Great experience and wonderful staff!Went by today to repair a small crack in my car’s windshield after I was quoted over the phone (the person I spoke to was very nice and helpful). When I arrived the man assured me he would be able to fix the crack and began working immediately. He was done in just a few minutes and it looked great! - barely visible and I don’t have to worry about it spreading (especially in this insane heat). I would highly recommend this business!

We picked up a rough chip in our windshield on I-45. I thought it would not be repairable, but we were in and out in no time after we brought it to Binswanger. Amazing work in terms of quality and efficiency, and the staff member we worked with was very kind and professional. Would use this service again without hesitation.

I have had 3 experiences with Binswanger and each time they were extremely helpful and very customer oriented. First time was custom glass for my shower door and another recent experience for replace side mirrors and window glazing. Every time they were excessively reasonably priced and did not charge for some of it. This is a company that I will support and recommend enthusiastically.

Had my windshield replace on my truck, 6 months later it started leaking when it rained. It short circuit the electronics. When I called them about it they gave me the run around and denied liability. Will NEVER do business with them again! Consumer Beware!

Their initial, service charge is $175, which covers nothing. No problem. We were familiar with Binswanger from Houston and thought they were reputable, so worth it for us.We called them to fix a shower door. We told them the size of the door, when we ordered the service. They sent one guy out and the door was too big. They then had to send out an extra guy. They had to work on the door a second day because they had to leave the first day. They couldnt fix the second day, because they didnt have the right part and scratched the old hinge. Not to mention they were VERY late to this meeting. They fixed it fine on the 3rd day satisfactorily. They were messy, as they left shards of glass and metal all in the shower and bathroom. They also did not clean the glass itself. They wore dirty, muddy shoes in the house and didnt clean up after themselves.When I went to pay, I met with Ron Sandlin, who is either owner or manager. I noticed on our bill that he has added a $19.99 gas charge, which he never disclosed before. He also added a caulk, screws and bolts charge of another approx. $20, which was never disclosed beforehand. I asked if these were charges on every call and he said yes. I explained that we wouldnt have a problem with charges, if he would have disclosed them up front. He was clearly irritated that I questioned these charges. He then said he would take them off, but was going to make notes on my account that they will never do business with me again. I would NEVER do business with this man again. Customer service lost.

Just had porch glass (installed by some prior owner) (that made my porch into a sauna) removed. Mike, who is knowledgeable and friendly, did a great job. Very efficient. The charge was more than fair.

We had Binswanger install our mirrors in our new home. The front office was courteous and very friendly. Mike was our installer along with Hank. Mike was so particular about his work and wanted to make sure the mirrors were installed perfect since our walls were slightly off. Mike also cut our rain glass for our cabinet doors which also look beautiful. Thanks Mike and Binswanger

My car rear window was shattered so I called around for quotes and Binswanger had the best pricing and would be able to fix the next day. I dropped my car off this morning and it was done before noon. Wow!!! Everyone was so friendly. I now know who will always do my glass work

My side mirror fell off and couldn’t find a replacement! Call them first thing in the morning and the lady was so sweet that answered and said to drop it off. I drove it over and they tech fixed it within 20 mins and it was only $20. I’d highly recommend them, they are fast, priced reasonably, courteous and friendly!

If you ever need glass work this the company you should call! It was easy to deal with Ron, Randy and Shelly. The kept me up to date on what was happen due to they had to order the glass. This is a first class business hands down!

Ive never posted a review but this place is ridiculous! I called & ordered a glass for a coffee table in the middle of July & was told that they would call me when it was ready, would be about a week, possibly a little longer. I waited over two weeks before calling to see if it was ready, but was told they had know record of my order. I didnt think much of it, measured my table again & called back with the info. Never heard anything back from them. I called & was told the same thing they had no record of my order.. So I measured the table & called back only to have the same thing happen. I tried one more time, checking with them a week later on a Thursday. The woman remembered me but couldnt find my order, she was going to double check & call me back. She didnt so I called on Friday afternoon, she apologized & said she wasnt sure what happened & asked me to give her the tables measuments again. But I was done & found another local glass business! I was pleasantly surprised when they returned my call promptly & was told my order would be ready the next day(not a week or more) this place is terrible!

I got excellent service form Binswanger. I needed to replace a broken rear hatch window on my 2009 Nissan. I called in the afternoon, took my car in the next morning and it was done shortly after noon. I thought the price was very reasonable. I would definitely use them again and recommend them to my friends.

This place has the nicest people and the best service. There have been 3 times in the last 18 months where me or my father have come in to have a simple thing fixed on either of our vehicles and have left not being charged for the simple fix that they had done. The most recent occurrence was when I showed up needing a piece of weatherstripping installed on my car. Within minutes, The new weatherstripping that I had supplied was installed and I was not billed for their work. These small acts are very appreciated and I will return when I am in need of any glasswork. Thanks guys for everything that y’all do!

Had the worst customer service at this place. I have never experienced so much rudeness. I called this morning to make sure they did the rock chip repair. Who I spoke with assured me they did and were open. I drove an hour to get there, and was told they didnt have anyone available to do the repair. Then when I told the lady I drove a long way, she said, How would you like me to access your problem? Can I make a technician appear?

Called in the morning to get a chip repaired in my windshield and they got me in right away. The tech was polite as was all the other staff. He had the repair done in no time. When we went to pay, I was told there was no charge consider it a birthday present. We never expected that but it was a pleasant surprise. On top of that when I checked on prices for chip repair they were the most reasonable in the area even if we would have had to pay.

I woke up Wednesday morning to a smashed car window before work. I called Binswanger as soon as they opened and they were able to give me a quote and schedule me for first thing the next day. Of all the auto glass shops I called, they offered the best price and had the best customer service by far. My window was quickly replaced the next day and they cleaned up as much of the broken glass as possible.

These people went above and beyond anyone we have ever meet. Our truck got broken into the day before we were suppose to leave with seven other trucks. Our insurance company called Binswanger. They were so friendly and understanding. They told us we were the fifth people to call and they would try to help but could not make any promises. If anything, they could tape up the windows so that we could make it home safely. Within five minutes they called us back and said they could replace our two windows. We were so happy. Later in the day we called to check on the truck and of course or more bad news. The windows never made it, so the owner drove all the way to Houston to pick everything up, the tech working on the truck said he would stay late. Well, the windows got fixed after 6:20 and they closed at 5. These people went out of their way for our family. I would recommend them to anyone. As my husband says these are good people. We truly thank you to all the employees at Binswanger in Galveston, Tx. I dont know of any owner who would track down a deliver truck, lol, thank you. And Justin the tech, who probably needed to be at home, thank you for putting in the windows. God Bless all of yall from my family to yours.

Had a star shapped rock chip I needed repaired - I called and they said I could stop by. They did a great job repairing it (almost invisible) in less than 10 mins! Great service, good hearted people! Will be going back for future glass needs. Definitely recommend!

I had to get two of my car door windows replaced because I had them smashed in a robbery in Houston. I was super bummed about that but the service provided by Biswanger really brightened my day! I took my car in at 9 am to drop off before school. I was going to call an Uber to get to school but the store manager offered me a ride! And I was able to come back after school at 3:30 pm and both my windows were replaced! Great service and skilled technicians! Highly recommended!
