We love our poly furniture, but the price tag can be really steep. Happened to notice some poly chairs in front of Star as we drove by. Pleasantly surprised to find they had some more budget-friendly options than any other store weve visited. Wouldve never thought to look there, since they mainly do interiors. Everyone we worked with was pleasant and straightforward.

Huge selection of nice furniture. Running sales often keep a look out for them. Found just the sofa I was looking for my living room at just the right price.

Furniture is not cheap anywhere you go, but many places that sell discount furniture sell junk. If you are someone that feels like you can tell the difference, you will like this store because they sell nice stuff. Its pricey, but they have regular sales and they wont gouge you or pressure you either. Plus, theyve been around a long time and have a good reputation. Delivery service is great.

They have a fantastic collection of furniture, 2 stories of furniture in fact.The staff is very knowledgeable as well. They know how to decorate and organize furniture appropriately. This helped when my wife and I were unable to decide on some furniture decisions.The staff also arent car salesman that try to up sale you. Theyre honest and they will work with you if youre on a budget. They also give honest answers to your questions.Finally, they have had inventory even with the covid crisis putting a strain on their freight logistics. I have been able to stop by every other month over the last year with my wife because of this.This is my favorite furniture store. Nothing comes close.

This location has beautiful costal inspired furniture. They also have Polywood outdoor furniture. They had the Polywood piece I was looking for and I bought it on the spot. If you order from Polywood.com that piece would have taken 12 weeks to arrive. Thank you Star Furniture you made my day.

Buying a living room sofa is not one ofmy favorite pass times but yesterday we went to Star Fine Furniture and Jo Arnold wasso helpful. She allowed us to tear apart their display and rearrange the sofa we liked and helped us set it up how we liked it. She made the buying experience very pleasant and made us feel very welcomed. The furniture iss great. The prices were good. However, the follow up customer service leaves much to be desired. I know that some items are delayed due to manufacturing challenges stemming from Covid shut downs. However, my disappointment comes from not being kept informed. I bought the furniture in April. Each time I call, they promise me that they will check and call me back within 24 hours. As of yet, that has not happened. Ill wait a few days and call again, and get the same promise. If you say youll follow up, please do so. And please dont tell me that you told someone else to call. I dont need to hear you blame someone else. Just give me the courtesy of doing what you said youd do.

I had originally posted a negative review and gave Starfine Furniture 1 star. This was due to hiccups with the order, and how I was treated by the assistant store manager. My husband went to the store and spoke to the owner, Jody, about what had happened. Jody was sympathetic, kind, compassionate and a true professional. I purchased a mattress and when I received it, it has several scuff marks and small sections that were torn on the box spring. I called and they explained that they would have their representative, (that handled this) come out. Along with pictures and an email requesting them to come out. Two months went by. After following up with them again, someone came out 2 weeks later. He took the same pictures that I had already submitted to them previously.I told them I deserve to have the brand-new bed that I paid for. He explained that he was new, and He wasn’t the decision maker and would be getting back with me within the week. Also explained that the person that was there before was not diligent on customer service. I thought maybe we’d get somewhere this time. I followed up for several months and have had no response.Very disappointed.

I called the Dickinson store and they did not Cary what I was looking for but Connie told me to call the Galveston store and ask for Justin. I called Justin who was very knowledgeable and helpful. He talked me through the process of ordering my Lazy boy power recliner and it was very simple.

Bought a couple of mattresses for a rent house, for full over full bunk beds. We called ahead and were told they had a couple of mattresses that were relatively inexpensive, and in stock. When we showed up to get the mattresses, the lady that had told us they had the mattresses said they didnt have them out on the floor to be shown. It was kind of odd, because she also acted like she didnt have the mattresses she just told us they had 10 minutes earlier and proceeded to show us some fairly high-dollar mattresses....not something Id put in a rent house. We asked about the mattresses we had called about, and she said Im showing you mattresses.We explained they were going in a rent house, and we wanted the mattresses that we had called about. Then she got all upset and very unfriendly, I guess the $500 we were going to spend was just not enough for 10 minutes of her time. I will say that the manager was very nice, Im really not sure why she has a job. With an attitude like that, I dont see how she ever sells anything. I believe her name was Mia, although I couldnt understand her all that well over the phone. She was pretty rude on the phone too, and hung up on my husband while he was still trying to ask her a question. If youre wondering why we bought anything at all at the store, its because they did actually have the mattresses in stock and nobody else on the island did. I would go back and buy more mattresses for my rent house; I would just use the different salesperson or maybe deal with the manager who was super friendly.In addition, the gentleman at the warehouse were fantastic, they were friendly, helpful, it was a totally different experience from our salesperson at the store.

