.
I arrived at Walgreens pharmacy last night 5 min till closing. There were 3 cars ahead of me. As the car in front of me drove off. “Amanda” looked out the window saw my car, turned the lights off and walked away. I have never experienced something so rude at a Walgreens pharmacy till this location.
The pharmacy employees always take great care of me and my prescriptions!! Been going here for years, will be going here for many more!!
Quick in and out. Typical walgreens.
Pharmacy refused to fill my prescription and just told me to buy my medication over the counter and that insurance wouldnt cover it. I have gotten this script filled at a different pharmacy multiple times without issue and it is MUCH cheaper with insurance rather that buying OTC. I would give zero stars if I could.
The people that work in the pharmacy are the least helpful people I’ve ever met. They’ve lost prescriptions. This time they told me my prescription was out of stock and would be ready the next day. I went three days in a row after being told the next day over and over and it still is not available.
Melissa who is an employee there is so very nice ans helpful. In fact i have not met one person whom i have had a negative experience with, but melissa in the pharmacy goes above and beyond to help the customers
The front of store staff is always cheerful and glad to help. The pharmacy staff is knowledgeable and takes time to answer questions. Insurance dictated that I use CVS last year and Im so glad to be back at Walgreens especially this store.
The people that work in pharmacy at this location are very nice but they have messed up my prescription several times. I have had prescriptions lost by their system which requires my physicians assistance to recover. They will say they have received your prescription renewal, but when you go to pick it up there is nothing there and they say there is no record. Basically the only thing that consistently works is to walk into the store, order your renewal, and wait in the store until it is ready.
Absolutely the worst service I’ve ever experienced with a pharmacy. Errors with refills. Mistakes made with filling new prescriptions. Extremely rude pharmacy technicians and pharmacists.
This place is horrible. Short counts on pain meds twice then blamed on me. Then messed up and gave me another prescription that was double the dose I was prescribed then the pharmacist said it was on me because my doctor changed me to a lower dose. Blaming me for her mistake. Then now they took 3 hours to fill a prescription for my wife and Everytime we called or showed up they would say it was an insurance issue. Problem being we dont use insurance on these pills and havent ever but once again the pharmacist says its my fault and is rude to me as I left. Very unprofessional I left the other Walgreens in my town just because of things like this. Horrible business with a big name on it.
Had Rx filled x2 different times with them calling to say they were ready for pick up. Went 15 mins later and was told they didnt have anything for me, that I needed to come back tomorrow. Filled another Rx that Ive have had filled at another Walgreens in Goodlettsville for almost 2 yrs (same medication, same quantity, same strength, etc, same price of $13.84, using the same prescription discount card) Gallatins WG was trying to charge me almost $50 for the same EXACT medication. When I enquired about it I was told if I didnt like I could take my business elsewhere. Called Walgreens back in Goodlettsville and found out that Gallatins WG actually took off my perception discount card. The pharmacist in Goodlettsville gave an earful to to the the pharmacist in Gallatin and reinstated my discount on card. Needless to say, the girl who 1st was very rude to be when I 1st drove up to tried to over charge me my meds wouldnt wait on me when I pulled up the 2nd time. She saw me and in the window and turned right around and walked away. This pharmacy is all about charging the highest price possible, not helping the customer. Very disappointed
This is a pretty standard Walgreens. The store is clean and organized, and it still had that new feel.
If you want to be treated with disrespect come here. This pharmacy is a joke. Rude and unprofessional I’ve never had this experience at any other Walgreens aside from this one. Drive to Hendersonville save yourself the head ache in
Rude pharmacy techs.
Really bad customer service.
Typical Walgreens...