What ever you do dont spend your mpney here. If u want to return they charge a 25%restocking fee and another delivery charge. All other stores charge 10%at the most. The recliner was not the one I picked in the store which they refused to admit when explaining this to the sales person I was told well I hope it starts to grow on you go to The Dump its worth the drive great quality and better pricing and above all very friendly service. I now have to load the chair with my daughter and return it as not to be changed another fee, and by the way Im 72 years old, thanks Star.

I have bought items for my home and business and have had fantastic customer service every time. They make you feel like you are going to visit a friend instead of buying furniture. The products are great quality and so are the people. Always a pleasure and I am a customer for life.

After buying a couch and love seat it turns out the love seat was broken on the interior. It had a cracking loud noise when putting pressure on it and just moving it. Also the couch has a cricking/crackling noise on it and that will have to be fixed as well with brackets according to the technician that came out. A technician came and picked up the love seat to fix. Still havent received it back yet after over a week. Star Fine Furniture said they will order me a new one and could take 2-3 weeks (none in stock) or if the love seat is fixed I will receive that, which ever comes first.Either the movers are careless, (scratched up my doorway carrying it in and I had to go back and touch up paint on my doorway) carrying and moving the furniture and causing it to break, or the quality is no good. I never get any feedback from these people, I always have to CALL THEM to get the latest status on what is going on for fixing the love seat!Totally disappointed in this place and the quality of the furniture.Buyer Beware.

Nice furniture and sales rep. Insurance is a joke. Made a claim on June 6 that has still not been settled. I have initiated most contact with Montage Furniture Service. The furniture store said they would help but nothing is happening. It is Aug. 10. I have made 2 phone calls to the manager, Justin, with no response. I’m very disappointed and frustrated.

Theres a lot to choose from including recliners. They have an entire section of the store dedicated to recliners. You couldnt sit in all of the recliners in one day. If you did, youd set a world record for most recliners sat in.Prices are fair and vary. You can get cheap furniture and expensive furniture all varying in style and quality, including the recliners. From the El Cheapo to the King Henry isnt even good enough to sit on this recliner.You can even change the upholstery on the recliners.... this store should be called Star Fine Recliners and More.

Purchased a quality mattress and was going to have it delivered a week later. They first went to 2 different addresses, then finally came to mine. Both men complained about the amount of stairs and the difficulty, then they put the mattress outside the bedroom and didn’t put it on the bed or even unwrap it. Also didn’t haul away the old one! Not a great place!

NO STAR SHOULD BE AN OPTION! We purchased a couch, and when they delivered it they damaged it! The delivery person said they would not take it back with them and that a representative would come to inspect the couch and fix it (WHAT! fix a brand new couch??) When the Couch Inspector came he said there was no repairing it, we then returned to the store where they issued us a refund on the couch and said they would pick it up on the next delivery.THEN the same person who issued the refund called and said the owner said they would not issue the refund and basically YOU GET WHAT YOU GET!Never experienced this before and I can not believe this is actually happening to us! WORST experience, i hope this help one potential customer from making the wrong decision!

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM HERE IF YOU WANT QUALITY AND VALUE!!!! We bought a custom made leather sofa and recliner at Star Fine Furniture to the tune of almost $4000 in June. Took 8 weeks to come in. When it was finally delivered I immediately found several flaws in the stitching and leather quality plus two pin holes in the side. I was told NOT TO WORRY, they would fix any issues. 6 months and countless lies later andThe has still not been addressed. Technicians dont show up.. No matter how many times you call and complain to the manager he says its the first time hes heard about the situation and he will get back to you. Rarely does but even if he does nothing gets resolved. Still waiting and hoping to get the furniture I paid for 6 months ago.
